This gym will kick your ASS!!! I love that they have a body scan to start and you can see exactly what’s water, muscle, and fat. In the one month I’ve been coming here, I lost 7lbs of fat and gained 2lbs of muscle! All of the trainers are AWESOME and super helpful. The group environment really helps me stay accountable with my weight goals. You will leave with tons of sweat and even more satisfaction

TrAk isn’t the kind of gym where you wander around guessing what to do. The coaches know when to push, when to adjust, and when to celebrate your progress. Five years in and I’m still finding new challenges here — which says a lot about the coaching and the programming. Coaching at TrAk has been an exceptional experience for me. The members here are truly inspiring, and it’s awesome to see people from all over the Akron/Fairlawn area of all ages and backgrounds come together to improve their health and fitness.

One of my bffs had been trying to get me to TrAk for years since she joined. I hesitated for years, spending time at another gym where I inadvertently gained weight which made me lose motivation after almost two years of not seeing results. Don't get me wrong, I was still working out which was better than the nothing Id done during covid. But I finally joined TrAk for the 12-wk program...and about 15 weeks later (couple weeks off in the middle off due to work), I'm down 10 lbs, have gained strength (125 DL!) and have such a positive support system even though I'm still really new. AND everyone who's so positive and motivating has been there for years...because they are STILL seeing results and are still sore after years of consistently attending classes. And coach Sean...though I can rarely make it to his classes, Sean has followed up with me every week to see how I'm doing, how I'm feeling, what my challenges are, and given me so much great advice on simple high protein food switches that have actually stuck. He's such a positive light and motivating force to just keep moving even if every day is not my best. I can't wait to see what the next 12 weeks bring for me now that I've started a routine. Consistency. That's what everyone has said...and it's working and motivating.

This is your gym if you want to:

A. Just show up and have a concise hour of muscular and cardiovascular exercises already planned out.
B. Lose weight, gain muscle, and just be able to move through life more easily.
C. Spend the workout around really great people – often brining a smile and even a laugh to your day.
D. Have coaches that care about your progress and are super helpful.
E. Feel that natural high from a great workout. If I am having a bad day, I go to TrAk because my mood will have shifted for sure by the end of the workout.
F. Workout without judgement from anyone about your fitness level or how much weight you are lifting.

You might think it is expensive but if I compare what I get from TrAk to a cheaper gym, the price is easily justifiable. I thought I was saving money for 25 years before I joined TrAk but in reality, my fitness and attitude about life was in decline. TrAk has turned both around for me.

This six week challenge has been amazing! I did the challenge remotely from BC and still felt connected to the people in Ohio while I lost 15.2 lbs. The meal plan is easy enough to choose good foods from and the recipes in the recipe book are awesome. I think I tried all of them. My workouts were challenging but awesome. It was personalized for me half way thru as I had surgery on my hand so was limited to lower body and core and the workouts were still awesome. Checking in on FB helped me feel connected and the she support from others was great! I would recommend this six week challenge to everyone. Many of my friends and colleagues asked me what I was doing and I told them to check out TrAk. I only wish I lived closer so I could come visit and experience a live workout with the coaches.

I first found out about TrAk athletics through an Instagram post. I had already been working out as it was but the 6 week challenge offered a diet plan and everything else with it so i decided, what do i have to lose? Might as well try it out. It was one of the best life decisions i ever made. Whether i win my challenge or not doesn’t matter to me now. I met a lot of great people in the gym and the coaches are amazing. It’s a little pricey but worth every penny in the end. TrAk has changed my life for the better. I probably would of never dieted like this or even ventured out to eating different foods on my own. I plan on carrying the experience into my everyday life from this point on. Again, if you have the chance to experience TrAk, i highly recommend it. You won’t regret it. It may sound very cliché but this place is truly different.

I walked into TrAk with a desire to regain the physicality I had lost after having three kids and starting my own business. Dave (the owner) took over an hour from his day to have a completely honest conversation about why I was there and what the journey to his front door looked like. We talked about my kids, my job, my physical limitations (I have a bum left knee) and my goals. You could tell that he genuinely cared about me as a person.

He told me he could help me. I believed it.

Several months in and I can honestly say that their program works like gangbusters. The big thing for me is that they created a personalized plan so I always know what I’m working on when I walk in the door. The coaches are knowledgable and the groups offer an energy and motivation unlike anything I have experienced before.

I feel better than I have in almost a decade. My knees issue is completely gone, I eat better, sleep better and have a ton of energy.

Dave and Lauren from TrAk have been helping me not just get my fitness in order, but also my diet. I texted Dave from the bar and told him I was about to order some junk. He talked me down. He reminded me how far I'd come in my attempts to get healthier. I don't think they do that at any 'gym' you can join. They are my support team and I can't tell you how much I appreciate it.

I have been working out at TrAk for over a year now and I cannot even speak to how wonderful the gym is. First off it is the cleanest and nicest gyms that I have ever been to. However it is the people that make this place great. Dave and Lauren are the most kind and caring people who really want to see you succeed. TrAk Athletics is different than your normal type of gym. It's not loaded with machines and treadmills, but it's also not a Crossfit gym. The reason I like it so much is the work outs are designed to be very FUNCTIONAL, meaning they are beneficial to the way our bodies move and operate on a daily basis.

Dave & Lauren really care about what your goals are and even taking the time talk and inspire about things outside of them gym. Like they say, "Live BIG!".

This place is awesome! Great classes and coaches with a unique community feel. Workouts are really well designed and you start seeing results quickly. A cool mix of people that are positive and friendly. The gym uses an awesome website and app to track progress and you can check the workouts to see what is going on that day. Highly Recommend!
