My favorite hot Yoga Studio in Cincinnati. I enjoy how the darker room allows you to listen to your intuition and body rather than mimic a pose. The lavender towel at the end is a great reward! Floor to Flow is my favorite class and great for beginners. If you love assists and cues Emiline’s class will be your favorite ❤️

My friend and I were visiting from out of town and dropped in a Sunday morning class. We were warmly welcomed at the door and shown about the studio. Emily was a wonderful teacher, giving clear direction and modification options for asanas. The music added so much to the experience! I will definately practice at Sage Yoga whenever I am in town!

Sage is the most inclusive yoga studio in the area- I found my practice here many years ago and loved it so much I went through yoga teacher training to became an instructor. All bodies and yogi levels are welcome and celebrated in these candlelit rooms. Come experience the magic that is Sage soon!

I visited Sage Yoga on Sunday morning (early enough to navigate the parking situation since the class description said there was plenty of street parking) and encountered several frustrating issues. First, there was no available street parking at all, so I had to pay $4 per hour at Findlay Market. Upon arriving at the studio, I found a confusing sign on the main door saying the Sage Pilates class was “a door down.” However, since the studio is on a corner, I tried both neighboring doors, but both were locked. Given the locked doors, I assumed the class might have been canceled, but I didn’t receive any notification about this.
The lack of clear instructions, especially regarding actual parking and where exactly the class was held, was disappointing. I would hate to be charged $12 on ClassPass for this level of confusion. If you plan to visit, make sure to read reviews beforehand or give yourself plenty of time, patience, and money to navigate the expensive parking and unclear directions.

I used to have the unlimited membership to this studio when I lived in Cincinnati summer of 2022. I still think about it sometimes and I wish I had this studio near me.

Generally, I love the instructors and the vibe of the dark and moody yoga room but… they pack people in like sardines with only a few inches between other mats on all sides. I was kicked in the face by the person in front of me in a class, and I have never been through a class without someone bumping into me. It really brings down the experience. I wish they’d value the experience of customers over maximizing profit

I dropped in for a power hot yoga class with Jess during a weekend trip to Cincinnati. It was the best in person yoga experience I've had. Jess was a PHENOMENAL instructor and it was a wonderfully intense experience. The signup experience was nice and simple compared to other yoga studios as well. Definitely the spot to stop by for a drop in or if you're looking for a good spot to consistently go to. Thanks team!

The owner of this studio is one of the rudest people I’ve ever met. The customer service and attitude from her are shocking as the owner of a yoga studio. Read the reviews and responses to better understand my point.

Sage is the first yoga studio I’ve ever been a part of, and I can’t imagine going anywhere else! I started out completely new to yoga, and still felt the classes were easy to follow. The candlelit rooms eased my anxiety and really helped me to focus/listen rather than be self conscious. I have been a regular unlimited member for over a year now and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. Love this space and these humans!

Sage Yoga is a true gem. The staff are excellent teachers who bring a sense of calm and light-heartedness to class. For those who are worried about it being too hot, yes! It does get warm. But if I ever feel overwhelmed or overheated during class I lay down and compose myself and then if need be I just quietly get up and get some water.

I like the location and they offer a cold washcloth at the end which is so soothing! I do find most of the evening classes are done by faux-candlelight an it can be very difficult to follow the instructor or the safe/proper way to do moves. The music can also be kind of loud if the instructor isn't mindful. That said, it's still a great studio and I've felt everyone is very friendly and inviting. I recommend you try a class, you'll probably love it!

I had been to this studio a few times last year, but recently attended a special sound bath session on a Sunday and had the most caring and calming experience. I'd had someone break into my car the evening prior and definitely arrived at the studio with some anxious energy; spilled a complimentary cocoa packet, over-apologized, all the fun stuff that happens when you feel "off." The ladies running the workshop were SO kind and patient, and I left the 75 minute experience feeling totally accepted and peaceful. Thanks again to the beautiful folx who run this space (and the equally gorgeous location across the river!)

Really loved the yoga here but after some rude communication from management I don’t feel comfortable going back :/
Edit: I didn’t want a refund- I wanted help with my mind body account so I could register for classes and I was basically told not to come back? This is the weirdest customer service I’ve ever experienced.
Happy new year to you, too!

No advertisement on low/dim candlelight only lighting in the yoga studio. This sets a dangerous intention for those who get light headed, dizzy, or vertigo easily. Temperature went up to 102F when it was advertised to be at 85F.

There are few words to describe just how wonderful Sage is! After 7 years of doing CrossFit my body was tired and morning workouts were loud and intense. Sage is a breath of fresh air. The instructors are warm and welcoming, each with their own style. Classes are held in a dark space which personally makes me feel much more comfortable than other studios. There’s no judgement no matter your body type or how you choose to participate in each practice. There is no better feeling than that icy cold lavender towel on my forehead at the end of each class! I’d recommend Sage for any level yogi.

one star review because of the mean communication from the studio. Basically, I signed up for a morning yoga class, on the class description, it says 95-100. However, it was 104 in the room when I arrived, and as a newbie I almost passed out. I had to step out and leave. However, there was in the lobby at that moment, and I did not know what to do beside going home so I can get some rest. I did go back that morning and apologize for leaving earlier and had the door unlocked. I even asked what was the best way to handle the situation. However, in the late afternoon, I got a massage from the store, and complaining about me leaving earlier and putting other people at risk. I am pretty sure that is not a good business communication, since I have already apologized in the morning. Very upset experience for me, please only go if you are an experienced yogi :/

I love this studio. I prefer hot yoga/heated studio, so I’m thrilled to have it in the city. It isn’t a big chain yoga studio so the teachers really get to flex their skills and make the class their own, which keeps the classes fresh and it means you learn more from them. They offer cool wet towels at the end, which is a lovely touch. I also appreciate that their blocks and props for class are nice and kept clean. 🧘🏼♀️ I recommend to anyone whether you’ve had a practice for years or are just trying it out.

This studio is everything it claims to be: inclusive and community-oriented, with stellar classes & just the right amount of dry heat. Every kind of body at every level is genuinely welcome, the instructors are accessible and real, and the classes are held in a dark, candlelit studio - a beautiful way to encourage you to enjoy the energy of the room, yet go inside yourself and make the practice your own. Covid safety measures are adhered to, and parking isn't much of an issue. I'm beyond glad I gave them a try - I live in the neighborhood, and I've found my home studio!

Stopped in for a drop in class on a Sunday afternoon and it was wonderful! I had Amanda as an instructor, and she led a flow the whole class enjoyed and was challenging, yet allowed for space to breathe. Sage was adamant about Covid precautions and I felt very safe, welcomed and rejuvenated. I’ll be back!
