this gym used to be like a second home to me, like a second family, I grew up in this gym transforming my body for over 4 years here, I knew almost every person in this gym by name. yet they banned me with no warnings or explanation and yet when I tried to contact the owner AND the manager I got no response, as far as customer service goes I feel disgusted, the countless heart to heart conversations i’ve had with the staff/community in this gym and yet they felt no need to even respond to me after 4 years! I just find it extremely rude and disrespectful to throw away a loyal customer of over 4 years treating that place like my home and trying only my best in this gym. it is a good gym and good community overall but just don’t be surprised if they just ban you one day with no warning or even a simple conversation explaining what was done wrong or how you could correct your mistake for the future. here’s some footage of me literally growing up in this gym 3 years apart.

It's 1053.. im leaving the gym...
I was called out by the front desk lady today for parking in a parking spot for another business that wasn't even open!

In the middle of my workout she was very clearly agitated and decided it was appropriate to vacuum around me during my work out. She shuts the vacuum off to talk with other members. All I can hear is her loudly and profanely talk down upon the younger generation for "feeling entitled" (this is probably the 10th time ive heard her talking down upon people and I really dont come here that often let alone to show up and hear someother womans opinion. People dont want to hear this stuff while they are trying to work on themselves)...

Today was one of many unpleasant experiences that did not sit with me well. The vibe in this gym is getting toxic due the way things are being approached.

When I signed up here It was explained I shouldn't park in these parking spaces during business hours per the business owner's requests from Snap fitness and the new gaming place. I will have you know I checked the city of garettsville parking policies and when you can be ticketed for an ordinance. This instance of me parking here outside of business hours was not on the docket sweets. So if both businesses would like to enact an ordinance for the parking by all means, attend a board meeting and get it moving but im pretty sure if youre leasing that is not something that will happen. The lady at the front desk put up a sign after all of this saying not to park in the other spots of the other businesses. I took a picture for reference and plan to share where ever I can. I also took a picture of the hours for the new gaming business which stated they weren't open until noon today. 🤔

I know after today and my other Bad experiences, I won't be returning to this location and more than likely won't give my money to business that is supporting demeaning the younger generations...we are responsible for showing them how it's done and today's customer service in a small time gym was SUBPAR...I dont come here to cause a fuss. I come here to make others aware of the stereotyping that is blatantly going on. This is a business...remember your customers don't need you...im one of them from a some what younger generation who is very aware of my rights and very aware of how to find out what is and isn't illegal. So I must say

"No thank you Garettsville Snap". I appreciate these last 8 months of coming here intermittently but you have some work to do on your own demeanor lady. Social skills 2/10!

For the record, you could always park further away from the building to please your customers and allow them the front parking spot you always park in. 🤷🏽‍♀️ but hey what do I know being younger...

What I can share is the equipment here is is alright definitely not the best. But it works so there's that.

I will also say I get super grossed out smelling the cleaners they use here. It's smells like ant spray.

The worst part is the front desk lady's approach to people she doesn't know at all. Stereotyping people only causes problems.

I love the fact that they are open 24 hours so you can fit a workout into your schedule. The staff works hard to keep the place clean. They are also working hard to be able to offer classes.

Stopped working out here when it became a place for social fitness rather than physical. Lots of waiting around on 20 somethings jaw jacking to get to equipment unless you want to go workout at midnight. I'm 39 and have learned serious results come from serious training. I go to the YMCA. Most of the time I have the weight room to myself and honestly it's better equipment than Snap. I also like flipping the tire up the sledding hill. It's a beast. The set hours are actually nice because it helps me be disciplined to get to the gym.

It's a very nice gym the only things I dislike is how cold the have the gym an music slection. But here or there I bring my own head phones and dress like it's fall time. Its Very clean facility.

I've been a member for almost a year and will continue. The club is always clean and the machines are always working, never broke. The best part is they are open 24 hours 7 days a week!
