I moved to Columbus a year ago and brought an osteoporosis diagnosis with me (2018). I was aware of the Onero program and was ecstatic when I learned that my new community was home to one of the few US programs. I came into Precision Wellness Personal Training with a good weightlifting/resistance training base and began the program with Todd and Kristin six months ago. I have never been one to work with many personal trainers as I have observed many who are not as conscientious and detail oriented as I would like. With the Onero program, attention to detail is an absolute must. Todd and Kristin are the best! Safety and proper technique are at the forefront of their
training approach. They always check-in with us to see if any adjustments need to be made prior to beginning each session. While there may be 2-4 people in the session, we are being intently scrutinized as we perform the lifts and given individual feedback as needed. They are also always willing and able to answer specific questions. If that isn’t enough, they are just really nice people and obviously love what they do, making each session a focused and enjoyable experience. I always look forward to my ONERO days.

AND, the best news to share is that results from my recent DEXA scan revealed that I am no longer in the osteoporosis range in my spine or hip. Woohoo!!!

Thanks to my training over the past year and a half with Patty at Precision Wellness, I was able to fully enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Antarctica. I participated in activities like kayaking, walking on snow, ice, and rocky terrain, and getting in and out of zodiacs—even wading in cold water and transitioning between kayaks and zodiacs while on the water. The physical demands were no small feat, but I felt strong, capable, and confident thanks to the preparation I received. I truly couldn’t have done it without this training

I have been training with Todd since September 2023, following my leg amputation above the knee. I believe I'm his first leg amputee client. Todd was quite ready and excited to take on the challenge! He collaborated with my physical therapist to focus on specific areas to improve my balance on the prosthetic side, and strength on my other leg. He also researched various exercises and modifications for leg amputees.
We've been working out twice a week on strength training and weight lifting, balance, core, agility, and other areas. Todd is always very well prepared, creative, patient, and focused on proper form. He constantly challenges me to try new routines and heavier weights. The workouts are always fun, and I look forward to them each week. Under Todd's tutelage I have gained strength and confidence to return to my outdoor adventures: hiking, biking, kayaking, backpacking, and even downhill skiing!

Todd,
I have never had a trainer before. Except for coaches yelling at me. Which I never found helpful except making me want to punch them.
So when I started I was apprehensive - initially. But after 5 minutes Kristen proved she knows her business. She is motivating without being insincere. She is patient but makes corrections as I go. Knowledgeable in explaining the benefits of doing something correctly.
She makes the journey back to health - fun, except when she’s killing me. But I wouldn’t have recommended her to my wife if I didn’t think she would enjoy her time and achieve her goals with Kristen’s help.

After several joint replacement/vertebrae fusion surgeries in a short period of time and advanced arthritis, left me physically compromised. Needed to work on balance, mobility, strength, weight loss. After months with Connor, everything is significantly improved. After considerable research, I learned about the positive results that the ONERO program has on reversing osteoporosis. Hence, I travel from Cleveland to Columbus each week to participate in Todd Zody’s ONERO program, and it’s totally worth the drive!

I am so thankful to have Todd as my instructor. It’s very evident that he loves his work. He is enthusiastic, makes the class fun, and takes an interest in each of us clients. He is organized and well-prepared for each session. He changes up the curriculum to make each class unique and exciting, keeping us motivated.

Todd has great teaching skills. His explanations are clear, and he personally demonstrates to ensure we understand what’s being asked of us. Our questions are always welcomed and answered thoroughly. He’s also a good listener and keeps attuned as to how we are feeling before and during each workout and adjusts our individualized curriculums accordingly.

Safety is always a priority with Todd. Lifting weights with proper form is especially important for a person with osteoporosis, and Todd watches intently to make sure we are lifting the proper amount of weight and with the correct technique. He is kind and patient, and also wants us to achieve our best and knows when to push us.

I was diagnosed with osteoporosis over 20 years ago. Other than medication, I have never found any option to deal with my osteoporosis until I attended a free, no obligation workshop by Todd. There I learned about the Onero program to help build up bone density. I started the Onero exercise program 2 1/2 months ago. I find that my twice a week Onero class is specifically tailored to my needs with careful technical training by Todd. Each week I am progressively challenged with increased weights and repetitions. My goal is to build bone density and muscle strength. I am looking forward to my fall bone density test. I am expecting great results. My mom started working with Todd eight years ago and always raved about his professionalism. I am a 70 year old senior with three joint replacements and extensive osteoarthritis, who wants to continue living an active lifestyle doing the things I love to do. After beginning to work with Todd approximately 5 months ago, the accomplishments in terms of strength, flexibility and range of motion have been amazing. In 2017 I started working with Todd not only as my personal trainer but also as my health coach.

Present date…..I am stronger than I even thought I could be at my age (mid 60’s) and feeling great. My blood sugar is much lower and I have lost 50lbs.

Todd Zody goes above and beyond to serve his clients. My wife and I are 78 and 77, respectively, what we used to think of as “elderly.” Yet, we have been training twice a week with Todd Zody at Precision Wellness for over three years, continuing to use video sessions we began during COVID in our basement home gym. We have no doubt that Todd’s targeted training regime has had a positive impact on our continued excellent health, steady balance, and general well-being. I have known Todd for quite a few years and seven months ago began working with him when I retired and wanted to become healthier and stronger. I live an hour from Columbus and work out at another facility due to the distance. The goals I wanted to achieve when I began working out with Todd were to gain strength after I finished PT from total knee replacement and to combat osteoporosis, while taking my low back pain into consideration. Todd designed workouts that not only met those goals but as an awesome bonus helped me with movement anxiety I developed after having my knee surgery. A family member told me about Todd, and now several of us are working with him! With my previous trainer, we started off with too much too fast and I got very sore. Todd’s approach is to gradually increase the number and difficulty of the exercises, and because of that, I’ve rarely even been a little bit sore! He’s always very upbeat and motivating, but gently nudges me to try more, never pushes. I’ve often been surprised by what I’m capable of doing, and have increased both my strength and flexibility more than I anticipated.

My workout is customized just for me, and sometimes needs to be modified to deal with an illness or other medical issues. Todd is very knowledgeable about alternate exercises or methods and helps me find a way to complete my exercises without any pain. I’ve always struggled with body image and acceptance, that’s no secret. Always felt like a skinny runt. I think that’s part of my drive to keep completing marathons … because that, more than anything else, has made me feel accomplished and exceptional and worthy. Weight training has always intimidated me. In July of 2019, I started working with Todd. I had worked with other trainers in the past and not seen much in the way of improvement. I still struggle with motivation and letting perfection be the enemy of the good. But then there are moments like tonight, when I looked in the mirror after my arm workout and thought ‘Holy s***! Is that me?’ I never expected at the ripe old age of 49 to actually feel a moment of pride and unmitigated happiness looking at an image of myself. No two workouts are ever the same with Todd. I appreciate the variety, the thoughtfulness he puts into each week's workouts, and he pushes me to achieve more than I think I'm capable of. Ever since I started working with Todd to get stronger I have noticed that everyday tasks at home have gotten easier for me to do such as bending to pick things up and lifting kitty litter cartons and groceries. Todd helped me prepare for my knee replacement surgery. And when PT ended because of insurance limitations, he continued to help improve my strength and range of motion. His help doesn’t end with knees. Years ago, I had major surgery on both of my shoulders. Todd helped me make modifications so I can regain strength while minimizing injury risk. I’ve been working with Todd almost a year now on safe and effective exercise routines to increase my bone density, strengthen target areas and improve lower back issues. My sessions have been virtual since COVID started and it is working out great for me. Highly recommend working with Todd!!
