Cancelled my membership due to a free gym at work. I was charged in error for the following month. Took over 5 voicemails and daily calls until I finally reached someone. I was refunded, but now I was charged another month. They are saying that it is because of their billing cycle, and that I can get a free month if I come back? Their voicemail has been full for awhile so I can't even leave a message. I had to call a different store in a different location so get assistance. Horrible experience.

Everyone, sign up to Planet Fitness instead. It's not too far from Snap, and it is only $10 a month 24/7 gym that is significantly larger and even has a tanning bed. Oh, and it has staff on duty. I'm not a member there. I'm just trying to save people from possible headache.

The owner is extremely rude and combative towards basic business operations (i.e. cancellations). Quite a few of other posters have said that they had similar experiences. Won't return phone calls and doesn't fix broken machines in the gym. I've even seen a rat, on multiple occasions (with other people, too), but I was told it's "just because it's cold outside"...not sure how that qualifies as an appropriate response, but okay. Would avoid this gym at all costs..... And, no, despite Marianne's review stating that I was a "vindictive customer trying to get free months of membership", absolutely none of that is true. I definitely didn't want to be at this gym once I discovered the rat and all the broken equipment. Rather, I simply wanted a cancellation notice/confirmation (very boilerplate) because I was switching gyms and they required cancellation paperwork if I was going to get their special rate. But, it doesn't matter what my basis for leaving was---a cancellation confirmation is EVERYDAY, STANDARD BUSINESS PROTOCOL. YOU DON'T GET TO DENY CUSTOMERS THAT!

3 out of 4 TV's in front of the Cardio machines are off and can't be turned on. 1 out of 4 elliptical machines broken for the past year. Rowing machine stirrups broken for a year. This location needs some rehab or members will find other clubs with working equipment.

I had no complaints when I was a member in 2010. Price could have been better but that is neither here nor there now.

I was visiting the city and decided to get a one day pass. The owner lady was super nice and accommodating. Its a small private gym that is kept very clean.

Snap Fitness Mason is one of the cleanest gyms you will ever see. The cleaning lady also cleans in the local school system and is meticulous in her duties. Mr. Ryan G. was angry that he did not get three free months at the other gym he joined which is why he left this vindictive review.

I have been a member for about a year and really enjoy working out there.
The machines and free weights are everything needed for a great workout.
