I started my journey with RIPT fitness a year and a half ago. It was truly the best thing I have done. I started with personal training and nutrition consulting. The coaches were great and I learned a lot about proper nutrition. The daily classes focuses on strength training and cardio. The sessions are high energy and move quickly. The time goes so fast. I have loved all the trainers. They have been supportive and always encourage you to work harder. I have gained strength and improved my cardio. It truly has been a great experience. Ript Fitness is a place that I go for the group workouts, the well thought training classes that push you to get stronger and leaner. I used to hate the idea of exercise (except for walking), but I LOVE Ript Fitness. I started going after a neighbor told me about it. My doctor was bugging me that because of my crappy lower back (and to improve bone density) that I needed to do more strength training. The classes are fast-paced and different every time, so you don’t get bored. The instructors are motivating and happy to modify any exercises that don’t work for your body. People of all ages come there. Since I began over a year ago, my back is better, I am stronger, and it’s become a routine I actually enjoy instead of dread. Give it a try!

When I turned 40 I was very happy with the life I built. A loving wife and two amazing children. A new home and a wonderful area in chagrin falls. For the last few years since moving here. I passed Ript fitness everyday wondering “ what in the heck is going on in there?” For the past year my wife was bettering herself going to a gym working out and she fell in love with it. I finally needed to do the same. Because I was always intrigued. I went online and dove into their website. What do they do? How much? What time are the classes ? How and when can I go to class. Get kids to daycare and work? Just a bunch excuses that used to stop me. You know the normal questions a procrastinator would make. I will tell you I have completed 67 total classes and it’s just the BEGINNING. I personally started at 221 lbs and currently am 196.6 lbs. They have programs and classes 7 days a week for the busiest of busy. They have REMOTE training which I didn’t know at first. What a great way to get started. Especially if you aren’t local and can’t get to the gym and or prefer to workout from home.
The best part of it all you aren’t ALONE. The men and women I have met are encouraging, motivating and are now my friends. Not only physically but mentally having people working to better themselves is very up lifting. Now to those that really make a difference. The Trainers. They are committed , kind and truly want you to reach your goals. The classes are fun the music is great. They demonstrate each workout everyday. The classes change so they keep them exciting . The equipment is top notch. They provide nutritional guidance and programs. And there is no reason not to be apart of this. Like I said it’s the BEGINNING. If you want to better yourself, challenge yourself , and or need help. I highly recommend Ript fitness. I will see you at class soon.

Everyone is so nice and you can tell they love what they do and want to help you in whatever way they can. I’m a remote customer but every two weeks we have calls to talk about what we like out of the workout routine and what we don’t as well as what our goals are. I’ve had multiple instances where I wasn’t able to workout for being sick, etc. and they were able to help me adjust afterwards! Genuinely recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to go, or if you’re like me and out of state, it’s worth it to work with them remotely. I like that they focus on little goals and nutrition on top of exercising and they talk to you about why these things are important. It’s overall a 10/10 💪🏻

I randomly stumbled across the RiPT program at the top of the year and can honestly say it has been one of my best decisions of 2023! As a former college athlete, I was concerned about jumping back into workouts and meeting expectations but the trainers have been patient, encouraging, knowledgeable and inspiring!
The gym is always clean, operates up-to-date equipment, tech/apps, and there is a constant glass-half-full infused with a "you can do it!" vibe. The workouts are intense yet concise such that I saw results not only in my RiPT fitness workouts but also in my body, mind, sleeping habits and other extracurricular activities. The program has been ideal for me as there are several options to fit my lifestyle, so that I am able to ensure I make time to workout.

I have worked with various coaches throughout the years, some through a gym and some remotely, and no one has put more thought, time and effort into my programming like Catherine has with RiPT Fitness. I work with her remotely and complete my workouts at home. I also video conference with her every 2 weeks to check in. She is the first coach I've worked with that understands the importance of balance. She focuses on both my mental AND physical well being in order to achieve my goals. This outlook makes the workouts and things we track completely customized to my life style which I have never experienced before working with other coaches/gyms. I know that the entire team at RiPT Fitness truly care about your well being as a person in whole.
I have also taken classes at the facility and they are so much fun and motivating! You're on the move the whole time, music is bumping and all of the coaches and members are so welcoming.

I’ve been a member for almost 6-months now and all I can say is that I have never felt more at home in a gym! The other members are the most friendly, funny, and genuine people I’ve ever met. We joke around with each other like we’re family because we are family. The same can be said for all of the trainers. They are always professional, knowledgeable, and in 100% support of each and every members personal fitness goal.
When I first joined, I felt intimidated that I’d be viewed a “certain way”. I assumed that my goals wouldn’t line up with others. I’m lean and scrawny and was seeking a trainer to help me put on 10-20lbs of weight, rather than lose weight. When I finally committed to an initial 8-week program, my trainer personalized my eating and exercise plan with my exact body type and goals in mind, using both their gym classes, combined with a few off site workouts in my home gym to accommodate my location and travel constraints. She checked in to review my notes from EVERY WORKOUT and adjusted where she saw fit. In my first 8-weeks I was able to gain just under 10-lbs in a healthy and sustainable manner!!! 💪🏻
I can’t recommend RiPT Fitness enough! Sure, it’s another gym full of exercise equipment. But I guarantee you won’t find a better group of trainers or workout partners than you’ll find at RiPT! 🏋️♀️

I joined RiPT 11 months ago. I loved the workout from day one. I worked with one of the health coaches to help educate me about food choices to help fuel my body properly and to help motivate me.
The workouts are awesome! You will never get bored. Each day the workout focuses on a different body part (upper, lower, core, strength...). The workouts are challenging but you are able to work at your own pace and ability. You will definitely sweat and get stronger.
The instructors are motivating and they make sure you are doing the exercises correctly to prevent any injuries or help you modify as needed.
I think most people regardless of age or ability will love the RiPT workout!

Great progress and better programming. I came into Ript Fitness with the less heard of goal of gaining weight and muscle as I was very thin before I started with Ript. I was paired with Dustin Carnish, who is a very knowledgeable, thorough, and helpful person. He helped me create goals and with his guidance I achieved so much. He didn’t just feed me information though, at the beginning I was given some reading assignments from the “Fuel Better Win Big” handbook. This allowed me to understand why I had to start eating this or measuring that, and weighing my food and checking nutrition facts and labels. I started as a 135lbs senior in high school and within the first year with Dustin I put on 50lbs of lean muscle and weight in general. I got more strong than I’d ever thought I could have been. Mentally these changes to my lifestyle, eating habits, and gym progressions I have been formed into a much more confident and happy person. I couldn’t have asked for a better result and have been working super hard ever since I finished with Dustin. Thank you Ript Fitness and Dustin Carnish for you have changed my life.

I had a great 12 week session with the RiPT team! I enjoyed it so much I signed up for a second 12 week session. I loved the personal connection of having a coach assigned to me that I could connect with 24/7 for advice, help and encouragement. They really helped me gain strength and understand what I needed to do to reach my goals. I did the remote program and they were flexible with my busy schedule and tailored my daily routine to accommodate where ever I was or what I was doing that day. 6 month report.
Pushups were very hard at first, doing half or more of the work on my knees and some of the move I did poorly.
I also have a major injury concern.typically when I push myself quickly I hurt something , so I need to take it slow.
What RIPT give me is steady work out, in a time suitable for busy patents. I wake up at 4:30 three times a week. And there by 5:10.
The work out is similar in style but varies a lot day by day. One thirds is weights and floor, third on the curved treadmill and a third on standing ski. But in each part you work on full body with rotating daily focus.
There is no upper body day but there is full body with attention on upper body, or abs or all the other regular things. It is tiring but not exhausting and I really feel the result of my push ups and running and most importantly, sustaining without injury. The team is pushing me to use heavier weights , which I resist based on prior injuries but they still push gently which is good for me. The atmosphere is good, everyone works hard and then go home. You can easily focus on your work.
In the past I tried many other gyms and like some of them, for a time. Some of that stopped with injuries. So the full body focus without burning any specific area is just right for me.,

I gave RiPT another chance after my first negative experience and things were okay. However, the program requires a lot of effort from the person, and the situations I was dealing with in my life didn't afford me the time to devote. The program was ultimately unsuccessful, but that is my fault, not theirs. I was unable to commit in the way that was needed.
However, fair warning to everyone that it is really hard to get a subscription to stop or to get refunded for something you didn't sign up for. I ended my program but continued to get charged. It's been almost 2 weeks since I was told that I would get refunded for 3 charges that were set up as recurring. Today I saw that not only am I not refunded, but I'm being charged again, so now I'll have 4 charges owed back to me.
I tried emailing my old coach as well as calling the phone number listed on Google. My coach said she'd pass on my message but still crickets. No one answered the phone and the mailbox is full so you can't leave a message. At this point, my only recourse seems to be to file a dispute with the company. Sad, but I have tried other avenues and it has not been successful.
I was asked to update my review from my first experience, so here it is. I am still overall unimpressed by the operations of this business. Ript Fitness has been a great, instructor-led workout program.

I joined RiPT Fitness after clicking on a Facebook ad. I had a Zoom call with Dustin (the owner) and got set up with a 6 week meal plan and coach to help me along the way. I am now continuing with doing their classes 3 days a week. I have never enjoyed exercise, but I do like the classes at RiPT! I love how it’s never the same, and I feel like I’m getting a great workout. It’s amazing how much stronger I feel after a few months! The trainers are great too. I love how everyone knows my name and is friendly and encouraging. They are patient for us new clients and helpful. I've been going to RiPT since 2016 and love it! The instructors all have backgrounds in a physical science and make adjustments for your injuries. The workouts are always challenging and the classes are fun. The staff at RiPT fitness is so welcoming and supportive. I have had a great experience with my coach. I lost 12 pounds initially, even with a few overindulgences from the meal plan. Recently I’ve had a few life setbacks where I wasn’t working out and following the meal plan. I gained weight due to binge eating & less activity, but my coach (Tara) has really been supportive non- judgmental and kind. I am looking forward to gaining back lost ground and continuing my healthier lifestyle journey. The program really works & this is coming from a mid 50 year old mom who works a full time job for whom weight loss is more difficult. If you follow the meal plan pretty well and work out 3-4 times a week you will see results, not just weight loss but in muscle tone & strength. The RiPT workouts are very effective. I used to be a member at orange theory and liked it- but when I tried Ript I loved it!!! They are similar concepts but with Ript, you get more personalized instruction and a wider range of workouts. LIFE CHANGING in more ways than expected. I started my RiPT journey just 14 days ago not even sure how I felt about it, definitely not excited, and afraid of failure. I knew that getting in shape and eating better was important but I had not idea the changes that I would witness in just 12 short days. I spend long days behind a desk and have had a series of injuries and surgeries over the past 5 years. Bottom line, I am weak and out of shape. I am here to tell you that IT WORKS! It is not easy nor is it impossible. On the evening of my Day #12 MY DOCTOR TOOK ME OFF OF MY HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE MEDS because I do not need them any longer. Nor do I need the 10.5 pounds that I have shed already! Why is this working when nothing else has? If you’re considering Dustin’s program please take the time to read what I am about to say. I am 33 years old and have spent my entire life being overweight. I actually dropped out of high school my sophomore year due to being bullied for being heavy. I stopped riding horses due to my weight, which was my passion. I often said to myself I’m going to do something about this. I just never delivered. I researched fasting, weight watchers, south beach… you name it I convinced myself I was going to try it. Although that’s just the thing I never did follow through with anything. Back in late October I came across one of Dustin’s Facebook ads. It intrigued me as I had just started about a month ago using my peloton bike I purchased. I had a mutual friend with Dustin and I asked her if she would recommend Dustin. She spoke extremely highly of him and his program. I decided I would send a message. That’s when my life changed forever. I met with Dustin he took his time with me, never made me feel uncomfortable due to my size or lack of knowledge when it comes to anything healthy. Once I met with Dustin, I explained to him that there is absolutely no way I will attend a work out class until I feel I can keep up. He was understanding and respectfully urged me to do so. I of course did not. He developed a plan for me, and my goals. He outlined a complete program for me, down to my daily calories, peloton workouts, in home workouts and even a planet fitness workout. Not only did he do that for me, he knew I was uncomfortable coming into the class setting with what I felt would be full of a bunch of extremely healthy and fit people who wouldn’t welcome me (so far from the truth) Dustin actually joined me at planet fitness and worked out with me and showed me how to use the machines properly. HE DID THIS ON HIS OWN TIME! Who does that? Dustin does. He has 100% been my accountability partner through out this journey. I have now seen my body change in ways I never imagined possible. To be honest I always wanted bariatric surgery, my husband’s insurance wouldn’t cover it. I used to see that as a curse, when really It was a blessing. Since the end of October, I am down about 50lbs and cant even keep up with the inches. I have not even had the urge to “cheat” and eat unhealthy for the holidays, or cheat days. Dustin has changed my life, and I can’t urge you enough that if you are trying to become healthy… TALK TO HIM. I am in no way “rewarded” for my review I just really want to share my story because if you knew me before October…. You would know what a complete life style change this is for me. About a month ago Dustin asked me to come to one class, he made that a goal. I accepted. I took Tara’s Sunday morning class. She was amazing, the class was amazing, the workout was INCREDIBLE. I had never seen such a high number for calories burned for me. It felt good, actually it felt amazing. Since then I have committed to 3-4 morning classes a week. I can’t get enough! I supplement with my peloton now. Dustin heard me that day we met, he made me feel as though my health is just as important to him as it is to myself and my family. I am crushing my goals, sure there are days I struggle a bit with my calorie counting but I am in this to get to my goal! Dustin, his team, his program is second to none. I recently finished the 42-Day RiPT Experience and I am feeling so good right now!
I had been taking yoga and pilates for years and just wasn't seeing the results that I wanted to see. After deciding to leave me gym last summer, I was trying to find a good fit for my schedule and wallet. My friend brought up RiPT to me and introduced me to the 6 week challenge they were offering. I was a little reluctant, however Dustin and his team really encouraged me right from the second I walked in. They were there to help and lead the way. The program mapped everything out for me and made it super easy to follow meal plans with the shopping list and separate calendars for each week. The gym also offered plenty of classes at different times during the day that I could choose from. Even when I was hitting low points, everyone working at the gym was there to lift me back up and encourage me to keep going. BEST DECISION I'VE MADE! I have struggled with my weight for 15 years. Ever since I had kids I just couldn't get back to where I was. I had tried many different workouts and diets. Many were temporary successes. Then, I saw an ad on Facebook for the RiPT Fitness 42 day challenge. I have never been happier that I made that call!
I met with Dustin who talked with me about my goals and challenges. I've never been a group workout person. I prefer to workout at home. No problem! Dustin sent me personalized workouts throughout the 42 day challenge. They were challenging but doable. It also came with a meal plan to follow. It's not a diet, it's a true lifestyle change. I am somewhat of a picky eater but followed the plan easily. It's work, it's commitment, but it's AMAZING! I feel healthier and happier!!! Which is the added bonus to the pounds, inches and body fat I lost.
I am not where I want to be yet. It's only been 42 days. So I am looking forward to the next phase of my journey with Dustin and RiPT. I think I'll have to try the group classes in this next phase because every time I'm there and there's a class going on, they look like they are loving it!

I cannot tell you how this gym and the trainers have changed my life. I have been struggling with my weight and confidence since the birth of my youngest, 5 years ago. I have gone up and down in weight and could not find a program that I was truly accountable to.
I saw an ad on Facebook about a 42 day challenge and I was nervous b/c it sounded hard, but it also sounded like it was going to make me face exactly what was going on with my body. At the point I was at, which was my heaviest, I knew I had to be done. I knew I had to work on getting healthy to prevent health issues. I was too young for that, and I finally made the decision to try it.
I called Dustin while I was on vacation with my family and he immediately made me feel comfortable and hopeful which was strange b/c it was the first time I had spoken to him. I met with him the day after I got back from vacation.
My initial meeting was actually super emotional b/c as I mentioned early, I had to face where I was. Dustin measured me, weighed me, but most importantly, Dustin talked to me about my goals and my future. It was hard to face, but had to take a look at exactly where I was so that I can see where I wanted to be. And Ript Fitness and Dustin did that for me. I truly felt hopeful that this could all change with their support.
I followed the 42 day plan and within 42 days I lost 16 pounds and 16 inches and close to 4% body fat. I have continued on the program with
another goal that I look forward to meeting. I would NOT have been able to do this without Ript. I am in contact with Dustin every couple of days for accountability and he coaches me on my nutrition and sends me my workouts.
I am a mom of 2 and work full time and this program is the best I have ever tried. This program is NOT a diet, but a healthy lifestyle change. There is absolutely no way to fail on their program unless you do not put the work in.

Being a confident guy, I've always been certain that I could just pick the fitness and health portion of my life back up whenever I decided it was time. Unfortunately, after 15 years of saying "I'm gonna do it", I came to the realization that this was not the case and I needed something to give me a push. I saw an ad on facebook for a "42-day Challenge" at Ript Fitness and am extremely glad that I followed up on it. After taking my measurements, weight, and vitals, they set me up on a program to workout 3-5 days a week, gave me a meal plan to follow, and proceeded to check in with me on a regular basis throughout the week. The workouts can be TOUGH (I didn't think that I was going to make it through my first one) and the meal plan can be tedious, but the results are undeniable.
After my six weeks on the program, I checked in having lost 17lbs, 5.1% body fat, 1" around my neck, and 5" around my waist and I still have yet to mention the BEST part of the whole experience! The classes and staff are small enough to provide you with the personal attention that you need and a community atmosphere that makes you feel welcome. When you walk in, EVERYONE knows your name and are happy you're there. Every single member of the staff is absolutely AMAZING! My first workout was difficult and I was dreading day two, but now I not only look forward to the workout, but to mingle with the staff and other classmates as well. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I don't often write reviews but when I do, it is because something is truly special and fantastic and this place and its trainers deserve all the praise in the world!
When I walked into Ript back in June, I was truly defeated. I had been trying to lose weight for the past 2 1/2 years with little progress. (I had gained a significant amount of weight about 5 years ago due to stress and workout injuries). I was doing everything "right"...I went to my doctor, saw a nutritionist, worked out with a personal trainer, tried different workout programs, rehabbed my sports injuries, etc., but it always seemed that something was missing from my routine to help me reach my goals. I didn't have a cohesive program and I always had questions going unanswered. THEN, I asked for help from Dustin Carnish and the trainers at Ript to get me on track and I am FINALLY reaching my goals! You get the whole package here...awesome, caring, and knowledgeable trainers, a fun, energetic atmosphere, dynamic and varied workouts, and constant support and encouragement from everyone at Ript. Discovering RiPT was a happy accident! I had been wanting something "more" from my workouts but had no idea where to go. The first time I tried RiPT, I felt welcomed and even though I had never done interval training before, the trainers were extremely encouraging and helpful.

Dustin and Amy are terrific. Dustin and Patrick (trainers) focus in on my technique with each exercise making sure I'm doing it right so I get the most out of it. This just doesn't even make any sense. Clever name though "Christian Prayer" 😂 No Christian would speak like that. Anyway. I looooove RIPT! It is a place where you can find wonderful caring trainers who are knowledgeable, certified, trustworthy, welcoming, kind, and will get you great results. I've belonged to many gyms and programs and worked with many trainers. This is by far the best fitness bang for cardio, strength and obtaining health goals. Sorry for the haters! (They clearly have the wrong gym) Love ya Dustin and Amy ( Trophy wife, you hot momma) and love your whole staff!!

I love working out but I always have a hard time knowing what to do on my own. So, when I get back home from school, I started looking for a gym to attend and most places I looked at did not have any classes, they were just open gyms. After talking to some people, I found RiPT Fitness and at my first class, I fell in love with the stye of workouts. Every trainer pushes you to do the best that you can do. They are helping me reach goals I only wished of meeting! On top of the amazing trainers, the people who attend RiPT are all so kind, so when you go workout you know that you have other people right next to you helping to push you and cheer you on. Overall RiPT Fitness is an amazing gym to be apart of and I highly recommend it for everyone!

I took my free week back in March and the bought the 30 class special. I have never had the same workout. 45 minutes has never gone so fast. The instructors are well trained and keep me motivated the whole time. Amy, the manager is very nice and always has time to answer questions . I am so happy I found Ript! Take your free class you have nothing to loose, except maybe inches and weight!

Amazing place to workout! I was hooked after the first class. The classes help increase speed, endurance and strength. The trainers and staff are motivational and educated to help clients meet their goals. My main reason for loving this place is that the workouts are never the same.

I don't give five stars out lightly, and when it comes to my workouts, I am very picky. Having said that, I would gladly recommend RiPT Fitness. Their workouts are well designed, and the atmosphere encourages people to push hard and get results.
I especially like the Woodway treadmills that they use. Being non-motorized, they provide a more realistic, more functional running experience. Their ergonomic design also provides a low-impact workout, which is excellent for people with joint issues.

What isn't there to say about RiPT Fitness? It is hands down, one of the best workouts around. In addition to the heart pounding, limit pushing, sweat dripping, breathtaking experiences, these are great instructors, certified and very knowledgeable. They are able to help get you to maximize both your intensity and output. Throw in some of the personal training, and you have the full fitness spectrum of healthy living. Everyone from Dustin, Amy, Nate, Alex, Eric and Shalom are the nicest most approachable people who are there to serve their clients, and make each and every one of them better. They will construct an individualized plan of attack that not only is effective, but is fun, and they never let it get boring. They will offer any support one may need be it nutrition, supplements or motivation. After all, it's not just about looking good, but about feeling good. You are only shorting yourself if you don't fit RiPT into your routine.

I have been to both locations of RIPT Fitness, Beachwood and Bainbridge, and I can honestly say it's the best workout I've ever had. I have always been skeptical of any organized workout and trainers in general. Why do I need such structure and motivation? But I can tell you, the methods that Dustin Carnish uses to maximize your workout are amazing! Seeing your progress, heartbeat, and stats in real time on a screen in front of you is incredibly useful and motivating. And working out side-by-side with other people also gives you something extra. I found myself tiring on the treadmill, but with 4 other people still running next to me, I did not want to be the only one who quit. If I had been at home, I'm sure I would have stopped. That's the difference....
I can't recommend RIPT enough. And if you go to Bainbridge, they have a very cool Fresh Bar, smoothies and all-natural products, ready in an instant.
