About the Club

Schlegel Training is owned and operated by Kara Schlegel, founder of Mama Fit USA. Kara a certified Menopause and Pre-Postnatal Coaching Specialist (CSMC & CPPC), a Family Life Specialist, and a seasoned coach. Within her scope of practice, Kara is equipped to lead and coach in the areas of women's anatomy and physiology, mental health, nutrition, exercise and program design, and recovery. Using her knowledge and experience, Kara has dedicated much of her time and energy into building a place for women to feel safe, encouraged and supported when they need it most. Kara is an advocate for women in all seasons of life, and her mission is to educate and empower her clients throughout their health and wellness journey.

I recently finished a 10 week training session with Kara and I can’t wait for the next small group training cycle to begin! As a mom of 2 toddlers it’s challenging to get out of the house for a workout, but I was ready to get out of my comfort zone and get back into a gym setting. I joined Schlegel Training for a 8 week core strength training. I wanted to check and see how it will be and I was not sure if I can do it but Kara made it possible. Now I wanted to continue my work out without stopping. She is a wonderful person and I personally like the way she plans the every hour of workouts. I never did weights in my whole life but within couple of weeks I could able to do 22lbs.. it was a pretty surprise to myself, I couldn't believe that I could do it. I have worked with many trainers throughout the years, and by far, Kara is one of the best. In 2019, I found myself not only plateaued but gaining weight and losing strength.
