TGC is one of our daughterβs favorite places. She does lessons there, as well as had her birthday there. All the coaches and staff are great. We could not recommend them enough!

This gym is amazing! I have seen the growth in my daughter not only as a gymnast but also as a person. She went from never doing gymnastics 3 yrs ago to going to state. I am so happy that the coaches have taken the time to learn the girls individual personalities. Encouraging team work and hard work. The girls have a crown they share when someone does their personal best on an event, they took the crown to state and the GIRLS decided to share it with other teams when they did well on an event no matter what their score said. I could not ask for more in a gym, perfecting gym skills and individual personal growth! I feel completely comfortable with my kid in their hands as a working parent I canβt always stay for 2 to 3 hrs, the coaches handle the kids with patience and caring.

Edit: I was able to speak directly with the owner this evening. She was apologetic, and agreeable to refund the cost of the course. I do still feel that the particular instructor that my son was assigned to was unfamiliar with how to work with a neurodiverse child. The overall experience was very poor for my family. However, the end result was handled appropriately.
Guess I should have read the reviews before signing up.
If you have a neurodiverse child, avoid this place. My 4 year old son left in tears thinking he was in trouble after the way the instructor treated him. He is a bit hyperactive, so we thought this would be a great way to redirect his energy. We were met by an instructor who could not have been more than 19 years old, who instantly seemed bothered by my child. I explained that he loves to run/jump/climb, and is capable of participating, but he is slow to adapt. In the past when we have put him in activities, he typically doesn't jump in to participate until the second session due to wanting to watch and observe the environment. So, I was surprised to see he actually jumped in quickly to participate right at the beginning of class. However, the group was provided with multiple instructions very quickly which he struggled to understand. When he asked the instructor for help, he was brushed off and told he would need to do the activity independently, then he watched while she helped the other kids do the same activities multiple times. He was told to wait in line at a particular piece of equipment for his turn (understandable) but when his turn came another child cut in front of him. He was upset but kindly asked the other child to move and was met with a simple "NO." He became frustrated after that and moved on to a different piece of equipment, where he was scolded for not paying attention. Towards the end of the course we were asked to leave because my son is "a distraction and safety hazard." This comment was made directly in front of my 4 year old, resulting in him crying and asking me multiple times if he's a bad kid. It is entirely unacceptable to make this kind of comment to a 4 year old child.
I understand that my child is not perfect, and that he is not suited for everything. I have removed him from activities in the past when I felt he wasn't capable or not interested to allow a spot for another child. That was not the case here. My child is capable of participating and was very excited to see the gym/equipment. He asked for assistance when needed and was dismissed. I have attempted to contact the company multiple times with no luck at all. Each time I have called it has gone directly to a voicemail (with no callback) which seems odd since three people were sitting at the front desk when we walked in.

By far one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Do not walk, RUN away from this organization. We enrolled out of state and we're charged full price only to realize we got one class in before the new session. We went to our very first class and we're met with a high school coach??? Never have we ever experienced this anywhere else it's always only ever been an adult, which, I didn't see one single adult the entire time I was there. The coach didn't introduce my child to the other children though it was her first class she knew no one and is a shy three year old. She never once showed her personally how to go through the routine that all of the other students new so well since if was the end of the session. The coach just let my child sit there and watch confused on what to do with essentially no direction while the coach occasionally helped other students and talked to other high school coaches. That's absolutely unacceptable. Being new to the gym, to the class, to the routine and being so young warrants a helping hand. I don't expect my child to be coddled but I do expect a coach to show her the ropes and help integrate her. I have tried calling and speaking to an adult SEVERAL time and have left numerous voicemails and not one time have I heard back. When I walked in the girl at the front desk was going to charge me and thankfully I came prepared and told her we had already paid and she finally relent and agreed we had paid. Lastly, when we came in all the high school coaches were crowded around the front desk gossiping about other workers who recently had a grandparent pass away to which one of them said, "that's not a family emergency". Having high schoolers run your organization for you isnt best practice. I have never felt more taken advantage of in my entire life. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Absolutely horrific, unacceptable, and will tell everyone we know to stay far far away.

Needless to say, this has gotten so out of hand that my daughter has stomach issues and has gotten so nervous and down about coming into practice, that she doesn't even want to do this anymore. And I don't blame her. I cannot believe Michelle runs her gym like this and then has the audacity to send out emails to us telling us how we should worry about how we represent her gym. Talk about hypocrisy. I feel like I can't really do anything about this place other than quit and there's no other gym close by that's good.. I wish there was. Because Michelle does not care about her gymnasts or the parents. She can afford to go on multiple vacations a year, replace the driveway, and have a physical therapist there some days, but she can't hire a cleaning crew or coaches who will keep the kids in line. Disgusting and money hungry. That's all there is to it.

PLEASE READ FULL REVIEW
The Owner Michelle is about money, which is very unfortunate. The teams can be very overpopulated. The coaches that they have does not match their ratio for a team. They promise you one thing and deliver another. Throughout the entire season, it has been an awful experience, pretty much due to lack of ability to actually train the girls when we went to other competitions TGC girls lacked skills and confidence as well as performance as this should be established during conditioning. This was a terrible terrible terrible experience for me. I got to hear about all the other horrible complaints that other moms had as well. How the owners does not seem to care about the girls skills, and how some of the girls have the same level of skills every year. The cost of the tuition was super high and not only did we miss days due to the holidays. If you miss a day, in general, youβre not allowed to make that day up. The team camp is a joke the time frame is absolutely unreasonable for people that have to work in office. They were so unprepared for competitions. It was embarrassing to see how other gymnastics places had their teens in order for whatever, but when it came to our we clearly showed a lack in ability do to the training they received by coachβs their practice time is like two hours two days a week and they spend more time seemed like on stretching than actually doing the skills, 3 girls on one balance beam, and if you donβt know how to do a skill they tell you to book a private lesson which cost more money. The system that the owner Michelle has set up is a complete rip off, and it only seems to benefit her financially.

If I could leave 0 stars I would after our experience today. My daughter has gone here off and on for the past two years between gymnastics, dance class, and private lessons. Donβt get me wrong, we have had some good experiences here, like making new friends and enjoying new accomplishments like being able to walk the balance beam by herself for the first time. But when my child leaves a class in tears from the teacher not treating her the same as the other kids in the class, that is not okay. Today this included the teacher telling her she needs to take turns as soon as she and another child got on the teeter totter but the other child had nothing said to her, the teacher ignoring her when she asked to be the line leader and then purposely making a point to NOT make her line leader and letting the other two kids in the class be the line leader over and over, the teacher acting annoyed with her and not walking her through routines, letting other children cut in front of her on the way to the trampoline and again acting annoyed because my child was upset, and honestly all around not making her feel included in a class of three children. These are CHILDREN they are working with, if they can not be adult enough and capable enough to set aside their own petty frustration and be compassionate then they should not be working with children. I can not explain the feeling of seeing my own child be treated this way and in tears that the teacher was being βmean to herβ.

We love open gym on Wednesday mornings. My 2 year old has a blast and they have it set up differently everything. It has been so cool watching his progression as he tries doing new stuff each time. Great way to burn off some toddler energy

The Tiny Tots class was underwhelming. Her teacher with the glasses doesnβt seem To engage well with that age range. She kinda has this expression of an annoyed teenager being forced to babysit her siblings. Very little enthusiasm, very little encouragement, very little assistance and Not much instruction. My kid hasnβt learned any flips or anything on the equipment. Itβs pretty much just recessβ¦β¦. Expensive recess.

We were there for a gymnastics meet. This is the newest facility weβve visited and yet absolutely the dirtiest. The seating was extremely limited. The bathrooms upstairs were absolutely filthy! The toilets looked like theyβd not been cleaned in months. The arrangement of equipment/apparatuses left it really hard to see the performances. And the βfree wifiβ is pretty much a non existing signal that just drains your device battery

We have been with TGC for about a year now and our daughter has loved it. The staff and instructors are friendly and dedicate the time to the kids. We are a part of the younger ages but you can tell when you're there that all classes are going well. We will be continuing our classes for the foreseeable future!

I have been coming here weekly at least once for nearly ten years now between both by children. We have done weekly standard classes for fun and exercise. We have done ninja nights and themed holiday events. Now my youngest is in her 4th year of being on the competition team. I have nothing bad to say of anyone here. The coaches are all great on different aspects of their coaching style. They do great to work with each gymnast work through their own struggles so they can move on to getting the next skill. Private lessons and skills clinics available as well. I'm sure I'll be coming for practice still for several years to come.

My kids love it here. I have two boys and we've utilized the ninja nights, open gym and classes. It's always well structured and the perfect environment for kids to get some energy out! The staff are friendly, and encouraging. We love that the classes teach them awareness of their body and environment, all while building strength and flexibility

Very cool space and not one I would have thought of for a birthday party, but it was great for this age. Friendly and helpful staff who were great with the kids. My little dude was VERY excited to play and disappointed to leave, so kudos to their team for that!
