Gettin’ real sweaty at the gym, y’all, with complete strength and recovery workouts that now include SI SU sauna theropy. After an hour workout followed by only 15 minutes in the cedar spaceship, I feel like I can take another class. This owner keeps investing in the gym, its services, and in US! Doesn’t matter if it’s small business Saturday or any other damn day, the pricing is more than fair. The sweaty community is a blast too. Sign up for a class. And don’t forget your sauna hat!

SWEAT Akron is truly on another level.
Not only is the gym itself incredible — super clean, welcoming, and stocked with everything you need for an elite workout — but Travis now added a new sauna that completely elevates the whole experience. The cedar interior, the heat, the quality of the setup… it feels like stepping into a high-end wellness retreat. You can tell he put real thought and investment into creating the perfect recovery space.
I love that I can get an amazing workout in the gym, then unwind and recharge in the sauna afterward. The combo is unbeatable. If you’re looking for a gym that actually cares about the full experience — training, recovery, and community — SWEAT Akron is hands-down the best in the area. Highly, highly recommend!

I had a great experience at Sweat Akron! It’s a nonjudgmental zone and there’s workouts for everybody. The owner Travis is really down to earth and inclusive. They are truly a community at that gym. Will be back! 10/10 experience.

Sweat definitely lives up to its name, Travis is an awesome coach/trainer who has definitely helped me reach multiple goals so far in nutrition, weight loss, strength gain and others. He also goes beyond the scope of just helping when in the gym and goes the extra mile to help. Not only does the facility have great equipment but also is always improving with more amenities. I definitely would give this gym a try.

I love this gym. Coach Travis and the other members made me feel welcome the first day I walked in there and the friends I've made are important in my life. Whether you are a seasoned gym rat or a newbie wanting to get in shape or start a workout program, these classes will challenge you, strengthen you and make you feel powerful. I appreciate how much Coach Travis cares about his members and is always looking to help us grow.

Sweat is an amazing gym with a great coach. Travis takes the time to explain all the exercises and throughout the class is there to correct your form if needed. It’s a very welcoming gym, no matter your fitness level. all the members are so nice. I feel very comfortable going to the classes.

I don’t usually go for group workouts, but Sweat - Strength and Recovery (Akron) completely changed my perspective. From the moment I walked in, the coach made me feel welcomed and supported. I've tried a lot of workouts over the years, but Sweat Akron has quickly become my absolute favorite—and for good reason! Every class is the perfect blend of intensity, energy, and motivation. You walk in feeling one way and leave feeling empowered, accomplished, and stronger every single time. His coaching style pushes you without being intimidating, and the focus on proper form and real results sets this place apart from any other gym I've been to.
