I just started going to Apex after a few years at another gym. Apex is clean and well maintained. Plates are put away, and you don't have to worry about equipment falling apart. My motivation since starting there has improved tremendously — so much that all the extra sets have me sore all over again, even at age 57. If you need a machine someone else is on, there are many other ways to do the same sets while you wait. Staff members are friendly and helpful, and key fob access has been easy and reliable thus far.

It's got decent equipment and good culture there.
Edit: I have had previous complaints. But to say it plainly, my complaints were handled very politely by staff. And immediate action was taken which I am sincerely grateful for. I do really enjoy this gym.

The gym is a nice size and has plenty of different pieces of equipment, more than some of the competitors in the area, but that is eclipsed to me by the fact that the average person going to the gym is 19 years old. Nobody wipes anything down and the place feels (and is) dirty. So if you're into waiting for a mob of kids to get done with a machine and leave it dirty because they "just showered," then this place is for you. Definitely going to look into different options if the problem isn't addressed, because it's nasty.

Edit: After having some time to reflect on the situation, I've decided it's best not to be so harsh on the actual employees of the facility, especially when this issue is largely the fault of the kids that are going to the gym. The staff have actually been nothing but nice to me. The situation I described in my post actually happened after 7pm, which is after hours and the staff weren't even there. It's still irritating that I've seen kids of almost all ages running around the gym, including occasionally seeing young kids that have to be like 6 - 9 years old. I've been able to combat the situation by coming in before the hordes of broccoli headed children show up in their masses and work out in groups of 3 - 8 and hardly ever wipe things down and leave their weight on the equipment... I've found the actual best time to go is before 3, because that's when they start showing up when they get out of their little high school classes and they're there between 3 and 8.

Anyways, I changed my review from 2 stars to 4 stars. There ya go.

I’ve been going to Apex for around 3 years now and I couldn’t be happier. The gym is mostly Cybex equipment and I love the way these machines feel. They’re also constantly upgrading. As far as the social aspect bad interactions have been few and far between. I’ve made friends going here including the owners who are always friendly and helpful. I’ve been to a few gyms, some name brand some local. The Apex Fitness Center I will stand by is one of the best deals you can get. Great gym for a great price.

Good gym + Good people! I just started my membership here and I was greeted by Trevor, who was very welcoming and gave me a full tour, and was just all around kind. For the gym itself, great equipment, in good condition, organized, lots of open area for free weight work, and very accommodating if you wanted a more private workout area! Very happy I got a membership here, and looking forward to continuing my workouts at Apex!

Chris and Trevor have created comfortable and inviting gym located directly in the local mall! They both come with great knowledge for fitness and will help anyone with what they are trying to achieve! They talk to everyone that comes in and are very personable! I have been attending the gym for over a year and won’t go anywhere else. The gym has everything you need and more! The members are all personable and it is for sure a judgement free zone! Highly recommend Apex Fitness Center.

A home gym away from home. Well priced 24 hour gym with machines, free weights, classes and space to do sprints and such. Enter through a members only entrance, get what you need done, leave. Equipment is used, but well maintained. They have towels at their wipe down stations to keep clean/sanitized. It is located in the mall, but windows are covered so you don't feel on display.
