We are Thrive Athletics-CrossFit Paper City! We now are offering Softball & Baseball lessons. Ages 5 to 18. Lessons offered are pitching, hitting, fielding, throwing, catching and mental aspects of the game. We also are offering the most effective fitness classes that simultaneously improve strength, endurance and overall health! We have daily adult classes plus kid, preteen and teen 6 to 8 week classes strength training.

My pre-teen and teens all loved the teen class. We’ve also seen gains with hitting and pitching practices for both baseball and softball. Wonderful people who honestly care and invest their time and energy in each kid

I tried to talk myself outta of joining and made up a million excuses. But, Im SO glad I swallowed my pride and walked through those doors. From my first question and class, every single person has supported me and encouraged me in my journey. You’re never too old for a better version of yourself. CrossFit Paper City has changed how I feel about working out entirely! I’m not a gym girl or a sports girl. I’ve never enjoyed going to the gym. Even a moderate to strenuous hike would intimidate and discourage me. My husband and I had heard great things about this gym and thought we would check it out. The rumors are true and we immediately fell in love. Every coach has made me feel empowered and encouraged as well as challenged. I feel so safe knowing my form is being watched and perfected. Daphne and Brian have created an amazing sense of community and acceptance. Now, I love to work out! CrossFit Paper City has become the highlight of my day! I’m becoming great friends with other members. I love that my husband and I work out together. Lastly, I feel so much more confident in my own body and it’s ability to adapt and grow stronger. No hike is too much!
If you are looking for something new when it comes to fitness I cannot recommend CrossFit Paper City enough.

I’ve been coming to CrossFit Paper City for about two months now. I have been relatively inactive for the last 5 years since leaving the Army following a back injury. I’ve always been super nervous about getting back into exercising because I didn’t want to re-injure myself. CrossFit Paper City has been awesome! The on-ramp program was a great way to get re-acclimated with a big focus on proper technique, and the coaches have all done a great job of tailoring different exercises to my individual abilities, with a focus on making sure I’m not doing anything wrong to hurt myself again. It’s also a really supportive group of people, regardless of ability level. I’ve got people I don’t even know (in different classes) pumping me up with encouragement every day! It’s a great atmosphere to be a apart of!!

Just finished my Onramp and with this being my first adventure into crossfit I couldn't be happier!!! Coaches genuinely cared about making sure my firm was right and that I was learning how to do this without getting hurt! It was an uplifting, fun, encouraging, great environment!!!!! Daphene & Brian are awesome people & trainers! Getting to know them, their pups & learn about CrossFit have been so fun the past couple weeks. Their on ramp classes were very informative & fun! I met with Coach Daphne for my consultation . After sitting down and talking about my goals with her, I knew this place was for me. The atmosphere is great. There are people of all fitness levels. Everyone is so supportive! If there is something that I can’t do, they will modify the exercise for me. The coaches go through all of the movements and modifications before we start each class. They always make sure that you have options and are very encouraging . There is no one way. They will find something that works for you. I’m starting my 7th week of many many more:) I’m excited to see where I am in the next 6 months! Super thankful I found such a great place to work out.

CrossFit Paper City is an amazing place made even better by awesome people. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable. They take the time to make sure you understand every movement and personalize every workout to meet each individual’s fitness level. This gym is incredible in so many ways! I joined the gym so I could be more active regularly. I can honestly say that this gym has done more than that for me. Every time I walk in the door I am greeted by name, and I feel so welcomed always. I feel more confident, have more energy, am getting stronger and better, and I truly look forward to going. I’ve met awesome people that always encourage and support me. Each and every coach at the gym shows how much they care about every athlete. I would recommend CrossFit Paper City to ANYONE. I highly recommend!! I started the 6 week best self challenge, in hopes of getting into shape and that is exactly what I have achieved! I love the atmosphere, the coaching to push harder, and I have learned so much! I have never been one to lift weights but I have learned in the past 6 weeks the proper form to do so! If you are thinking about starting CrossFit or working out in general. Be sure to stop by and talk to Daphene! I am 6 weeks into my life long fitness journey, and I can’t wait to see where CrossFit Paper City takes me! Oh and during my 6 week challenge, I lost 5 pounds which doesn’t sound like a lot, but I wasn’t necessarily over weight when I started. I went from 135 to 130, but amazingly my BMI went from 27 to 22.5! And I lost 3 inches everywhere! I feel so much healthier, and better about myself, I’m not near as tired all the time!!

I began my journey 5 weeks ago with a goal to get in shape and lose weight. I love the supportive environment! I love being challenged to be the best that I can be! Crossfit Paper City is awesome! I signed up for the Best Self Challenge and in love with the changes my body has made already. I love that every day is something different without the boring repeating of the same thing over and over. The exercises really work on gaining strength and getting fit. This place is wonderful!

So i wanted to post this on your page or as a review but it was too long but i had decided to participate in the 6 week challenge and at the beginning of week 4, i unfortunately had to stop participating due to my business getting overwhelming and had to drop out but in those 4 weeks Daph made some drastic changes in my life by pushing me each and everyday and training me into this person I am now, and this is what her program has done for me and of course you will only get out of it what you put into it and i gave it my all, and ill start with the positives. I get my blood sugar, blood pressure, and weight monitored through this machine i have here at the house I went to my doctors appt today after only 4 weeks of this challenge and was told that my A1C level is officially below 7 and blood sugar levels have been normal for weeks now if you don't know what that is, well its how they measure if your diabetic or not and if your in the 6s your not considered diabetic so i was put on a much lower dosage because they think im no longer diabetic!! I was also informed my blood pressure has been normal for the past 9 days, and to top it all off I was 250lbs in the beginning and i lost 18lbs!!!! So she has changed my life and could've potentially just added multiple years on to my life!!! I only wish I was able to continue and complete the challenge but, in my eyes I got more out of this program than anyone in my shoes or in my family could have ever imagine so I see myself as a graduate of this challenge even though i wasn't able to do a certain amount of days. So i hope my testimony that I have just shared with you all can some way be shared or posted to your wall to show everyone that with just a small change in eating, working out, and a little bit of proper encouragement from an exceptional amazing person your life can be turned around 180 degrees I love you all and you will all always be my friends, such an amazing life changing 4 weeks, i highly encourage anyone suffering from some of my same problems i was to contact daphne on the phone or on their Facebook and begin transforming your body, mind, and health!!!

I absolutely love this gym and the people who run it! Having moved here from Texas it was difficult to find somewhere I fit in and these people welcomed me with open arms. When my partner had a heart attack and stroke a few months later the staff went out of their way to help him do cardiac rehab! They truly tailor workouts for every individuals needs and it is a wonderfully encouraging and judgment free zone!

This place is incredible! The staff are knowledgeable, and the on-ramp class is so helpful to becoming familiar with the movements before jumping into class. Daphene actually takes the time to coach you one on one! This isn't your ordinary crossfit gym, it is truly tailored to every fitness level and an amazing community. If you're on the fence about trying it out, DO IT! You won't regret it.

I've not regretted one minute or dollar spent on Bootcamp at Crossfit Paper City! I'm very out of shape and need all the support I can get, and I've found nothing but encouragement and kindness on my road back to health. I feel I can reach out with questions. my previous motto for life before joining CROSSFIT PAPER CITY was "Jana has no desire to PERSPIRE." I refused to work out.. haaaaaaated it.. literally refused.
i knew i needed to do something.. but kept using the excuse of UGHHHHH.. I DONT WANNA GET STUCK IN A CORPORATE GYM CONTRACT where you're literally signing your life away.. and..pfffffft!!!! the equipment? how do i even use it?!
well..i have the owner as a facebook friend and i have known of her for quite some time.. I know she has passion, knowledge, and dedication to EVERY person that walks through the door.. this was known to me BEFORE i joined..
i messaged her out of curiosity and she had me come in for a consult.. it was NO PRESSURE and it was truly a time where she got to know your body so she could give you the best experience :)

Where do I start, this gym is what I think about when I think of the perfect gym. It started with the location being close to home and a walk through the door. It quickly moved to the fantastic coaches and the awesome energy and the knowledge from the coaches. They are eager to help you become better and healthier and will take time with you. I highly recommend the on ramp class prior to starting as it gives you the knowledge and skill to complete every workout. Also, the coaches understand what you are striving for and WILL get you there and further, while having fun! The classes are intense for EVERY level athlete, and you will love the diverse workout combinations. I will definitely continue to workout here for years to come! :)

I was really skeptical with joining here. I had been to previous gyms who also preach "Judgement Free" and they were not. I was anxious and miserable with myself when all I wanted to do was better myself! My weight has been a struggle for years and I've had enough.
This place is literally a godsend. I was welcomed with friendly faces who not only make you feel comfortable, but make you feel like you belong. This place truly is judgement free. Everyone is at a different level, and every workout is tailored to suit you. There's never a feeling of "I cant do this". The other gym members encourage and push each other to better themselves, but never in a derogatory manner. I look forward to going to a gym for once in my life and I plan on continuing to go and work with my crossfit family.

This place got me back in the door after I had a baby and had not exercised for a year and a half by advertising boot camp classes. The classes were amazing and got me back in the swing of things and made me feel like me again. Everyone was so welcoming and encouraging, I just couldn’t stop after boot camp, so I joined as a member! It just feels like home and makes me look forward to working out...which I didn’t think was possible:) LOVE this place and these people!!
