I’ve been going to Turning Point fitness for several years and it’s been the best workout I’ve ever had.
This is a Pilates studio; it’s not a gym and it’s NOT the other Pilates studios where they offer strictly group classes. TPF offers private, semi-private, and small classes on the equipment designed by Joseph Pilates. Pilates’ main focus is on your core—and a strong core will support your back, especially if you’re experiencing back issues, according to my rheumatologist.
The instructors are very knowledgeable about the Pilates method. Every week we work out on various pieces of equipment with an instructor. I do semi-private sessions and the instructors act as personal trainers to make sure you’re doing the workout correctly. After each workout, they provide us with a small towel and sanitizer, so the equipment is always clean each time we use it.
Over time, my body began to feel stronger and leaner. I lost about an inch in my hips and dropped a size in my jeans. This is my workout for life—I will never go back to a typical “gym.” If you’re not getting the results you want with your current workout regimen, I highly recommend Pilates; and specifically Turning Point Fitness.
