Russ's program is refreshingly straightforward yet remarkably powerful: slow, high-weight, low-impact movements for just 20 minutes once a week. It may not be flashy or trendy, but its safety, innovation, and incredible effectiveness speak volumes. Over the years, this program has empowered me to maintain strength, endurance, and a deep confidence in my body. I’m still engaging in the activities I love, moving with intention, and feeling incredibly strong.

One defining moment stands out vividly: at 80 years old, I still work a few days a week, moving with the vitality of someone half my age. This kind of strength isn’t merely a stroke of luck; it is cultivated week by week under Russ’s expert guidance.

What I value most is that this program isn’t about chasing the elusive fountain of youth—it’s about honoring the body you possess and ensuring it remains capable and resilient. I’ve witnessed countless people burn out or sustain injuries in their pursuit of quick fixes. This program, however, is designed for the long term, and I am living proof of its transformative potential.

Russ possesses a remarkable gift—not only for training but also for truly understanding people. He meets you where you are, encourages you just enough, and always keeps your safety in the forefront. Throughout this entire journey, I have never felt rushed or overlooked. Such genuine care is truly a rarity, and it makes all the difference.

You will not find a more beneficial workout regiment that requires so little time anywhere. I have been going once a week for four years and I can attest that the strength and flexibility I have gained at Triggerpoint has exceeded any expectations I might have had prior.

Starting Trigger Point has been a great experience. I can see increased strength and size in my arms and legs in less than 18 weeks. It is easier for me to do daily activities, like walking, playing golf and house work. Russ carefully supervises me during my workouts and we always have interesting conversations. He is fun to work with and has over 50 years experience so I trust him. He is especially good with older adults but he works with all age groups.

I am 74 years old and have been with Russ at Trigger Point from day one -25 years. His program of slow, high weight, low impact training for 20 minutes once a week is extremely safe, and has provided me with a good level of strength and endurance. Highly recommend.

I would still be laying on my floor at home with out the professional help I've gotten here. My health and physical strength has increased so much that I can physically walk again for good distances. I will be here for life.

The trainers are excellent. Their attention to the details of your workout, which is designed to accommodate your needs, is impressive. You will feel, and see results within the first couple sessions...at least I did.

I started weight training over six years ago. I noticed within 3 weeks that I no longer had those nagging aches when I got out of bed.
I continued for six months and used the device to reevaluate my body composition. A great surprise, while I wasn't trying to loose weight, and didn't, my weight stayed the same- but I lost 3 pounds of body fat and gained 3 pounds of muscle!
I can say now that I am not at all bulky but have pretty "girl" muscles, at 75 years of age.
Muscle loss in aging is a sign of decline in many health markers. I am pushing that unenviable consequence forward to extreme old age with my short weekly strength training session. It is a good use of time and the perfect solution for me.
