I love being a member at TriHealth Fitness Pavilion β the facility is always clean, the staff is great, and itβs an awesome environment for working out. One small suggestion: it would be even better if Friday and weekend hours could be extended a little later, maybe closer to the weekday closing times. It would really help those of us with busy schedules. Thanks for providing such a great place to stay active!

Today, I visited TriHealth Fitness & Health Pavillion for the first time with a young man with autism whom I have worked with as a caregiver for the past five years. Upon arrival, I was informed that I could be designated as his personal assistant, which I accepted, and I completed the necessary documentation. I was also advised that my role required me to stay with him and that this designation did not grant me general access to the facility. This was completely understandable, as I have a membership elsewhere and was there strictly in a professional capacity.
During our visit, I was responsible for ensuring that he could complete basic tasks independentlyβsomething he is more than capable of, as he demonstrates daily. After accompanying him to the pool area, I briefly stepped outside to retrieve my car so I could pick him up at the entrance due to the rainy weather. At that time, he was in the menβs locker room changing, which, of course, I am not permitted to enter. As I pulled up, a staff member, a short brunette woman approximately 60 years old (whose name I believe is Michelle), abruptly approached me and confiscated my personal trainer card. She stated, in a rude and unprofessional manner, βYou have to be with him at all times. He was confused. I need your card back,β and then informed me that she would be calling his father.
Given that I have worked closely with this young man for years, I immediately reached out to his father myself to explain the situation. We both understand his abilities, and what this staff member perceived as βconfusionβ was simply the natural curiosity of a 25-year-old man who is more than capable of exiting a building he had just entered without assistance. Furthermore, I was following the facilityβs own guidelinesβI cannot accompany him into the menβs locker room, yet I was reprimanded for not being physically present with him at every moment.
I had been considering making this my home gym since it is convenient for both of us, but after this experience, I will not be doing so. Instead, I will be staying at Lifetime Fitness, where I have taken him many times and have always been met with kindness and a welcoming environment.
I am both shocked and disappointed by the way I was treated and, more importantly, how he was unfairly profiled. A facility affiliated with TriHealth should uphold a higher standard of professionalism and inclusivity. I sincerely hope that this matter is addressed and that staff receive the appropriate training to interact with individuals of all abilities in a more respectful and informed manner.

Unfortunately they would not let me participate with my wife who was a patient and she is looking for an excuse to stop so this will likely be it. Wouldnβt let me walk on the indoor track while she was here :-(. Even though insurance was paying $150/day for my wife to attend.
They say it was for liability reasons but wouldnβt let me sign a waiver. Not very family friendly.
Thank you for your response. I only asked to be able to walk the track, something that requires no maintenance and doesnβt impact fitness members who use the rest of the facilities. Allowing a designated driver for cardio rehab patients to spend the time waiting, walking the track would improve the health of all involved. Just a thought.

Terrific facility. Lots of options for walking, running, machines, three pools, terrific staff. Would note that there are a lot of adult exercisers who are rehabbing or keeping up health as they age. Not as many young people as other gyms.

(Although my husbandβs name is listed above, this review was written by myself, Nancy Pevets.)
As an almost-70 year-old with IPF (idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, an incurable and irreversible lung ailment,) as well as balance issues caused by a bone l shattered in my right foot during a fall several years ago, l was hesitant to join the Fitness Pavilion.
However, that decision has had a life-changing, positive impact on my life and health. Justin gave me a thorough orientation as to the proper use of the equipment.
Parmjitβs chair yoga classes have helped me relax, learn to breathe more deeply, and gain strength and balance.
My latest venture has really surprised me. When l first joined Julieβs DanceFit class, l had to hold on to the wall or barre for balance. I struggled to pivot, kick, and move without stumbling. I struggled to catch my breath. But, three months later, my balance, strength, and agility (along with my breathing) are vastly improved.
I heartily recommend the TriHealth Fitness Pavilion to any of my older contemporaries.

Veterans BEWARE. Never again. EVER. I am a veteran. I have to see my primary care provider at the VA so that I do not lose my benefits at the VA. TriHealth Demanded that I stop seeing my primary care at the VA to be seen in their Hypermobile/Fibromyalgia even though I had 2 different referrals to the doctor. I will NOT waste my time sifting and sending medical records just to be forced to give up my benefits at the VA....the ones that pay for my mortgage because my symptoms forced me to lose my job. My retirement is gone. I have nothing left. The complete despair that I feel hit hard. I screamed once and cried. I am a human. Someone saw me and stopped me to give me a hug and tell me everything will be ok. So I stopped and cried and told her some of what was going on. The office that I had the appointment with sent a representative to force me out of the building even though I was already going willingly. I only stopped because someone was kind.

My daughter's birthday party was very poorly organized.. The pool party was not what I expected . .I was told the host would keep the kids busy with relay races and other activities but instead they just sat at the pool watching while the kids in our party were questioned by other adult guests of the pavilion if the were "members" because they were upset they were splashed ( during a private pool birthday party the pool is still available to other guests) by the time we got our pizza it was nearing the end of the party so several people had already left .. ( they forgot to order the pizza and have it ready for when the kids came back from the pool and they didn't . I asked when the pizza was coming and found out it wasn't ordered . I was asked if I could drive to go get the pizza and I said no so they finally went and got it ) staff really didn't seem to care . I did ask about getting a discount for all the issues and was given $20 off .

It's a wonderful facility which I've used for years. I'm limited to working out in the Warm Water Pool (formerly named Therapy Pool). My issue, which I've shared with management prior to COVID, is allowing swim lessons during therapy time. I hope today's swim lesson during Tuesday morning therapy time was an aberration and that swim lessons in the warm water pool will limited to scheduled swim lesson time slots which I respect and avoid. I came to practice walking on my newly replaced ankle and the walking lanes were being used for therapy (appropriate) and a swim lesson which involved splashing and use of the remaining walking lanes. It was an excellent swim lesson which, in my opinion, should have been conducted in the main pool or outside pool. My sons and I learned to swim either outdoors or in a regular pool -- not a warm
water pool.
6 MONTHS LATER: 5 stars ***** All of my concerns have been addressed. The schedule now allows for adult time for those needing time to workout in the warm water pool.

I have had physical therapy here several times over the years. This includes aqua therapy in one of their two pools. The therapists are, in my opinion, great. Always with a lookout to your comfort, yet still making sure they are doing all they can to ensure your therapy progression.
Although I've never had the pleasure of working out in the gym, or running on the indoor track, I have seen them and was very impressed.
The Pavilion has so much to offer it would take pages to list it all. And though membership may be a bit on the expensive side, it doesn't compare to the benefits they offer.
The facility is always neat and clean and I've never had a bad experience at the 'Pavilion'.

Everyone at Trihealth is very friendly! The staff are very nice and you can tell a lot of people working out here know each other. Itβs welcoming for people of all sizes, fitness levels, and ages. That being said, the facilities are really old - machines are old, mats are old, and itβs very dingy. The locker rooms, gym floor, and pool areas desperately need to be thoroughly cleaned and given new carpet, paint, lockers, etc. None of the cardio machines are even new enough to have individual screens or adaptive courses. The weight floor equipment is functional but tired-looking and mismatched.

I have been a member here for several years. This place has great equiptment and great extra amenities like a warm water pool, hot tub , track, and basketball court. I only wish they would have more open free time in the basketball gym and stayed open longer than 8pm . They were open till 10 before the pandamic but 9pm would help several people in not feeling rushed in their workouts.

TriHealth Pavilion is a superior facility- very clean, well staffed and mostly very "adult". The fitness equipment is excellent and I truly appreciate the self-monitoring aspect of the machines. The fitness staff is generally very good. They are very supportive of the members who are older or have special needs. The locker rooms are nicely appointed and maintained. The quality of classes are very good. My only wish is that there were more classes offered in late afternoon/evening hours for those of us who still work. We used to go to Blue Ash Y and switched after my husband did therapy in the warm water pool. It is nice to work out without sharing the facilities with running, noisy kids. Don't get me wrong- I am a teacher- love kids and also enjoy getting a break from them!

Iβve been a member here for several years. We love being able to bring our children and get a solid workout in. The kids center is great, the staff is fantastic. The classes and the assortment of equipment are great.
They hired a new aquatics person who is really nasty to patrons. She makes up rules for the pool area, yells at children, and never has a smile on her face. Itβs too bad, because the pool is something we used to really enjoy. Marcie needs some more training in the Trihealth customer service standards.
