I’ve been a member for over ten years. The staff (CJ and Phillip) do an amazing job of keeping the gym clean and are extremely helpful and kind. The older equipment is constantly being replaced with brand new. If you’re looking for a friendly and clean gym with a wonderful atmosphere then SnapFitness (Grandview) is where you need to be. I HIGHLY recommend!!

I have been going to this gym for quite a while and I loved it, the place is clean, the equipment is updated and always working, and the staff rocks. I recently had to cancel my membership and move on to a gym that is closer to my house, however, I realized that I made a mistake and I like the opportunity to workout whenever I want. All that to say, I reached back out and got a hold of the Grandview location and reapplied and they welcomed me back with open arms. I am a snap fitness member for life!

I've been a member for several years and cannot recommend this gym enough. The staff and other members are friendly and courteous. Phil and CJ are awesome and take the time to acknowledge every member by name when they arrive. Truly some of the best customer experience I've received at a gym.

It's also clean and a great choice for people looking for a less crowded gym. I'll miss coming here and wish there was a location close to where I'm moving!

This is a great gym! Lots of gyms like to say they offer a personal touch to their members, but the Snap at Grandview walks the walk as well. The employees of this gym actually take the time to know you by name and create a personal relationship with you. They truly care about your fitness journey at Snap.

I even had a personal trainer here named CJ. He was great. CJ is very knowledgeable and was so patient with me as he created a workout routine personalized to me. I continue to use this workout routine to this day and have gotten amazing results with it. I knew I could reach out to CJ whenever I had questions and went above and beyond helping me with my routine even if we weren't on the clock.

This is a great gym! Definitely recommend if you are new to working out and want to work with a personal trainer. The 24/7 access is a nice touch and they have a lot of great machines. The only downside is the parking lot it is quite small. That is only an issue during the "New year, new me" gym rush and the beginning of the year.

Really have enjoyed my experiences at Snap Fitness, particularly at the Grandview location. Phil is the man. He's always looking for ways to improve the place. They just added in a bunch of new treadmills, and they are still looking to improve. I mentioned the need for another cable machine and Phil was very receptive to the idea. He just wants to make the gym enjoyable and beneficial for everyone, which is exactly what you want in a gym membership.

Peak hours can get busy, especially for those driving to the gym as there is limited parking, but if you just go in the mornings or off-peak hours, it's easy to find a spot.

Great gym! My normal gym hours were between ~noon-4pm, at which time it was never too busy. I was always able to get in my workout without needing to skip any exercises. Plenty of equipment, including smith machine as well as normal barbell rack.

The only complaint I have about this gym is the manager that sits at the front desk, Philip. He sits at the Grandview and short north locations. As I was leaving the short north location, he was blocking the exit to the gym, and I waited for him and said excuse me multiple times and then after he moved over he opened the door and then said "after you". In which I quickly slipped out the door in a hurry and he yelled after me "is there a problem??" in a very derogatory way. I was very uncomfortable. After I told him no I was just trying to pass through, he kept trying to fight, repeating "what's the problem" in a very angry way. As a woman this made me feel really really uncomfortable and unsafe around this short tempered man. This was very unprofessional and should not be allowed. This man should not be allowed around customers with that temperament.

Decent neighborhood gym. Has mostly machines and a good amount of open floor space upstairs. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Have to go during non rush hours usually and they hit you with those gym membership requirements where you have to give 30 day notice to cancel which was annoying. Would probably give a 4.5 if they didn't have that policy

I always find myself returning to Snap Fitness. Grandview and Short North have been my favorites! Grandview has an awesome spacious upstairs area, that has been a perfect addition to my routine. I used to work out with Phil at the Short North location and now he is one of my favorite staff members at the Grandview location. He is always willing to answer questions or give a friendly “Hello!” Snap has everything I need and easy to access!

The front door has been broken the entire year of my membership. No equipment is ever added or moved around. Leaky ceiling is fixed by putting a bucket underneath.

Overall it is pretty clean, especially the bathrooms, but many things are neglected. Cheap price for a slightly below-average gym.

Where to start with this place?

I joined the Grandview location a few months ago. I thought it was odd that most of the treadmills had out of order signs, but I thought they would be fixed quickly. After three months, 2 of them are still out of order. After talking to members that have been there for years, it is all the same equipment from when they first opened.

The front door has been broken for about 2 months. It had to be left unlocked for people to get in and out. Not very safe since any one can walk in any time of the day or night. The sign today said that it had been fixed, but I was unable to even get the door open to get in.

I'm typically there during their staffed hours. I have seen staff vacuum, but I have never seen them clean the equipment. Most of the patrons do not clean them either.

The A/C pipes also drip water all over they gym, so don't be surprised if water drips on you while you're working out.

They have security cameras around and a monitor where you can see what is going on. Most of the feeds are out.

The AED machine has also been missing for a few weeks.

When you flush the toilets, the pipes make an awful screeching and whining sound.

Walk if you can. Parking is limited and most of the street parking is permit only.

Today is my last day as a member.
