This facility is going to be amazing when it's complete. The refs need to learn the rules a little more though and get out of their attitudes. Other than that, I'm looking forward to coaching here again but not too soon because of them.

I've been dealing with Queen City Sportsplex for 15+ years & have never had any bad experiences with them at all. Even when the ownership changed over the years along with management, I've been treated fairly & have always had a direct line of open communication with them. I've been knowing Brad for nearly 10 years, if not longer, & he's been nothing short of excellent when it comes to anything dealing with the gym from open gym runs to the men's basketball league. I have a basketball team that's in the that league & the prices have been fair & the rules are straightforward. The communication about games, holidays, rules, etc. are sent via email before you sign up to join the league & are clear cut. I can't speak for anyone else who feels as if they've been treated poorly, but I definitely can speak from my personal experiences & they're all good on my end. I love Queen City Sportsplex & will continue supporting them, Brad & the men's basketball league.

Myself and some buddies signed up for the Menβs Adult Spring Basketball League. We paid around $400 to sign up. The season was supposed to be 10 weeks long with a game every Sunday. The guy Brad that does the scheduling really messed up because 6 weeks into the season we had only played 3 out of the 6 weeks. Brad kept giving our team βbye weeksβ. And finally he scheduled our team for 2 games on Mothers Dayβ¦ our team could not make it to the games that day. The following day we received an email from Brad saying that he was charging us $140 for missing the scheduled holiday games if our team wanted to continue playing the remainder of the season. Iβve played ball in leagues all over the state of Ohio and the country. Never in my life have I been somewhere so ghetto and filthy. They have dishonest and devious hidden ways that they are generating revenue. We were blatantly robbed by Brad. Until someone gets in touch with law enforcement Iβm sure this will continue to happen to other people.

Holding events while making major renovations is not recommended. The only restrooms are at the far front of the building. Iβm sure it will be amazing once the renovations are complete, but wonβt go back anytime soon.

Visited for a sled hockey tournament.....
Great staff, very nice facility that they are working to make even better ....
extremely "disabled friendly" -- wide walkways, ramps to bleachers, ramps onto ice surface ....
Already looking forward to visiting again next year !!!

Used to be a positive review. Now that theyβve removed roller hockey from the area Iβm not so sure of this facility. I was hoping the new owners would have improvements to the sport and not removing it.

Decent sports complex featuring Ice hockey, basketball and volleyball, with the occasional futsal tourney or gymnastics. Had inline hockey, but the rink is being removed.
The in-house bar is OK. A few beers on tap with a few can options, and some seltzers and ciders.
Had an OK pro-shop that was good in a pinch, but also has been removed for more facility space.
We'll see how updates continue as the new owners make more updates and what their vision brings for the Cincy hockey community.

Eliminating inline hockey is not the greatest way to grow the sport, IMHO. This place has all the warts an old converted retail building would and none of the charm of an old rink/gym. I recommend high clearance and 4wd for the parking lot. Stay away from the light/flag poles, as a moderate breeze has been known to topple them.

Had high hopes after the Cyclones purchased this facility, but somehow itβs fallen into further disrepair. I have nothing to say about the staff, but thatβs only because thereβs no one to be found actually working there half the time. The parking lot is completely torn up, and I worry about popping a tire every time I pull in. On top of this, there are massive security concerns that have recently presented themselves with multiple cars being broken into in the parking lot. I truly hope the Cyclones organization can actively work towards improving the facility, not just slap their branding over everything and consider it new.

The dumpsters outside are cleaner than this place. The parking lot is like an offroad course. The speaker system in the rink closest to the front door sou nds like Charlie Brown's parents. Make sure you get food before you come here, the "snack" stand was out of all hot food. I found that out after i woke the guy up behind the counter.1 star because the rink was well lit.

Came for a basketball tournament and was worried based on reviews. Now that I've been I don't understand the negative reviews. Yes, it's not the newest. Yes, there were dust bunnies throughout. But it was clean. Just old. Basketball courts were good. It could stand to have a little bit of a makeover to refresh it but overall it is fine. Basketball area was clean and had plenty of seating.

I donβt know who is in charge of cleaning this place, but it is absolutely disgusting. The locker rooms, the bathrooms, the rink area, the floors EVERYWHERE! Iβd give it zero stars if I could. The staff is very rude. When you go to get your rental skates and give them your size, they roll their eyes as if you are inconveniencing them. Iβm sure they donβt control some of the skating groups, but the figure skaters with the black and gold jackets and the ones with the blue and gold jackets are some of the rudest and mean spirited people I have ever encountered. Horrible experience and highly recommend avoiding this place If you can.

The parking was a nightmare, and they were towing cars. There's only 2 bathrooms for hundreds and hundreds of people to share. It seemed like the plumbing was backing up. The tournament was very unorganized, i don't think the place has much to do with that, though. But it was over crowded and no seating unless you bring your own chairs.

$20 for open skate? Absurdly overpriced, they should be ashamed gouging families this badly, especially when the ice is often trash and the skates are duller than an 1800s textbook. Go to Northlands a few blocks away, itβs much cheaper.

Sports plus is a great place. There are a bunch of sports that are played here. Soccer, basketball, hockey. Has a nice bar up front with good food. The only thing I would do is clean the gym floors. Kids and adults wear the shoes they want to play in from outside to inside. So it brings a lot of dirt and dust. Makes for slippery courts.
