I have been trying to cancel an auto-paid beginner level $30 membership that was supposed to be "cancel any time!!" for almost a year. I have called and emailed every month for 7 months to get this taken care of. I've lodged a complaint against them with the BBB and have contacted Lakewood Police regarding this matter. I have also filed a complaint with the Attorney General of Ohio. It is unacceptable for this business to actively deny a client the right to cancel when there was never a contract in place that would allow them to continue charging people in this manner. THIS BUSINESS IS ACTIVELY STEALING FROM PEOPLE. It must feel good for this business owner to know that she's taking from others who have fallen on hard times to supplement her own failing business.

I enjoyed the few classes I went to, but I have been trying to cancel my membership for months with no response to emails & no way to do it online. I've lost probably $200 since December at this point. I will probably continue to lose money because there seems to be no way to get in touch with the studio. I am growing extremely frustrated with Source Yoga.

Pros: Great classes, affordable, quaint studio.

Cons: Inconsistent schedules, difficult location to get to during rush hour.

My biggest complaint with this studio is inconsistency. I really wanted to like this place and be disciplined about going so many times a week, but the classes keep getting canceled last minute, or have a different instructor subbing when you show up, or the times showing online are wrong so you use a full credit for only half a class. The check in is different with each instructor. I really hope this changes because I still have credits left but so far I'm very disappointed since the other studios I've gone to never had these issues :(

Though I enjoy this studio, and appreciate the low cost of attending this studio, more often than not the instructor doesn’t show up. It seems to happen most frequently on the weekends. Roughly half of the classes I’ve tried to attend on weekends don’t happen. There is no communication that a class has been cancelled; not even a note on the door. Numerous times there’s a class full of people waiting outside, wondering if anyone will show. Other than the coin flip or if a class will happen, the space is nice, and the instructors are helpful.

I love the pricing, instructors, and how each class is different and challenging... but I feel like the place could use a cleaning. It is very distracting sometimes. The floor needs swept and mopped at the least.

The classes are good and I used to love coming here! However after moving from Lakewood I tried for four months to cancel my membership, sending emails, calling the studio, I even tried DMing the owner on her personal Instagram. I had to continue paying the unlimited membership every single month and hadn’t gone to a single class in that span. The owner did eventually send me a text on month three saying she had cancelled my membership, this was the first and only response I got at all. After she sent that text my account was charged yet again the next month. I had to contact my bank and spend even more money on a block payment towards her business. The customer service is terrible and I have been continuing to call the studio trying to get a refund and can never even get through to a voicemail because the box is so full. I used to recommend this studio to everyone but I would never encourage someone to go here anymore. My mom and a friend of mine both had similar experiences when cancelling their memberships. It is totally unacceptable and in poor practice.

Do not go here!! Jessica (the owner) is rude, condiscending,u and not to be trusted. The people that work for her are fine but she does not care about her customers, customer service or surrounding neighbors. Save your time and definitely your money and find a better studio.

I love The Source!! I started here as a beginner over a year ago and have never felt so welcomed and comfortable in a yoga studio. Jessica and all of the teachers are abosolutely amazing and create a safe environment for their students to push themselves and truly find the beauty of yoga.

I originally loved this studio. Amazing classes, such great prices. However, I have had some really poor customer service experiences. I went to a class with a new instructor who was extremely nervous. I was told we would get a free four class pass due to the quality of that class. However, when I followed up about getting the classes, no one responded to me. Additionally, I had a discrepancy with my credits (I should have had more than what was showing in my account). I e-mailed the owner about this, got a response that she would look into it, and never heard anything back, despite several attempts to reach back out to her. I'm so sad about this, because I loved the studio, but after I use the credits I have showing in my account (even though there should be more), I don't think I'll be purchasing anymore class passes due to the poor level of customer service.
