Row House UA is a wonderful place to workout. All of the coaches are very knowledgeable and motivating, and the members are friendly and inviting. I love getting a workout in at Row House Upper Arlington! A friend introduced me to it at a time when I was looking for new workout options. I've been combining Pilates with Row House and it's the perfect combination for me. I get a great cardio and strength training workout in and there's a wide variety of class formats and instructors to choose from. I highly recommend you give it a try!

Original review: The Upper Arlington RowHouse is awesome. Everyone is so welcoming and the classes have a great energy. While hard, everything is modifiable and adjusting the effort put in is always an option. All the coaches are great, Coach MJ and Coach Olivia are my favorite.

I’ve been a member for nearly two years and still can’t say enough positive things about Row House UA. I love that the classes incorporate both rowing and floor work with weights - if you want to focus on classes with more weights, take Strength. Want to increase endurance? Go for Intervals. Also a solid 10/10 to the ever-changing playlists (which you can download on Spotify!) and dimmed room lighting (helps to hide my beet red face :)). Every instructor brings their own personality and energy to the class as they row along aide you. If you’re thinking of giving it a try, do it!

Great rowing studio that incorporates rowing on the erg with floor work using your body weight or hand weights (the ratio of rowing to floor exercises vary by class format). Great class for all levels and ages. The coaches, owner, and staff are knowledgeable and encouraging. I love the variety and humor of the theme rows. The studio is in the back of the center (across from Original Pancake House) and visible with plenty of parking.

I took Helene’s class at Row House Upper Arlington as a first-timer and absolutely loved it! She took time at the beginning to help me with form, which made me feel super comfortable and confident. I loved that we paced with her the entire workout — her energy and motivation were contagious! I love that they send you your class stats afterward, so you can see your progress and celebrate your effort. It was such a fun and empowering workout. I travel a lot, but I’ll 100% be back whenever I’m near a Row House Fitness location. Highly recommend!

As a tennis instructor & player, finding a workout that is fun, low impact (injury prevention) and works ALL of the body (like tennis does!) has been a game-changer! The rowing works the core unbelievably and the weight workout portion rotates in new exercises often. It also mimics the anaerobic breathing that tennis has. I look forward to going here each week and recommend it to anyone wanting to add something different to their conditioning routine!

I have been going to Row House for almost 2 years now after trying a free class. I was NOT a ‘group fitness” person but I felt so comfortable after just one class that I was hooked. I love Row House. I finally found a workout that's fun and works out multiple parts of my body at once. It's nice doing a class because you all push each other but still go at your own pace. There are people of all shapes, ages, and sizes so you never feel left out. I'm not the fittest person, but I always feel welcome. The instructors all have their own personalities and are easy to follow along. You can adapt the workout to your fitness level. For someone like me who needs motivation to work out, it has been awesome. I buy a package of 4 row sessions a month and also supplement my fitness at a local gym a few days of the week. I am finally sticking to a workout and I'm very grateful for all the positive and inclusive people at the Row House.

Row House is a great full body workout. It’s low impact but you still get cardio, strength, and core. All the coaches are excellent and motivate you to push yourself even on days when you’re not really feeling it but you signed up, so you show up. The next thing you know you’ve completed the class because the formats make time fly by and prevent it from becoming monotonous. The class prices are a deal for the quality, and results. In addition, the facility is very clean.

Great class! Logan is a knowledgeable and enthusiastic instructor. Good at timing cues and rhythm changes, and gave me useful feedback on technique in the first class. Hard to see the stretches sometimes (depending on where you are in the space). Overall a solid and positive workout.

Really a great experience. I came for the free class with little expectation for signing up for any ongoing sessions since I live an hour away, but it was such a great …and fun….workout (I’ll be sore tomorrow for sure!). Count me in! Paid for 10 more sessions for both my daughter and me!

I have been rowing at Row House Upper Arlington for the past year and it has been an amazing experience! It is the best low impact but high intensity work out for me (as someone who has had multiple knee surgeries). The work outs are a blast and go by so quickly. The atmosphere is welcoming and there is a great sense of camaraderie- particularly when everyone is rowing in swing. All of the coaches are positive and supportive I love the community and feel strong, confident and accomplished after each session.

I first started coming to Row House in summer 2022 as I was feeling in a rut about my workout schedule and wanted to throw something new in the mix. Fast forward to end of 2023 and I made a new best friend (s/o coach Olivia), have rowed over 450K meters, and continue to find new ways to challenge myself-whether it be using a heavier weight, holding an exercise just a little bit longer, or getting a new PR on my split time. Cannot recommend enough!

During the pandemic before the UA location was even built I was politely encouraged to become a member and it has helped me so much! I have been lucky enough to actually enjoy exercising, love myself more and make some friendships that I am beyond thankful for. Logan is not only an amazing coach but also my friend! Logan is inspiring, thoughtful and I could not recommend anyone else to be the lead coach! This is a very transitional time for Rowhouse, Logan has supported me and he’s already taking action to make this time of change a versatile and inclusive experience.

My first Row House experience was phenomenal!
Nikki greeted me as I walked in the door and made me feel welcomed! Logan, the coach of my class, took the time to get to know a little about me before class, got me set up on the erg and went over the basics with me.
The class was fun and a great workout! I could definitely see adding rowing to my weekly workout routine with Row House.

Row House is the BEST full body workout that uses 86% of your muscles. I never worked out before I came across Row House. I’ve now been rowing for over 2 years and I absolutely love it! Rowing has totally changed my life and my health too! The instructors are all top notch and are so motivating and fun! And we all row in swing together to awesome music, so what’s not to love? The 45 minute classes fly right by! And we also incorporate weights and strength training, so it’s the best of both worlds. It’s low impact and it’s an effort based machine, so what you give is what you get. It’s great for all ages and all levels. If I can do it, anyone can! Come give it a try! First class is FREE!

It was such a fun and uplifting experience with Niki. I am aLicensed Massage Therapist with a NASM Personal Training Certificate and Corrective Exercise Specialist Certificate. I work at The Winchester Institute of Chiropractic Health and Wellness in Dublin Ohio and I truly value her interval training on Wednsday mornings at 6 am.
In order for me to provide 5 star health and wellness services and consistent care with excellence I am making her class a weekly addition to my own health and wellness regimine.
It unwinds my forward head and shoulder posture from pushing and pouring my heart and soul all day. The morning after an 8 hour day her interval training on the row machine helps unwind all that repetitive motion and helps rebalance my hips from the detrimental fallout of weak glutes and hamstrings. Throughout the class you get off the machine and perform powerful full body exercises which helps reconnect me to my core strength and build a stronger me so I can be there for others.
Thank you so much to Niki and the Upper Arlington Row House crew for such a wonderful experience. I look forward to achieving new heights through you.

I love Row House!
Row House Upper Arlington is the gym I frequent the most. They make you feel part of the community whether you are a member or not. I love all the new events that have been happening with the new ownership as well! Niki and Logan are my absolute faves but all their coaches are pretty great.

I went to my first Row House class today - it was a lot of fun and also challenging. MJ was a very welcoming instructor! She spent 5-10 min with me before class getting me set up on the rower, explaining the class structure, and ensuring my form was solid. The studio was really nice. The lights and music were fun for the glow stick Halloween theme! Would recommend if you’re looking for a fun and different type of workout!

Membership warning! They get you when you need to cancel. I have an injury forcing me to stop. Long story short - I still have to pay them for 2 months before I can end for freeze my account. That’s a lot of $ for no workouts! DON’T GET A MEMBERSHIP!

I have been a member at Row House for one month now and I have already noticed a major difference in my body. The workouts are intense and challenging, but also incredibly fun and with motivating music! The facilities at Row House are also top-notch. The studio is clean, spacious, and well-maintained.
