I was really excited about this location being close to home but when I checked the restrooms the stalls were pretty roomy and that was a plus for me. The huge downfall was that both of their restrooms only had grab bars on the right. Doesn't work well for someone who is left side dominant and in a power chair. I run the risk of falling. So I won't be going back which is a BUMMER.

Very Impressive. I was visiting in Indy and thought I would get my workout on while there and was very impressed with the facility. Kinda was jealous it was better than mine back 🏡 home.

I’m a nationwide member I called to make sure this was a ymca and if I’m a nationwide member and if I’m allowed to use the club, she said you have to show up very difficult. It’s a simple question. Yes, I’m allowed to use your club if you were a ymca, you couldn’t answer that that makes no sense. Things aren’t that difficult but I guess we’re near Trotwood, Ohio the high school where a gun was pulled on me in 1992 three on three basketball tournament and a ridiculous inner city of any city experience this is for the birds I guess I’ll go try to take a shower.
The interstates of America have been lied to a long time. The poor lady has to feel nervous when somebody asked her a question. It’s unreal. Shame on the inner city. Now we’re learning about an adored president lied along with another potential president actually two presidents. The inner cities have been lied to for a long time . Very nice facility.
As I tried to explain it to the lady when I left realize Ymca is listing everywhere as a ymca. I’ll drive to one in my truck on time regulated it’s not a YMCA where I can take a shower please take note.

The aquatics department staff at Premier Health YMCA (of Greater Dayton) are amazing and helpful!
It is, however, extremely disappointing and enraging that the YMCA has been around for nearly two centuries and running summer camps nearly as long, and for some reason, they don't seem to have procedures in place for processing summer camp applications. I can't get the personnel to return my calls or email about misplaced (and very, very sensitive) documents left at the front desk. I will not use the services at this location again. #DoBetter

I love the Premier Health YMCA. The staff is very welcoming and the facilities are clean and organized. I love the morning class with Dawn Williams. She is the bomb.com!! I so glad you all brought her to this YMCA. I have also had a great time with the pickleball and seen this program grow. This is in a central location for residents in the city of Dayton.

The staff is supper and friendly clean location but the center director is extremely rude, they don't explain to u that children aren't welcome in weight area without orientation before they take your money. Also no signs or never mention we aren't allowed to record our self working out. But this woman ain't even speak before she walked over to me and my child and told us we can't record. When asked for a refund cause I was told I had to have an ID not the membership card. That lady makes ymca look bad. Been a member for 10 plus years and never have I ever felt so disrespected. I pay my money but I can't record MYSELF for my own content is crazy work.

Very clean. Pool is easily accessible if you have a hard time walking. They even have a chair to assist in pool entry for those with disabilities. I LOVE IT. Haven't been able to use the gym yet but my teens love the open concept and mention how willing people are to help use the machines. Younger teens and preteens are required to do a "safe use" packet and I appreciate that.

Came in from out of town and came up to this YMCA to get my mom signed up who’s been doing a great job eating healthier on her own but needs somewhere to workout now. We were greeted by a woman with a blonde short cut and expressed wanting to potentially sign up. We asked for a tour & she did not seem interested in helping us out with that, said we needed ID which we did have. Someone else came up to
The desk & she went to speak with them right away without letting us know that she’d be back with us. We stood there and more time went by, we read through the info papers about 2 times and she still didn’t look our way. So we left confused on what was happening. She didn’t acknowledge us as we gathered the info papers and left either. 2 stars for the clean and well built facility that we could see from the front desk. As a person that runs a profitable studio out of state hospitality & communication are everything when serving a community. Heading to another location hoping for a better experience.

I have a family membership. I attend a cycling class and total body fitness classes on Wednesday. My babes go to the daycare while I work out and my ten year old swim while I work out. They offer 2 hours of child care while you work out

I had went for my Doctor's Appointment and he Ordered some Lab Work and the Lab was closed @ the Doctor's Office so I had to go across the Street to the Premier Health YMCA Facility. They have a CompuNet Lab in that New Building. I was in and Out. The Lab Tech was Great and Hospitable, I didn't even feel her stick Me. U can Trust and Believe the next time my Doctor Orders Lab Work, I'm going right across the Street. That's a New Building/Facility @ the corner of Salem and Philadelphia Dr. There's a YMCA, Care Source, Urgent Care and a couple of Facilities in that New Building.

Beautiful facility. Only issues there is no sitting room in the gym, and you are not allowed to have chairs of any kind in the gym. This is a issue with me when I visit the center with my grandsons I have to stand the hold time or leave my grandsons unattended and sit in the lobby area.

Awesome brand new YMCA facility!! Very convenient for citizens of NW Dayton. Huge gymnasium and fitness center with lots of cardio and free weights. Usually not very busy. Always clean! The staff are super friendly. There’s a pool, locker rooms with showers. Sadly there is no sauna or steam room here. That’s the only thing missing!

I made my first visit to the new Y this morning. Everything was great. My only complaint was that *I* was in no better shape than I had been at the downtown Y.
Hopefully that will improve soon.

Premier Health Urgent care, and Premier YMCA on Philadelphia Avenue in Dayton, Ohio is open. I should say that the YMCA is open. This is the site that the old Good Samaritan hospital was for years. The new Premier location look's nice. With a large parking area there should be no problem with parking issues. Some people didn't agree with the removal of Good Samaritan hospital, but give the new Premier location a chance.

I hope this ymca has a therapy pool because the therapy pool hours are horrible for people who work full time and on weekends the pool hours are inconsistent. West carrollton is the closest therapy pool with only fifteen minute use if I drive from work. I drove to kleptz pool and it was closed despite website said it was open.
