Our fundamental aim is to provide a proven, effective workout that any fitness level can master. You will build lean muscle mass, increase flexibility, decrease body fat and improve your posture. This fat-burning session is guaranteed to sculpt arms, thin thighs, tighten abs and lift your seat. With a consistent practice, participants rave about the physical and mental benefits of this intense workout. Most barre enthusiasts find that their bodies transform, making it leaner, longer and stronger. This workout is effective by itself and is wonderful if you want to combine other practices. (Yoga, running, cycling, lifting, crossfit...etc)

Sue and her team always ensure that each and every person in class are doing exactly the right thing for that persons unique needs. I have done barre with Sue since the day she opened and she has helped keep me strong despite having a connective tissue disorder that keeps me from being able to do certain exercise safely. She and her team have guided me through two pregnancies and a physically demanding job and have balanced the line between pushing me to achieve more and keeping me safe from injury.

I just had my first visit. This is a beautiful studio / boutique.I felt so welcomed by Sue the owner and instructor also all the women taking the class were very helpful. It was a great overall workout and I plan to continue this new positive journey. Itβs a feel good place. π

The Medina Tru Barre Studio (temporarily located in a dance studio on Route 18), also owned by Sue Costigan and staffed by personable, professional instructors who meet her high standards, offers an effective total body workout addressing core strength, flexibility and lean muscle toning in a one hour workout.
Adaptable to any fitness level or age (16-70+ is who I've seen so far), it's a fun, challenging and body-changing workout. It has been a great way to get back into regular fitness following years of absence from dance, yoga, bodybuilding, CrossFit. It's part of my fit-for-life plan. Check it out.

The studio is clean and pristine, easy to get to, and houses a little boutique of clothing lines you canβt find anywhere else around here.
The owner Sue and her instructors are beautiful inside & out, are super approachable, knowledgeable and vigilant about providing the intense, fulfilling and safe workouts you expect.
I love the βno-impactβ aspect the best because I have lousy knees. And I love how every class is structured the same with many of the same exercises so that I can establish familiarity and truly focus on mastering each pose. Itβs not a one size fits all exercise because there are modifications and challenge options offered for every pose. Iβm addicted to Tru Barre and canβt wait for my next class!
