Welcome to Purple Lotus Yoga Studio. We are Mentor's ONLY Yoga studio that does not restrict you to a Hot, Power Yoga practice. Our practice is about feeling into the body and connecting with what your/your body are feeling and needing. This practice is slow, and that doesn't always mean it's easy. It takes a lot of patience to slow ourselves down and remove ourselves from the fast pace, chaotic world we live in. We offer classes suited for all levels, as well as private one on one sessions, events and workshops. We welcome all who wish to practice Yoga.

Such a great place to practice and restore your mind & body. GREAT instructors, and very clean studio. Every class is different and can be as challenging as you like… they stress finding your own “edge”. It’s a friendly atmosphere and I highly recommend joining this great community of friends!

Just tried out Purple Lotus Yoga and I’m seriously impressed. The vibe is super relaxing and incredibly welcoming! The space itself is really clean and calming—definitely feels like a little escape from the chaos of my everyday life.
The instructors are awesome—super friendly and they do a great job guiding everyone, no matter your experience level. I’ve done a few different classes already and each one has left me feeling relaxed, refreshed, and like I actually did something good for myself!
I highly recommend checking it out if you’re looking for a new spot to practice!

Julie, the owner/instructor, is exceptional in how she tailors each session to the individual needs of her students. Whether you’re new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, Julie takes the time to offer modifications, adjustments, and thoughtful guidance, ensuring that each pose is accessible and beneficial for your body. Her attention to detail and deep care for each student’s progress makes every class feel both nurturing and empowering. I took advantage of the 1st month offer to visit as many classes I could to see which ones would work for me. Julie offers great packages so restoring your body and mind won't break the bank. I can't say enough good things about Purple Lotus Yoga! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and embraced by the warm atmosphere and friendly staff. This studio is a true sanctuary for anyone looking to deepen their practice or simply find a moment of peace in their day. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and create a non-judgmental space where everyone can feel comfortable, regardless of their skill level. If you are looking for a non-judgement zone with plenty of diversity, this is a studio worth experiencing. It's unique with it's different classes, from gentle, to slow flow, all levels, deep stretch and restorative/aromatherapy. Each instructor brings their own unique attributes to each of the classes so although it may go by the same name, it is so different. It's my opinion that Jen is athletic, Melanie technical, Nichole relaxing and Julie empowering. I try to make sure I get each instructor for their own beautiful piece of this studio. It makes for such a well rounded personal practice and I feel so blessed to be a part of their community.

It is an amazing Yoga studio!! Julie creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and forms a sincere connection with all who attend. She tailors her classes around her students, and offers a variety of movements, stretches, levels for all! When you are new, she makes it a point to make you feel comfortable within your start. If you’re new to yoga, intermediate, advanced I would highly recommend. I feel stronger mentally, emotionally, and physically after my classes!. Her themes she incorporates within each class are inspiring, empowering, and motivational. As someone who was brand new and intimidated by Yoga, Purple Lotus gave me a new super positive outlet to feel excited about each week!

An amazing yoga studio that is perfect for both beginner or advanced student. I started a little over a year ago and the changes I've seen are incredible. Many body aches and pains are either gone or greatly reduced; flexibility increased, stress levels decreased. Julie, her staff and the students are very welcoming to all!

If you are looking for a place to learn yoga, develop your practice, and be surrounded with positive energy in a non-judgmental, welcoming environment… then this is your place! I have been recovering from back surgery and yoga has been my saving grace. I’m also learning to manage my stress and anxiety. I feel incredibly grateful that I found Purple Lotus Yoga.

Love love love! This is the type of yoga that I like to do. I went to a Sunday Gentle Deep Stretch led by Jen. A lot of it was familiar to me but also new things that I hadn’t tried before like a tennis ball, starting flows in new ways, bolsters, etc. It smells very nice inside the studio. The warmth was great as it was very cold outside. The website is very easy to use and payment transaction. Plenty of reminders to attend the class. When I tried attending the class for the very first time I couldn’t find it. As it turns out google-maps app has their old address. Their new address is 8500 Station Street suite 266 Mentor OH. Julie was nice enough to email me and reschedule my class and let me know where their new location is. I will definitely be back! Thank you!

After each sound bath class I have felt so "refreshed"! I felt calm and energized at the same time! I do a lot of "grounding" on my own..but sometimes getting extra help from another source is needed! These classes were exactly what I needed! The space is beautiful and Julie is such a kind, down to earth soul! She just makes my heart smile and feel happy just seeing her smile upon entering the space!

I absolutely love it here! It is more than just a yoga class but just a safe space. I love having an hour to just disconnect from the world and listen to my body and hear and feel what it needs. Julie has such an amazing energy that you just feel at home even when joining a new class for the first time. 10/10 highly recommend!

From cancer surgery through chemo and radiation
Was so sick from chemo I couldn’t catch my breath, Julie talked me through it with her guidance I could find my breathing rhythm in order to be able to meditate thru the the pain.
Having lymphnodes removed and getting fried with radiation it was her one on one guidance that I regained full range of motion!!!!

I LOVE Julie's classes! The classes are challenging and are able to be modified for every level. They are never boring or repetitive. Julie is very encouraging and supportive. I can't wait to be back in her class. I've never felt as all around good as I did when attending her classes.

Julie is an awesome yoga instructor. I had no yoga experience but needed to work on flexibility. She was encouraging, supportive and made me feel very comfortable. Her knowledge and experience enabled her to adjust and tweak yoga to fit my abilities. Even in group yoga sessions she stayed aware of my and everyone’s individual abilities in order to insure maximum benefits.

I went to A class Julie was teaching without ever taking a yoga class before. Out of shape, not flexible, unable to focus. That is me. She worked with me. Helped me find alternative poses because I was just not able to do some of them. If you’re a beginner or novice, I highly recommend this instructor!
