I love this gym and I like that they offer a women’s only section. The only thing I notice is, it’s a lot of elderly people that frequent this gym. There needs to be automated assisted door openings for these people who have a hard time getting in and out. Some people don’t even hold the doors open for these wheel chair, walker, cane people.

They trapped me into a 3 year contract without telling me when I first signed up when I was like 19 years old lol. The environment is kind of cool and looks very 80s, but most machines are falling apart specifically in the women’s area. A good gym if all you really use is free weights which is what I mostly do when I’m there. But most of the time there’s this nasty mildew or moldy smell that lingers in the gym, I like to get a protein smoothie from the place next door but the smell makes it hard not to be nauseous. Some ceiling tiles have mold/ water damage or are dangling from the ceiling or are completely gone which doesn’t seem the safest. Full of plenty of old guys that like to seemingly just come in to stare at you working out and will stare directly into the women’s area which is pretty irritating. Could be so much better if they bought new equipment and actually cleaned it but they don’t. The stair masters are literally caked in sweat droplets and barely work. Overall it’s a pretty mid gym.

I was in Toledo for work and decided to try this facility out. The staff was able to accommodate an extended day pass for the duration of my stay. I haven't been to another gym in years and can't compare it to another gym. It has equipment for basically any workout you can think of, including a pool, hot tub and sauna. It was clean and well maintained equipment. The staff was friendly, very professional and able to answer any questions. Thank you, Super fitness for making my stay in Toledo better.

SuperFitness is my go-to/ daily driver/multi-tool. I'm at a lot of gyms in Toledo and this one is great because it is 8 min from point Place, has a huge amount of equipment from all different eras/brands. I love that it is in the old Northtown Mall which makes it spacious even during busy hours. This is a genpop/ all ages gym and I would say more family friendly less hardcore. You'll have beginners to competitive athletes all in the same place. They do have children's services /daycare which makes it great for moms and dads to come train while their children are exposed to fitness. Both offer personal training.
SuperFitness New Towne Square Drive is close to 75, highway hotels, and gas/good grocery store which makes it great to stop at for people who are traveling to stop in for a day or week pass. If you purchase a membership you get access to the other Super fitness on N.Reynolds Rd, also a very large gym.
Both have large cardio areas with a great selection of interesting choices (not just treadmills), both have pools but the Northtown location has a bigger pool area. Both have locker rooms, showers and saunas, both have big carpeted cardio classrooms which also double as highly mirrored posing rooms for body building athletes! Both locations allow filming but encourage courtesy to other people training ¬ film others if possible. Both locations have a FitCafe to purchase fresh made shakes from the protein bar or assorted healthy snacks or Pre-workout drinks, even equipment and supplements, which is connected to their tanning center.

STAY AWAY!! First and foremost the gym is okay. Many old people, bland environment, gross equipment, rude lady at the front, etc. The main thing I want to inform you of though is how scummy this company is! Right not they are offering 3 year contracts and preying in those who don’t know better. If you get a contract (which is your only option for affordability) and you can’t pay for 2 months THEY WILL IMMEDIATELY THREATEN TO SEND YOU TO COLLECTIONS. I was going through a hard time and I emailed them asking for an extension and they ignored me completely then ghosted me. Yesterday, I got a threat in the mail saying if I didn’t pay over $800 my account will be in collection. I understand this is a business but they are a very scummy one at that. If the 3 years your life you signed away doesn’t go perfect and you need a payment plan or extension then you’ll be ignored and , YOUR CREDIT WILL GET MESSED UP RUINING YOUR LIFE FURTHER!!! Stay away and just walk outside. Trust me you aren’t missing much with this place anyway!

Absolutely adore the actual gym and staff. I couldn’t recommend a better gym. Cancelling however has been an absolute nightmare. I moved out of state in June and was told I had to cancel online and that the mail I had brought in was good enough to cancel with. I have gone back and forth FOR MONTHS with the credit union they use. I have been charged continuously for months. As much as I love this gym, this has been incredibly frustrating.

I LOVE this gym. I’ve been to several different gyms in Toledo and I feel most comfortable here. I go different times of day and it’s never packed. They have a whole bunch of different equipment so everyone feels spaced out. My daughter also loves the kids center. My only BIGGEST complaint is the parking lot. The design of it just doesn’t make sense to me. And after all the years I’ve been here, they have never fixed the crazy amount of potholes. You would think they would’ve done something about that as it’s so hard to avoid them.

It is nice. Spacious, which is great. Clean. Equipment was a pleasant mix of new and a few older models.
Surprisingly grateful for how quiet it is despite the number of people, also there was no wait for the equipment, they have 2 of almost everything.
There is a Ladies Only area, which is nice.
I'm using my week guest pass right now and will be signing up for a year subscription in 2 days on the 1st.

Canceled my membership years ago. When I moved out of state they randomly restarted my membership and despite not going there for years, wouldn't reimburse me for the 1000s of dollars they took from me despite me obviously not going there unless I showed them a piece of paper from over 7 years ago that stated I canceled my membership. They said "you only paused your account for 3 years, not canceled it" thieves and crooks.

I've never stepped foot into an LA Fitness or Planet Fitness and I don't plan on it as long as this place is around. I find the rates to be reasonable and the people to be friendly and respectful.

Super fitness is broken up into 9 distinct areas:
1) Vestibule This showcases some of the owners race cars and has the front desk/main gym entrance.
2) Tanning and nutrition salon. This is located near the main entrance and is several little shops. They offer GNC like services, as well as a barber, a tanning salon, and refreshments like smoothies or blended fruit drinks.
3) Treadmills, ellipticals, and exercise bikes.
4) Locker rooms
5) Swimming pool complete with a hot tub time machine (I think I saw Chevy Chase in there a little while back).
6) Two auditorium style rooms. One is labeled women only and the other appears to be a spot for classes of some sort.
7) Exercise machines are spread out all over the gym, they've got darn near every type of machine you can imagine and in many cases have two or more of them.
8) Children's area that has a bunch of things for kids to play on as well as a few machines for the kids to work out on.
9) Free weight area. They have an excellent selection of dumbbells as well as the machines that use free weight plates.

I normally miss the morning or evening rush because I'm able to go in during the middle of the day... however if my calendar is full that day and I've got to much going on at work going there in the morning or the evening isn't a stressful ordeal because they have so many machines. With only a few exceptions, they multiple machines that work the same muscle group. E.g. There is around 4 bench/chest press machines, not counting free weight benches.

While they don't have quite as many free weight benches and machines they do have a good amount that makes it a breeze to exercise even if it's the middle of the daily rush.

When you combine the number of machines with a friendly knowledgeable staff, a reasonable rate, and a respectful clientele; this gym is a no brainer. I really enjoy working out here and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new place to go or a place to get started. (Knock on wood) I've never had a bad experience while coming here.

Super big gym, there's a ladies only area if you are uncomfortable being around the regular part of the gym. They have a coin laundry room you can use as well and a pool and jacuzzi. There is a lot of equipment and even when it's busy it's not packed like other gyms. SCAM. I wanted a 1 year membership, when I was still getting charged after a year I asked why. Several of the machines have needed maintenance for years. The weights bind on the sliders causing an uneven pull/push movement.
When we joined 6 years ago, they told my wife they were going to remodel the women's' locker room soon. It hasn't been started yet.

They claim you can cancel your membership when you move away but they have fought me every step of the way. I moved to college and they wouldn't accept university housing agreement as proof of residence, I was back for 3 months in the summer and now that I've moved again, for good, they still will not accept any proof or residence I send. I used to love this gym because of the different things offered (ladies only area, pool, and hot tub), but recently machines are consistently broken, sand falls out of the workout balls in the ladies only area, and some machines do not even turn on, which is very discouraging. The pool was yellow, especially on the bottom and looked like it has not been cleaned in months. Last year, the gym was much better, which is why I signed up. The extra payments charged to members for maintenance and improvement do not seem to be used for that purpose. I tried liking it again and voicing my concerns, but no luck. When I write this review I intend for it to be constructive criticism, please bring it back to the gym I used to enjoy going to!

This gym has it all, a huge free weight area with the most equipment I've ever seen and then there's the machines area, it's divided into an area for you arms, an area for your legs, your shoulders, your chest, your abs, anything you want to work they have several machines for each and every body part, a jacuzzi, a pool, a sauna, locker rooms, you have to see it to believe it and all at a very reasonable price. Place was clean but the location was a bit inconvenient. There wasn’t much going on around it so I bet Anton who goes is really dedicated to the gym. It’s not the most modern gym but new equipment won’t make the workout better so that doesn’t matter much. The hand dryer in the Locke room is right next to the stalls so that not the greatest. Overall there is a lot of options and it would be easy to tailor your workouts to specifications here. There’s also a swimming pool though I haven’t tried it. The place is gargantuan if that wasn’t clear.

Not happy, they never checked the machines to see which ones work properly, so the recumbent machines l use are all Melfunchioning the ones that aren't functioning properly should be tapped off, not the good ones. No one is monitoring the people to see if they're cleaning after use. So lm not happy.
