Really would like to say Thank You for the Spooky Nook facility being opening today, Thanksgiving 27, 2025. Seth and Jim, Thank you for coming in. I know you could have been else where this morning. For you being there, I kept my 1RM bench press routing on track. It might not mean much, but when you have had many set backs in your life, to stay on track even during the holidays, means so much! Hope you two have a Wonderful Holiday! Matt Coffman

I rarely write reviews, but the way this organization treats its members is beyond unacceptable.
When Spooky Nook Fitness Center in Hamilton first opened, the management was friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Unfortunately, over the past year or so, the quality of leadership has gone sharply downhill. The current Membership Services Manager and her supervisor seem to view members not as valued participants, but as nuisances to be tolerated.
Communication is disorganized. Promises are routinely broken. Concerns are either brushed off with vague excuses or ignored entirely. There is no transparency, no accountability, and certainly no respect for the people paying to be there.
Classes are frequently canceled with little or no notice. Instead of having a schedule laid out for the month (as is standard at most gyms), the class calendar is released only two weeks at a timeβ€”sometimes even less. Decisions are made behind closed doors, and when members raise valid questions or concerns, the response is often defensive or indifferent.
What’s most frustrating is the total lack of basic courtesy. Members are the backbone of any gym, yet here we’re treated like we should feel lucky just to be allowed in the door. Don't get me wrong the facility is amazing along with the trainers, I just wish upper management would see what I see.

You pay for entry but not a seat! Would have decent things to say about this facility but they need a new facilities and operations manager. After a 5 hour drive and a $100 entry fee, I had to stand all day to watch games because of the lack of seating. When asked for additional chairs, I was told they would β€œcheck”. No one ever came back and after asking repeatedly, I was given the runaround. Meanwhile, there’s an absurd amount of empty chairs for the invisible NCAA coaches. I didn’t see one coach sit in the chairs the entire day but our family, including little children were forced to stand all day. Not any way to treat your patrons. For $100 a head and plenty of space, I’m sure you can spare extra chairs. Our team will not be returning.

A great tournament against great competition. The courts are beautiful, both the wood courts and the synthetic ones. However, the side with the wood courts air conditioning is very poor. it was muggy and hot, which is not ideal conditions for basketball competition. Also, there are zero water filling stations and only one water fountain that is tucked away in the back of the facility.

Very large gym with over 20 courts under one roof. Can watch the games from the upstairs. Parking was the only issue. Once the big lot is full, then the next overflow parking is over the bridge, a distance to walk but they had a school bus shuttle you to add from. So wasn't that bad. They had some food inside for sale. Not bad and price reasonable.

We just wrapped up summer soccer camp. Our temp average 97 for the 4 days of camp. The first day a kid threw up from what I heard a coach say when I was signing my kid out. I assumed with the facility being new they had indoor court for kids. Well I was wrong! I feel like that affects how kids train not to mention it was a heat advisory all those days. Had I known they had no plan to bring kids inside I would've put my kid in a different club the offered better training conditions.

The bathrooms are clear on one side of the building. By the cafeteria and the arcade. Nothing on the other end. Parking is insufficient for the number of courts unless you're willing to walk almost half a mile. The drop curtains between the courts do no good when they're all wrapped up on top. Drinking fountain is only on one end of the building. Track with overhead viewing needs to be opened up. Lack of local reasonably priced hotels for this location.

Great sports place as far as courts and restrooms with good food.

The issue for me is having only 2 water fountains that are placed in the back left corner of the facility (literally a few minute walk from the front courts) in a place where people are going to be sweating like crazy. Then charging for bottles of water to the tune of 4 dollars per bottle. Seems like a water fountain should be available at every restroom seeing as how there's plumbing located there. I think there are better ways to try and make money off people at a sports complex than through limiting water and then overpricing water. If you need a cheaper source water bottles for your complex just go to Costco. It's literally 4 dollars for 24 bottles. Charging $4 for a single bottle is a 25x upcharge. Just my two cents. Bring extra water!

A few weeks ago, I had my first experience at Spooky Nook. It's a really nice place. I'll give them that, and lots of choices for food and drinks. They also had a store front, which was something I'd never seen at any of the other places we have played. I'm only giving 3 stars, though, due to the price of everything there. $22 per person to get in, unless you were a student (17 under) or a senior, then it was $17, which is still a lot of money, then $5 for parking. We are a family of 7, and needless to say, it cost us a LOT of money to watch my son play. The food was expensive as well, so we did not purchase anything once we saw the prices.

I stayed at the Warehouse hotel as an exhibitor for a conference this week, and I took advantage of the free gym access for hotel guests. By hotel gym (and many gym) standards, I was very impressed. I really enjoyed the equipment access, the small running trail, and just the general space you have throughout the gym. The staff was friendly overall as well. It was nice to have a hotel gym I wanted to work out in for a change.

Very poorly ran Bearcat Classic tournament. Had 8th and 9th grade girls playing 6th grade girls and causing injuries. Refs telling coaches thats how we do it down here when injuries occurred. Coaches were on the edge causing screens on opposing team. I live on the street in front of Spooky Nook. There are signs posted for no Spooky Nook parking as our street is residential. They are parking there and Spooky Nook said there is nothing they can do. I had a volleyball tournament and left my Apple Watch there. Security found it and kept it safe. Around two months later I called them up and told them I was driving to come pick it up. I also asked them to double check if my watch was still there, and the employee proceeded to lie and say it was there. So, under the assumption that my watch was there, I drove two hours to pick it up. 15 minutes before arriving, I asked them to keep the Apple Watch out and ready, for which they agreed to. When I reached, they searched aim the security room and told us that after 30 days, a third party would take ahold of the item, which was never mentioned at all. So, I was left no choice but to drive two hours back home with absolutely nothing. Never trust these employees.

Large, clean facility. The arcade is a nice bonus for those attending but not participating in events (especially uninterested siblings).
There is usually a $5 parking fee for large events, on top of whatever entry fee there is. There are usually quite a few food options for events but only one snack bar open for practices during the week. Food and drink options are pretty pricey, in my opinion. Cotton candy is about $7, water in the vending machines is $4 each, crepes for $11 or $12, just for a few examples.
