This review has been a long time coming. They’re shutting down and merging with Fit Works and didn’t notify anyone until the last minute so it’s not like it matter at this point anyways. I’ve been going to this gym for years and it has changed management numerous times. There are good things about it and bad things, but the bad things outweigh the good by a huge margin.

The good: it’s convenient, just enough weights and equipment to get a good workout in, people are chill, reasonably priced, never too crowded.

The bad: management has been awful the entire time I’ve gone there, facilities are poorly maintained (I shouldn’t have to walk to the other side of the gym to get paper towels or a spray bottle because the ones by me are empty), they take forever to fix even the smallest things (every clock in the gym is telling a different time because they’re too lazy to have them adjusted), staff is nonexistent in the mornings and evenings. Before they switched to automated access it was a coin toss on if someone was going to be there to open up or not. Poor communication with patrons. Management was constantly making promises that they couldn’t keep - they have been saying for the better part of a year that they are getting new equipment and that never happened. I could go on forever with this list but to wrap it up, they will gouge you for every dollar that they can when you cancel your membership.

The only reason any of us stayed as long as we did was out of convenience. If this gym was staying open I would recommend you pay a little extra and go to a gym that is actually organized and professional. This gym was not that. RIP.

Went to the gym at 1030am on Sunday and the doors were locked with people inside. I called to see if maybe it was a mistake since the website says the staffed hours start at 8am, and got no answer.

Used to go here and I have to say the gym itself is great. Just kinda disappointed that the staffed hours were incorrect? I’m not sure. I’m really frustrated and sad since I had my mind set on going back. Afraid to drive there again and waste gas

Love the group fitness classes. Especially Kickboxing (Saturday at 9am). I hope they make the class 2 classes a week (minimum). The gym itself is really nice and because it's 24 hrs, it's never busy. I'm going to start personal training soon, as well. The Ohio Gym (with newly incorporated Soza) had really gave me a new leash on life and a healthy lifestyle.

If you cancel on a specific date they can literally gouge 100 dollars out of you within a month. For some reason they double charge people for a “maintenance fee” for certain months. Also for some reason I was charged 50 dollar cancellation fee even though it said 20 dollars. What a massive money gouge don’t ever go here if you like your wallet and whatever is in it.

The gym is ok. The ceiling leaks, the lockeroom has a bunch of broken lockers, the plumbing is failing, half of the treadmills do not work, pads need to be replaced on a few machines and if you show up before 10AM there is absolutely zero staff to help if you need anything.

Gym switched to 24 hours, makes it easier to fit a work out in. Bathrooms are always dirty and different parts of ceiling leak from time to time.

best gym for the value in cleveland imo. good equipment, 24 hr access which is damn near impossible to find these days, tanning, and cool staff.

Been here for 5 years. When it was golds gym, then world gym, and now the ohio gym. Had a couple issues with previous management however it looks like the new owner or head of management is staying on top of his crew. Read your contracts. Thank you much for bringing this gym back to life.

Cool Lil gym. Definitely gets the job done. For me it moves like a private spot. Could use another leg press. But has the workout essentials for sure
