Pure Barre is a blend of ballet-barre inspired movements with elements of yoga, pilates and dance. It works for women with different body types and fitness levels. Small isometric movements targeted to change your problem areas are performed to encouraging and upbeat music. You don't need any dance background to practice this, so rhythmically challenged should not worry. This workout is never the same and it constantly evolves - they have just added a cardio type to their repertoire. Pure Barre Hudson studio has great vibes - owners and instructors are welcoming and friendly alike. Give it a try and don't resist the addiction when you see fast results!

Perfect workout for me! It's low impact on your muscles and joints but high intensity. Every class is a bit different and always a challenge. Every instructor has been so welcoming and very helpful. Definitely no judgement inside those walls! Also, all the moves can be modified if you experience pain. I haven't been able to workout in awhile due to herniated discs/sciatica and it seems the Pure Barre technique is strengthening and stabilizing all the right muscles. The muscles I've been babying for so long because my back hurt! I hope to stick with it and tone up- the workout is just addicting!

The environment is relaxed and it is a awesome place to come and work out.After 3 years I still find the workouts challenging and effective. I believe women of all ages would find the workouts more difficult than expected and the results amazing. All exercises can be modified , therefore there are really no restrictions. After my first few classes I was sold!

Pure Barre Hudson combines a group, yet individual, exercise experience in a fun, upbeat, positive atmosphere no matter the age of the client. I have been a Pure Barre client for 2 1/2 years and absolutely love it! The workeout is as intense as YOU make it. It becomes a personal challenge in which you self-pace to obtain positive results, and you feel so good after the workout! I have had chronic pain for years and this is one exercise routine I can do. Modifications are available, while still getting a great overall body exercise. The staff is fun, and interested in your progression. They offer tips and challenges for the routine for everyone. It has made a great impact on me and my life by being able to exercise without using excessive weights, or running and injuring my joints and pelvis. It is a routine that I CAN do!

I love the pure barre community and how all the women are so welcoming! The high energy of the class is amazing and so are the results. After 10-12 classes your already noticing your clothes fitting differently, which motivates you even more. It's 55 minutes designated towards women and their troubled areas and I would recommend it to anyone!
