My wife and I both train with PJ. The primary benefit of his program is accountability. No diet or exercise fads, just time-tested and science-backed routines that actually work. Your results will mirror your adherence to the program.
What's unique here is that it is structured in a way that makes it extremely difficult to lie to yourself. Because you are forced to face objective reality about your behavior on a daily basis, you end up internalizing certain truths, like it's easier to not eat that Crumbl cookie than it is to waste an hour burning it off. Eventually you won't even want the cookie anymore because you'll internalize how much it actually costs.
PJ tells things like they are. If you want someone to make you feel good about lackluster effort and that you're perfect the way you are, look elsewhere. Losing fat while gaining muscle at the same time is extremely difficult, very few people actually do it, but it will happen with PJ's program if you're willing to allow healthy habits and decisions become part of your identity - elite health and fitness not as something you aspire to, but as something you are.
If you're reading this in the early part of the 21st century, you're not going to explore Saturn, conquer Asia, or invent cold fusion. But why not become the fittest mom or the most jacked dad in the neighborhood? Be 50 and transcend most folks half your age in physique and fitness performance. Since 2012, I had been floundering with my health and fitness. The weight was piling on, adding to the discomfort of my osteoarthritis. I had tried, unsuccessfully, a few ways of eating over those years: Atkins, Keto, etc. Those diets weren’t sustainable for me. I always felt overwhelmed with food prep and didn’t see much improvement in my health markers.
After hearing PJ on the radio discussing his program, I decided to give it a try. I can’t say enough good about this way of eating. I never feel deprived and food prep couldn’t be simpler. Training wasn’t an issue with me, but this way of eating has made working out enjoyable again. I have plenty of energy and my weight is going down to a healthy level. I had been doing strength training for about 10 years with little physique change. In 2021, I started trying to lose fat on my own and was able to lose about 10 pounds but stalled out. That is when I reached out to PJ. While he is a great “coach” he is an even better “teacher”. He has taught me how to live a fit long-term sustainable life revolving around changes in my daily habits. I have really enjoyed how simple he makes the approach for nutrition, strength, steps and sleep. He responds to my many questions within minutes and tracks my progress on a daily basis to provide real time feedback. I am in the best shape (strength and fat) of my life, since working with PJ, and feel more confident that I can maintain and further my progress with him. If you like the sound of what Coach PJ and the Revive system offers/promises, you'll find the results will follow in kind. There's no short cuts or other BS. He writes the prescription, but you do the work. His check-ins and tools to keep you accountable work incredibly well, but in the end, you have to be ready to do the work.
Coach Striet has been and continues to be a tremendous resource to my wife and I through the early stages of our weight loss journey. We're learning how to be accountable and how to eat in a manner that's sustainable for the rest of our lives.

I've been with Coach PJ since January (2022). I was already in the process of losing weight but needed some accountability for too many reasons to list. I was at 233 in January and now I'm down to 199lb. I'm more consistent with eating what is necessary to lose fat and gain muscle as well as with my weightlifting routine. I'm planning on doing at least another 6 months with PJ once I hit my goal weight of 185lb as that will be when the real muscle building phase begins. Most importantly, to me at least, I'm learning more about myself and what my body does under certain circumstances than I ever have before; ex: keep protein high while losing fat and not only can you gain strength but you won't lose much muscle if any.

If I could add bonus stars to any review, I'd add it to this one. PJ is one of the best, most realistic, honest and encouraging online fitness coaches I have encountered. He personally understands the struggles that his clients may go through along this journey. He constantly reminds me that this is a journey, a life-long commitment, and the only way to fail is to quit. And there have been moments when I have wanted to, but the clear headed advice that PJ gives keeps me pushing forward in this adventure. He isn't all fluff and feathers, he will tell you exactly what you NEED to hear and couldn't give a rat's a$$ about what you'd like to hear, but at the same time, he gives a good amount of of positive feedback to keep you in the game. I've had some crazy events in my life, but PJ has been one important constant because let's be honest, that saying that "you can't pour from any empty cup" is spot on. PJ is the first trainer I ever hired, after training for 30 years on my own. Six months into the program my body transformed and is in the best shape it’s has been, arguably ever, given the whole of the mind, body and spirit. I’m at ideal shape and weight and it is sustainable indefinitely based on the lifestyle I was taught and the principles that support it. My life has completely changed from a nutrition standpoint too, which is a huge percentage of the process. Before working with Coach PJ, I would describe myself as a person who was fairly active and consistently trying to make good nutritional choices, while living a busy life. If you are in a rut and tired of gimmicks and potions, look no more. I am in my 40s and have been with them for a year. Life changing. He tells you what to do, the only thing you have to do is follow directions. It’s that simple. He is responsive and will tell you the truth. I hired P.J. About 7 months ago and it has been literally life changing. I exercised off and on my whole life and thought I understood things. After ballooning up to over 280lbs and wrestling between 280-260-280 over and over I decided to hire P.J. On a friends recommendation. The amount I have learned in 7 months, how laughably easy it is to understand and accomplish I am now down to 240lbs and falling. My strength is getting better even though I’m in a caloric deficit and I LOVE my food because it’s a flexible diet plan you can ultimately redesign into something that suits your own lifestyle and habits and tastes. The amount it costs you to hire him you save in the cost of food because you will know what your eating and have less food waste. If I had my time back I would have hired him a lifetime ago.
