This is the best gym in my opinion I've been going since last year with my dad and brother the owner is always nice and funny there's a lot of different equipment from benches to squat racks to machines to free weights it's all amazing in my thoughts I love to see rocko every time I see him the community is really sweet nice and helpful I've made some gym partners in there as well all good people there is a mirror room for good photos

No nonsense facility. Stopping by briefly on a roadtrip back to NC. personally like a little more.room for HIIT workouts, but had plenty of squat racks, benches, machines for days. The cardio room had a wide variety of machines too to include stairs toppers.

Unique which would 100%make me return is a special sub cardio room with functional fitness racks, small tarmac, heavy bag, and other free weights. Additionally they have options for wrestling and BJJ as well making it a well rounded all around facility.

35 bucks a month, you can't beat for everything offered here. BJJ, wrestling are separate add ons.

From someone who has gone to this gym for over four years now, it’s by far the best gym around. The staff is always so nice, the gym is organized, and people always put their weights back after using them. Everyone is welcoming and helpful when needed! Highly recommend-especially if you like an old school-bodybuilding type of gym! I’ll never train anywhere else!

I have been coming here for years. If you don't visit, you'll never know. If you are looking for a good workout, you can get busy here. After reading the other reviews, I wanted to state that I never smelled any dog urine in the establishment. As for the owner, he is retired cop so he's got a nose for sniffing out trouble. Everyone is respectful because he is there.

Unpleasant experience. Rude members that belittle you for asking questions about equipment, and the owner is very unfriendly. Seems to be especially negative towards younger adults. Notoriously known for following you around and harping on you if you stop to talk briefly or if he seems to personally dislike what you’re doing.

Best gym in the area by far the best experience I’ve ever had at the gym. The owner is a veteran and retired state highway. Has respect for everyone if you repeat his equipment. The front desk staff is unbelievable, nicest people I’ve ever meet. You will not have a bad time here everyone wants to make you better no one judges you and other members will help if you ask. There are so many professionals in here who are world class. Can’t beat the price or environment. And the shakes are to die for!

Weirdest experience at a gym. My friend and I were looking for a new gym to join. We went on a week night. Place was dead and we were hitting a longer lift. The owner proceeded to follow us around saying there was no talking in his gym and proceeded to make gay jokes to us the entire time anytime we tried talking. It’s his gym so his rules but man it was an odd experience.

Lot of old school equipment and have everything you could possible want. Sick gym just wouldn’t want to deal with the owner every time I wanted to get a lift in.

Pricing for a pass or monthly is great for all you get.

This place is a nightmare to cancel a membership with. They refuse to work with you about canceling a membership, even if you're moving away and can't use the membership. They told me that I had to continue to pay until it ends in May. This was February. June comes and money is taken out. I call them about it, was asked to send an email to cancel since they need the notice in writing. June was supposed to be the last month paid. Just happened again. Then I called today and was told that it was the last bill now. No. I'm disputing. Stay away!

if you are truly dedicated or even just starting out they have someone who is there to help. they have a lot of equipment and extra amenities like sauna, steam room, cold plunge, provide shakes/snacks that actually taste good. the environment is energetic and engaged. i’ve looked around on pricing at near by gyms and they are more than affordable as well. you really can’t beat it! only downside is hours, wish they had 24hr option and some of the equipment is to close to each other but otherwise my first choice!

I’ve been going to power station gym for several years now. I can’t say enough about how awesome this gym really is. There is absolutely no other gym like it, incredible staff, equipment, and atmosphere. It was nice to see all the updates when mike purchased it, some of the equipment was either broken or just plain outdated, I wouldn’t recommend any other gym than powerstation gym.

I moved to the area back in August and was looking for a gym. I heard about Powerstation and let me tell you, I've been to some similar gyms, but it's a no contest when it comes to how hardcore Powerstation is. This gym is like a combination of the best of the old school meets the modern da. Put simply, Powerstation has a very unique character. That's all thanks to Mike, the staff and the amazing folks who train here.

It's basically a large, subdivided warehouse. There is something for everyone. The floor is massive, they have multiple dumbbells, insane variety of machines, power racks, deadlift platform, turf, kegs, hammers, tires, tons of different barbells, benches, you name it. They even have a sauna!

I've heard people drive an hour or more to train here. It's a testament of how awesome this place is. It's very patriotic and veteran friendly. Last but not least. Don't forget to rerack you weights! Your momma doesn't work here!

This is a GYM, not a fitness center... If you dont understand let me explain. This place is probably the coolest gym I've ever visited. I was visiting from out of town and was trying to find the best gym in town, and this was easily it. They allow first time guests a free visit; you'll just need to fill out a liability waiver. The gym itself has several areas where you can workout. They have a wrestling area, cardio area, racquetball courts, and of course the Powerstation side of the gym. The Powerstation portion of the gym is a whole separate section filled with just about everything you could imagine using for strength training. There's plenty of free weights, pulley stations, benches, barbells, kettlebells, plates, and specialty equipment even for peak use times. You would have to be a gym rat who came here every day for a year in order to truly try everything they have to offer. There are also complementary chalk bowls to help your grip for heavy bar lifting. There's even a quasi-astroturf patch about 30 yards long for pulling a sled or even sprinting. The Powerstation side of the gym has a really old-school feel to it and appears to have trained several body-building competitors over the years. The owner has a couple of pit bulls that roam around the Powerstation side of them gym, but they're very well-behaved and are a pretty novel addition, especially if you're a dog lover. Next time I'm in town, I'm definitely going to come for another visit or two!

My daughter trained here as a result of a shoulder injury from HS Volleyball. After working with Mike she was able to prepare her shoulder for college ball, increase her vertical by 3 inches and went on to become a 2 year All American,play in 3 National Championships and now coaches college Vball. Mike taught her not only how to be in shape physically but how to be in shape to prevent accidents, how to train correctly, and what it means to have someone encourage you to reach for your goals!
After watching my daughter improve I decided to get in shape and with Trainer Amy Sibcy I learned how to work out, how to eat healthy and I lost 50lbs!
