System of Strength is a next level fitness movement designed to change lives. The System builds upon elements of cardio, strength, stretch and recovery aiming to push you further than you ever thought possible while inspiring you for a full sixty minutes workout. We know that strength comes from the struggle and there's no feeling of accomplishment like the one you get at the end of an SOS class. The seven different class formats are designed in a way that each client can personalize the System to achieve their fitness and nutrition goals in one single membership. Our core mission is "Together We Are Stronger" and it's about building and maintaining that culture that pushes us to redefine fitness limits.

I have been an SOSer for 5 years now. Which makes it shocking that I’m just now getting around to writing review, especially since I’m such a mega-fan! I first heard about SOS from a few folks when I worked at L Brands in Columbus. They had a few loyal customers with whom I worked. To be honest, I was a little intimidated when I’d see these folks post about their workouts on social media. I had thought about trying it circa 2017, but was too intimidated (my loss!). But in 2019, I ended up with a stress fracture while marathon training. I was able to barely finish my training for the NYC Marathon, which I did successfully complete in November 2019. But at that point, it was evident that I couldn’t just keep running marathons without incorporating strength training into my routine. So in Christmas Week 2019, I started with the 7 class starter pack just to try it out.
I even joined Team Tread (their half & full marathon training program)in their Columbus location in January to start training for the Nashville Half in April 2020. Unfortunately for me, my SOS morning routines were abruptly halted in March 2020. But luckily, my team tread registration got me into the “digital studio” which I had no idea what it was at the time. I very quickly uncovered that it’s all the same studio instructors and they have recorded classes with new uploads almost daily as well as a huge library of online classes (which as you can imagine has only grown in the past 5 years). I did what everyone else was doing and immediately ordered as many dumbbells, resistance bands, and other equipment to build up a “home SOS studio” and my equipment has been growing ever since.
I moved to Arizona in summer 2021, and have continued to be a dedicated Digital Studio user and advocate. Whenever I come home to Ohio (wither Cbus or Cincy), I get giddy at the thought of going to classes in person and it’s a treat to choose which classes I’ll take and with which instructors.
I can honestly say SOS Digital Studio has helped me get in the best shape of my life. I feel like I personally know all of the trainers (I don’t have social media anymore, but when I did, I followed all of them, so again, felt like I kew them personally). When I was in Hawaii for my wedding, SO many people were asking me about my arms and complimenting me. I kept trying to tell them about the DS and how special SOS is. I will always be a dedicated and loyal fan. It’s become such a part of my routine that I’m on Christmas Break now with my husband in Kansas (where he’s from) and I’ve brought my ankle weights, light weights and loop bands just so I can get some classes in. Thank you, Gretchen and team for helping me be the best version of myself every day! Can’t imagine what I’d do without the DS and my SOS training crew!
(Only word of advice to newbies- the System DOES work! Don’t skip out on any classes. As you can imagine, being a marathon runner, I favored all of the cardio classes. But it wasn’t until I really started incorporating High & Tight as I prepared for my wedding that I noticed the chiseled arms that I’d always wanted. It’s a well-rounded program that works wonders as long as you incorporate ALL of the classes).
Particularly about the Cincy location, I love the rooms they have (1 dedicated to The Course, 1 for Ebb and High & Tight and another for In The Mix and Control). You can tell it was built after the Columbus locations! I also have only been here about 7 times total (since I'm more from the Columbus area). But both instructors Tyler and Emma have remembered me. Emma is for sure my favorite instructor. I was super spoiled this past Thanksgiving and had her for three straight days of classes! Oh how I wished I lived closer!

Wow! What a haven! This is a literally a one-stop body shop. I love how everything is under roof-cardio, strength, mix and hot Pilates and yoga! I leave every class so challenged and feeling so rewarded. It is totally worth the money because every class is different and works on something and challenges me every single time I go. It leaves me feeling renewed and stronger than ever. Here they have also create an amazingly welcome and warming community where I feel seen and recognized every time I walk in! Finding this place was a true blessing and I’m so grateful it’s part of my life now!

I've had an unlimited membership at SOS Cincy for over 18 months; I love the facility, the variety of classes, and most importantly the people. It's great for beginners, seasoned lifters/athletes, and everyone in between.

I've tried out several gyms over the last three years but I’ve never loved any as much as I love SOS. I joined IMMEDIATELY after my first free class and I've never looked back! What sets SOS apart is the variety it offers; there are different classes tailored to your fitness goals, whether you prefer cardio-heavy workouts, strength training, bootcamp-style, etc. This diversity ensures that I never get bored. The staff is also fantastic. Everyone has been friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly motivating. Plus, the studio is always impeccably clean!

Really, really nice facility with a variety of classes for everyone to enjoy. Only room for improvement would be to allow for breaks in between transitions to another part of the workout.

SOS is the most rounded fitness regimen I have ever experienced. I am 54 and needed a program that was focused on strength training. To my surprise, the cardio, muscle confusion, and yoga are outstanding too. You can’t miss at this place.

System of Strength had been on my list of places to try for a long time. I finally popped in a few classes, and I'm loving it. The trainers are highly skilled at planning classes, and keeping me motivated throughout the entire workout. The music is amazing.
I love the diversity they have in class options. Something for everyone, and all extremely challenging in their own way. My favorite class to date is control. If you're looking for a class that is strictly strength based, this is it. I always walk out of class feeling like I could lift a car.
Here are the details:
They have plenty of parking in the front AND back of the building.
They offer various deals for first timers, so you can test every class before you commit.
They take cleaning very seriously, and in the strength classes you get your own set of weights right at your spot.

I've hopped around gyms and studios taking a variety of classes and followong different workout plans since I stopped playing sports in college. While I could get a good workout, I always felt like I needed a better mix or something more to take my workouts to the next level. System of Strength ended up being the answer! I’ve been taking classes at SOS since this February 2020 and have been hooked! They can be intense, but you get an incredible workout in and feel accomplished when they’re done. Their system offers a great variety of class formats combining strength training, cardio, and recovery.
For COVID, they have individual workout spots spaced 6 feet apart and sanitize all equipment between classes. You’ll have your own station with sanitized weights, bands, boxes, or whatever else they may have in the workout that day.

I am one of those people who loves trying out new workout studios - Maybe that's who I am, or maybe that's because I've never found a studio I truly loved. I love different studios for different reasons, but have felt that I needed to join 2-3+ studios to get the "mix" of workouts I was looking for. This is where System of Strength has been a game changer for me: They offer HIIT workouts (real, legit, challenging, sweat-drenching ones), Heavy Lifting (and another class that mixes the HIIT/cardio workouts with the lifting), Training/Station-based classes (felt like soccer conditioning), Hot Yoga, Hot Pilates, Restorative Yoga... Have I missed anything?? These aren't for the faint of heart either, these classes are TOUGH on both a mental and physical level. I know going into any class that I will get exactly what I want out of it (there are obviously modifications given for everything as well). So if you are looking for a challenge, or feel like you are in a workout rut with your same-ole workout classes, then I would suggest this. These are the only workouts that I have been motivated enough to get out of bed at 5am for, and that's because I get a different class every day and I love it! Thanks for coming to Cincy, SOS!
Pro Tip: If you're looking to burn some cals, my favorites in order are:
In The Mix
Clocked
The Course
Control
