I would highly recommend the Exercise Coach Perrysburg to anyone looking to get in shape or improve their fitness in a non-intimidating atmosphere.
It's been just about 3 1/2 years since joining Exercise Coach Perrysburg - joining when I wanted to fight old age - my body ached just moving... I tired so easily... had to limit activities requiring any strength - just felt VERY OLD. I had spent years thinking this is just what I should expect from aging.
But now at 70.... I feel the BEST I have felt since I was maybe in my mid 40s.
My muscle mass has increased. I've seem health improvements like improved bone density, lower blood pressure, and improved blood sugar levels.
Feeling stronger has made for a wonderful mental impact - as I don't feel my body will betray me any more and I move thru my days with more confidence and ease - actually standing straighter.
I enjoy my visits... find the trainers to be encouraging, knowledgable and helpful - it's actually become fun and something I look forward to!
And I still am amazed I get that much from a commitment to give it my all for just 20 minutes, two times a week!

I started exercising at the Exercise Coach in Perrysburg about 6 months ago and am loving the results! I am stronger than I have been in years and the added strength has helped me have less back/neck pain and more energy! The coaches are professional and knowledgeable and the environment is super clean. The workouts are super efficient and target every major muscle group. As a PT, I would recommend this place to anyone who has graduated from rehab and is looking for a place to boost their strength, balance and stamina.

This is where you go to change your body in 2 x 20-minute sessions per week! Not your typical "gym", The Exercise Coach uses scientifically validated weight lifting and quick interval workouts. I'm hooked after my initial consultation with my coach. Steve, Heather, and both Erica's are trained to modify the protocols to almost any age and fitness level. Do not be afraid to try it; there's no obligation for the first two sessions.

"Aerobic fitness" can really only come from stressing mitochondrial processes (anerobic work i.e. pushing and pulling weights!), and the added metabolic improvement from high intensity intervals (HIIE) makes this a perfect program also for Type 2 diabetics and those pre-diabetic/ insulin resistant.

Highly recommended! Worth the investment in your future health.
