My experience at Scott Retta fitness was incredible. Scott is very attentive to my injury history, my goals, and what is practical for me. He is extraordinarily knowledgably about what he does and careful guides me through exercises so that I receive the most benefit and avoid injury. He is great at pushing me to my goals without pressuring me.

Scott was extremely helpful from the second I walked in the door. He made sure to inquire about any injury history I have had or am currently dealing with and adjusted my training plan accordingly to account for any strength imbalances I currently have. As someone who has been lifting for a number of years, I was surprised by how many improvements Scott found in my form that I would have never noticed on my own. Overall, Scott impressed me by creating a personalized training plan for me and he was very enjoyable to work with throughout the entire process.

Scott is awesome! He really helped me not only to get back into the gym but also to do it in a safe manner and helped rehab my back. I herniated 2 discs in my back and was bedridden for a month. After physical therapy and chiropractic care helped me get better I was cleared to start working out again. Scott really made sure we started slow and made every effort and accomodation I needed for my back/legs. Didn't hesitate to modify some exercises and workouts as to not reinjure my back but still pushed me hard. He even added several exercises to workouts specifically to strengthen my back/core/legs that i had never done before and it definitely helped the recovery from the injury. 5/5 I highly recommend him. He's a great guy and understanding trainer

I have been training with Scott for 3 years now. Before I signed up for training I assumed it would have to be super hard and every set would take every ounce of effort I had. But with Scott  he knows exactly how to make sure I put in the perfect amount of intensity for me to build muscle. I'm 63 years old and thanks to his coaching I can bench 170lb for sets of 3, deadlift 205lb for sets of 3, hip thrust 235lb for sets of 3, and chest supported barbell row 135lb for sets of 3. He's been great at encouraging me when I hit PRs as well as encouraging me when I fail the goal for the workout. Any time I have an ache or pain he is quick to use corrective exercises to rehabilitate it.

Scott is highly knowledgeable and has a strong fitness background that led to his certification. He cares about his individual clients and spends time learning about their goals. I'm personally working to become a stronger rock climber, and Scott has taken steps to provide me a unique exercise routine to build upon proper muscle groups specific to climbing. From day one of working with him, I'm confident that Scott can create a training plan that will fit anyone's needs.

If you're like me and see the importance of getting good value out of the money you're putting towards your fitness, I think Scott is far above the competition. You won't find many rates more competitive than Scott's, yet you will still find the experience to be of exceptionally high quality. Scott has a lot going for him in his work and I genuinely believe anyone who is looking for a trainer can't go wrong getting in contact with him!

Great experience! Scott makes sure that I thoroughly understand the form of every exercise, especially since I've dealt with injuries in the past. He came up with a great routine for me, and helped me swap out a couple exercises after a few weeks for substitutes to better mold my routine to the availability of equipment at the local gym I use. Super nice guy, too. Definitely recommend!

Scott is very professional, and truly cares about each of his clients. He makes sure that every exercise that you do, is done correctly to maximize efficiency and decrease injury. He is extremely flexible when it comes to exercises I did/did not want to do, and his understanding of health is top tier. Scott himself is a great man, and will make you feel very welcome.

For the two years I have been going to the gym regularly. I even started doing some personal training two or three times a week. At first I had multiple trainers, some I really liked, but none were as good as Scott. Scott is the best personal trainer but also so much more. He is a friend and someone I 100% can trust with my body and my health. I wanted to give him a huge shout out for really changing my life and getting me back and better than where I was before surgery. These past two years he has been able to transform my life inside and out of the gym. If anyone is looking for some help on bettering themselves or just getting into the gym, Scott Retta Fitness is right for you

Scott is the most personal and dedicated trainer I have ever had. He will adjust workout to your physical need and capability. Truly, though he is a friend as well as a trainer. He cares about my life outside of the gym.

I have seen gains from attending Scott’s gym. It also feels good to not just give a huge chunk of money to a big name gym and give it to a local business. I highly recommended Scott!!

Scott offers great value - his knowledge of fitness and the body really help you understand how to improve your form and train safe. Other things I like compared to my previous trainers - his music, good positive encouragement but also pushing to the max I can handle, he keeps good data, and is easy going. He also has been going the extra mile to keep his setup really covid safe

I’ve had the privilege to know Scott since he began pursuing a career in personal training. From the beginning, Scott has demonstrated unsurpassed motivation for his profession. He achieved his certification for training in a much shorter time than expected and quickly found work in the field. After gaining plenty of experience training people of all walks of life, he took further initiative and began his own gym because he knew he could give them a more personal experience for a better deal than he could working for larger gyms.

By working with Scott now for over 3 months, coming 2-3 days a week, I have been able to surpass any strength I had gained working on my own or with friends. The workouts are challenging and set a good pace of growth. Scott always has a person’s safety in mind, asking for feedback at appropriate times and then tailoring the workout based on how you are progressing that day. His communication, in general, is exceptional especially regarding availability, feedback during workouts, and payments. If you are looking for a trainer that wants what is best for you, certainly give Scott a call or an email.
