I don't like to give 1 star reviews so I didn't but I felt I'd be forthcoming with service. This applies to the massages not the yoga. The 2 stars is given to the fact that the massage was awesome. But that's really where the good news ends. The scheduling process is archaic to say the least and even though there is "technically" a website on which you can schedule an appointment, it doesn't work. You actually have to call or text the owner who then finds out via text or phone which employees are available and then coordinate with your schedule. Very confusing to the point where I showed up for a massage and was stood up for 45 minutes before I even found out any information about what was happening. Different people weren't communicating and despite the valid circumstance for the cancellation, I never received word. So it's a fault on a number of people but reflects back on the business. I finally did get the massage though and it was a very pleasant experience! If you can navigate their archaic system and actually talk to some human beings to schedule, you might enjoy the services. I don't know yet if I'll be back...

I've really enjoyed my experiences at Yoga Loft Dayton. Jess is a favorite yoga teacher I've ever had. I enjoy yoga classes that are both very physically challenging and mentally relaxing/peaceful and Yoga Loft offers perfect classes for that and others to suite your needs. I would definitely recommend!

I recently went to The Yoga Loft for a 4-Handed 60-Minute Ayurvedic Massage. The massage itself was fine (the therapists' pressures were very well-matched) but there was a very loud yoga class going on beside us, which may as well have been in the same room. Just before the class started, a couple individuals were talking (presumably setting up for the class), and one said, "There isn't a massage in there, is there?" YES, YES, THERE WAS. The noise completely ruined the massage. The following day, I decided to contact the manager to voice my frustrations and left a message on their voicemail. I didn't get a call back until exactly 1 week later, and when I did, she acted as if having a quiet massage was such a novel idea. I'm not naive enough to believe that this business wouldn't know that people expected quiet, relaxing massages. She did not offer any return payment or repeat service to rectify the situation.

Also, when I originally scheduled the appointment, I first tried to use the online scheduling. When I didn't get a response after several days, I called and scheduled by phone. I eventually got an email response TWO WEEKS after my initial request with a date suggestion. Good grief- if you can't respond within 72 hours, don't offer that service.
