Great old style course. Small greens in good shape, undulating narrow fairways. Course was in great shape overall. The help was courteous and friendly.

Our golf group (Taft 1972) play every Tuesday at different courses around the area. Potters is in the best shape of any of them. From tee boxes, fairways, greens, all immaculate. Mark and his staff deserve high praise for keeping Potters in great shape.

Carol was extremely rude as soon as we walked in she shook her head at us and said we were late, but we already had people check in for us and they were having us wait for carts since they didn’t have any ready. She was rude to us two more times while checking in and we booked this for Father’s Day. We will never be back. We took our dad and brother out for 9 holes for their first time and we got told by the workers we were too slow and needed to skip hole
8 and 9 after paying for 6 people on Father’s Day Weekend they should expect it to be busy and there is no time requirement on their site when booking. Paying 100+ for a horrible customer service experience is very disappointing

I have probably golfed at potters more than I have anywhere else. Some of my first memories were from coming here with my dad when I was a little kid and I had a lot of fun times golfing in tournaments here as a kid. It’s a short course but it really can play tough when the greens get firm because they are so small.

Always extremely slow play for no good reason. Decent course but not worth the price. Highly doubt we'll be back after multiple bad experiences.

Played a round of golf here in late fall. The course was in really good shape. The staff inside were friendly and very helpful. I am new to golf and don't have clubs yet, but they offered me rental clubs for free. The guy behind the counter was super nice and gave me a couple of golf balls (which I quickly lost). I will be back!

Course was in ok shape. Prepare for long wait times and folks skipping the front to play to the back, due to poor layout. Quite a few greens are driveable.

The staff was incredibly rude and irritable. I'd go other places before here.

Scheduled a 6 man scramble 2 months in advance. Confirmed two weeks prior. Was accosted by a clerk at hole 9. Wouldn’t recommend.

Easily the worst course in Hamilton unless you can’t hit the ball very far and love being piled on top of everyone in Hamilton. Course is crammed together by roads between houses. All the grass is dead. We teed off at 740 and played 18 holes with sprinklers running on every hole the entire round. It’s no wonder they tout that they have new cart paths because it’s the only nice thing about the course is the cart path and the history. Ranger drove around and sat on his phone all day and trust me you can see him from every hole because all the holes are piled on top of each other. The staff one guy looked like he crawled out of a dumpster and another guy is mowing all the tee boxes in a tank top on steroids and it’s 60 degrees out at 7am. Will never play this course again total waste of time and money besides the history. Twin run is a far superior course and so is Hueston woods. Indian ridge is even better.. also in the morning all the shots are facing east so you hit dead into the sun in the morning..

Last played on 09/06/24, but have played at Potters several times this year. More of a course for seniors & women. Very short; small greens with lots of sloping; generally narrow fairways; course condition was generally very good. A few questionable pin placements with pins located very close to the edge of the greens. A few challenging holes. Carts were clean but one of the carts smelled like a can of gasoline was dumped over the cart. Employees seemed friendly, and course wasn't overpriced. Nice course for seniors to get in an occasional round.

Although short, course is challenging with lots of trees and some hard greens. Very well maintained and in great shape. Slow to play when there is a crowd. Staff is friendly and very engaged

Marty was very accommodating. Took the time to find lefty clubs that my business partner could borrow from out of town and he stayed until 730 to let us finish our round. We really appreciated the great service on short notice!

Course is in good shape. Greens are tiny but fast and it makes you really think about your approach shots. Course is on the smaller side and gave me a great chance to work on my irons. They remodeled part of the club house and they have food and drinks. Nice little course i shot an 83 im a 15 handicap.

I've played potters for 25 years and can say the course, while not the longest course, is quite fun. I enjoy the shorter par 4s and a few interesting par 3s on the back nine. No real complaints as this is a public golf course and plays as such. Prices are good.

I don’t normally write reviews so it’s really saying something that I’m taking the time to write this. I love the course here and play it often but the staff has made it miserable. The guy behind the counter will do anything to leave early. I have been told so many times I can’t play 18 holes that I booked because he needs to leave by 745. The website says 9 pm is closing and it’s not near dark, yet he demands the carts be in because β€œhe wants to go home”. I’ve seen him turn away plenty of paying customers so that he can leave. He has harassed my group, coming out to the course to make us leave at 730 when sundown is 830. He is extremely rude and unprofessional because we made him do his job. I may not return to golf here but I hope this review does some justice.

I like this golf course. It has some very challenging par 3's and a couple par 4's that an average golfer can birdie.
There have been some improvements to the fairways and the grounds this year and last. New sand traps are being built.

Been to this course 3 times now and really enjoy it. Great course for beginners. Not super easy, but not too difficult. I took a buddy for his first time ever. He doesnt own clubs so he was sharing mine. One of the staff members saw that we were sharing and took the time to grab a set of clubs and bring them out for my friend to use. Later in the day, another staff member was giving him tips and helping him on his swing. That's the kind of service that will keep lifelong customers!

This place is insane. It's as though they had room for only 5 holes and somehow jammed 18 into the space. You will hear "FORE!!!" legitimately 20 times per round. Do yourself a favor and don't play here; play Indian Ridge instead.

I really enjoy this course. The front nine is more of a traditional length and is a tough challenge. The back 9 is more of an executive style with 3 par 3s and holesnwhere strategy is very important.
