After reading about Springbrook Golf Club, I was expecting a welcoming, community-focused course that prides itself on smooth, enjoyable experiences for all skill levels. Unfortunately, my visit was far from that.

I called on Friday to schedule a tee time for 8:30 Sunday morning. When I arrived, they didn’t even have my name down. They did let me play, but asked me to start on the back 9. I didn’t mind since I was only planning to play 9 holes. I teed off behind another group, let them go ahead, and patiently waited my turn.

When I got to the putting green on hole 11, another group came up behind me yelling about me starting on the back 9. I tried to respond politely, saying they could let me finish the hole and then play through, but they wouldn’t stop shouting. They even threatened me, claiming they had “called the clubhouse.”

The atmosphere was completely ruined after that. When I went back to the clubhouse to address the issue, the only thing they offered me was a free 9 holes to play—because of course I’d want to come back and play in that same hostile environment, right?

Based on my experience, the advertised “smooth, enjoyable experience” was nowhere to be found. If you’re looking for a course where you can relax and enjoy your round without harassment, I strongly recommend going someplace else.

Update: The GM of the establishment has since been in contact with me. She was very professional and apologized profusely (apparently it’s not the first time this has happened with this particular group.) I was calling for a refund but she ended up upgrading 9 holes to 18. I can’t wait to go back and try again!

The course was nice; however when me and my friend tried to pay they charged him for only one person and a golf cart when we had asked for him to pay for both of us, no big deal, however since i had never been here i didn’t know the pricing and went to begin golfing as we thought everything was alright. The lady that was working came out and demanded to know if i was a member, i looked at my friend because i didn’t know if he was or not; and she very sternly asked if i paid, which we responded yes because we thought i had so she asked how much we paid and very rudely said “no thats not right.” When i went back in to pay they charged me the weekend price and made me pay for a cart which i never got, we had already paid for the cart we were using and were double charged, we did know realized we had been double charged until after we left and looked up the pricing. I will not be returning.

Payed for 18 holes played 8 and it started raining. I go up to ask for a rain check, and the guy behind the counter says sorry we don’t give out rain checks.

Makes no sense on a busy weekend to let groups of 5 and 6 to go out. Overpriced and management doesn’t know how to run a golf course!

Great 18 holes if you are a beginner but even if you are not it still has a challenge. I am only 13 and I've been playing here since I was 10 and I still have a challenge because it still has that factor. And if u don't like sand then you will be okay because there are only a few all the others are covered up
