I would have never given yoga a try had it not been for Raw Yoga 614. Having an inclusive space with welcoming energy was something I had never experienced in a yoga space, and I needed it more than I realized! I also love what Yaz & Derrick do in the community and for schools. Students desperately need tools to self regulate and I am thrilled they have such amazing role models to learn from.

When they say find your community this is what they mean. I found RawYoga 614 was I going through a major life transition. Not only did I receive the energy I needed from myself in my sessions with Yaizmen and her other instructors, but I also felt welcomed to join the other ventures taking place.

The kind outreach and vulnerability displayed by her and the rest of the community really helped to ground me in life and find peace in the pain of living.

The absolute best in the state. I've been to quite a few of her classes and she was always peacefully and patient with us. Great yoga teacher. Had all the nifty tools we needed for the practice and she was so great they had her doing the practice at the commons on stage. I absolutely love this womban and all she comes with. The owner is the most kind hearted person I have had the pleasure of getting to know. I go to yoga in the park summer sessions when I'm able to and sometimes visit different yoga studios and when she is leading the sessions I have always found them to be fulfilling. I have been practicing with RawYoga614 for 8 years. I have literally followed them wherever they go. I am not who anyone would consider a traditional student of yoga: POC, over 60, not a toothpick. I have NEVER been made to feel as if I don't belong. I can not say that about other spaces. I have to say I am rocking this aging thing thanks to RawYoga614. When a lot of people my age can't touch their toes I can do plow pose.
