This club is mediocre at best. They never gave me a tour of the club, so I didn’t know where things were and they never gave me access to a working website even when I was a paying member (the website never worked - date 2014??? - you are supposed to get access to the “members” website, which was never given to me??? - even after I was a paying member???).

They also have staff (“new”, family, no name tags, etc.) members who sometimes do not know what they are doing under “TEDDI LOFGREN” and “MIKE RUSSELL” leadership, working behind the front desk, including children who are underaged. “TEDDI LOFGREN” seems to not know what she is doing (never met her nor was introduced to her or “MIKE RUSSELL” (could have made an appointment to go over things, rules, etc., but never bothered or cared).

I had a small locker #280 in the executive locker room (only for executive members), but my bill stated “large”, so I don’t know if they were charging me for the small or the larger/nicer ones. Also, the sauna inside the executive locker room never worked when I was in the room or was never turned on, even when other folks were in there. One day, the “towel service” sign was gone and so was the clock hanging on the wall.

Their website (history, about, etc.) does not have the individuals who are in the leadership positions (owner(s), nor do they have the staff members (including qualifications for the pros, how much they charge, etc.), which makes it hard to know who is who or what is what. Too many folks working in the front desk (to the point you don’t know who is who or what is what). Once I was denied racket string service, because the machine broke??? You need an in-house stringer or at least an extra machine for that size club???

Once, I almost fell in the parking lot and going up the steps this past winter, because the ice and snow was not properly removed.

I still do NOT recommend this club at all in the greater Cincinnati area (County of Hamilton) because of the very bad experiences and how I was treated. For sure, I will never come back or recommend them to any of my colleagues, friends, or families, at least, for now or in the near future.

Please send me a full REFUND of all charges made at the club at the address on file.

RESPONSE: Please IDENTIFY yourself. You need to be very specific or clear about what you are stating or who you are talking about and where you received that information and from who(s). Your treatment of a paying member shows your lack of professionalism and how poorly you treat certain paying customers, including myself. Again, “TEDDY LOFGREN” and “MIKE RUSSELL” do not know what they are doing and certainly, do not know how to run a top notch tennis facility - still do not recommend this club because of my very poor experience at the club. This guy, “MIKE RUSSELL”, I think is his name, also touched my personal belongings without my authorization or consent. Please do NOT ever touch my belongings again, MIKE RUSSELL.

Who are your “staff” members and your “GM”? And certainly, “they” are NOT top notch. If you are the “owner”, put your name and a picture in the review please. Who is “we”?

Bathrooms are consistently gross. IBS splatter inside the toilets in the same place week after week for example. Lack of cleanliness is apparent throughout the building. I might blame the cleaning staff but management needs to inspect these things as well. Weight room is somewhat decent but showing signs of age with cracked final on multiple cushions. People rack up one machine and walk to the next taking up multiple racks at the same time during prime time. Pool is fairly decent in the summertime. Location is good. I hope Queen City pulls it together a little bit better than they've been doing.

Tried to reserve a court. I am out of town and here for work. You have to be a member in order to reserve a court which is unfortunate. The online info from where they commented on the last 1 star review is misleading.

That is not true I contacted y’all multiple times and asked about being a member and they said you have to be a member I even referred to multiple comments in the reviews about not having to be a member to reserve a court and they stated thats wrong

Queen City is a great place to play tennis! I joined a few months ago after doing an adult clinic to get back into tennis after many years. The pros are great, the courts are nice, the clubhouse space was just redecorated and is modern and comfortable. I’ve enjoyed playing on a team again and my kids liked the summer tennis camp they did a few years ago— especially swimming in the pool in the afternoons!

Great club adults and kids clinics. Whether a beginner, intermediate, advanced player, Queen City club has it all. The staff is super friendly. Note, it does get crowded at peak times. Planning ahead, reserving a court is always recommended.

Great tennis, workout & summer swim club. Has oodles of indoor hard courts & a bunch of outside clay courts on which you'll find any level of tennis you desire; from beginners' lessons to exciting competitive matches. They also offer childcare in a very nice, secure area so you can participate in your chosen activity and be assured your kids are safe & enjoying their time also.
