At the gym, there was a guy at the front desk, and I asked him some questions about the gym and the prices, but from his face I could see anger or that he didn’t want to help me or answer my questions. Right away, I left, surprised by how he treated me. Then I went to Planet Fitness gym, and I received a warm welcome and found very affordable prices. Honestly, I’m very happy to have become a member of Planet Fitness. At first, I had gone to the wrong place where the customer service was bad.

Absolute garbage. The employees can’t figure out what my contract says. Six months ago one employee says I can cancel to avoid the large payment. Now another says I signed up for two years. Locker rooms are disgusting and clients are shady. STAY AWAY

One of the worst gyms I’ve ever been to, not only is their equipment half maintained, the system itself is outdated with physical cards. Management was not able to assist us and staff is trained incorrectly as well according to the manager. Hours of operation make it inconvenient to train. Go to Crunch instead.

I scheduled an appointment for a private training session for a Sat, not last week Saturday with the male manager.

I had to travel.

Every statement out of his mouth after saying I'll reschedule later is.

I'm sorry you got it wrong!
I'm sorry you want to change your private coach because you got it wrong.
Good bye since you got it wrong.

The lack of empathy was disgusting.

Why he couldnt just say " its all good, lets reschedule. He continued to end every statement with 'You got it wrong'. So anger provoking. He had to keep stating that.

When I called him to cancel. He said he was going to cancel my membership and my parents membership even though theirs is paid by their insurance and mine with my own money, and they had absolutely NOTHING to do with this.

Yes. He probably has the right to cancel my parents' membership, but you can see how deep he is trying to win over a dumb issue as who was written or wrong on a schedule.

He literally told me that if I don't stop arguing because we clearly disagreed, he would cancel both my parents and mine.

Don't spend your hard end money where the management is disgusting.

Update: My membership has been canceled. Let's see if my parents' membership even though they were not involved.

Update 2: Today the Billy asked my father to stop using their gym.

If a business owner is this vengeful & wants to extend his evil to your family not related to the issue, DO NOT spend your money here.

Thief’s are targeting cars in the parking lot and police don’t respond they want reports filed online, when I asked for the surveillance footage the manager sent me video of the incident after the the break In then when I questioned him about what he sent he didn’t respond via text.Very unprofessional and sanitary conditions. Not a fan of this location. I cancelled my membership in 6/24 and I’m still being charged. I called to get this situation handled and I was told although I cancelled in June, got charged for June and now was charged for July that I cannot receive a refund. I expected to get charged in June but 6 weeks after I cancelled is ridiculous. So if you’re looking for a good clean gym, this is not the gym for you. The woman’s locker room smells like sewage, and even if you sign a paper saying you’ve cancelled services rest assured that you will be charged again. Save yourself some time and money and go somewhere else.

I have been a member at this Gym for quite some time. There is nothing negative I can say. It’s always very clean, tons of equipment, Sauna, Pool, even a ladies area for privacy. Billy ( Manager) is amazing as well. Everyday as soon as you walk in you are greeted with a smile and small talk. If I ever have any concern about anything I would feel completely comfortable addressing those concerns with him. I look forward to continuing my fitness journey and goals at Victory for years to come. Thank you for treating me like family.

I've been to at least 100 gyms; as you can see I reviewed half of them on here. I don't remember their not being a/c unless it was some open air gym in mexico city, where there is no humidity anyways so you don't sweat. Even if I wanted to spend time shopping for new clothing after sweat destroys it or making sure every time I just lift an don't do cardio I shower right after or break out.

I love this place , it’s 7 years now I been going to this gym . When I first started going there someone broke in my car and they couldn’t do anything for me that was upsetting so I would say it’s not very safe from my experience they should have better cameras there but I never give up till this day I am still going .it’s great I love the equipment and the sauna and the pool the hot tube it’s great , peaceful place. I just hope they will change the hours of this gym . Specially on weekends those are the only days most people are off and they want to enjoy the gym but short hours Saturday and Sunday . I am very unhappy about this I hope they can open longer til 6pm on weekends to be honest . I have a friend who goes there too he says the same thing 8am-3 on Saturday are you kidding me!

Went with my nephew, mostly to just hang out with him lol. But it was a really nice gym and work out facility. Everything was really clean and the people were exceptionally friendly I would definitely recommend victory fitness Center to everyone, great customer service, and very nice atmosphere.

The machines equipment is good, especially if you are just starting out. The hot tub, sauna and pool are definitely pluses.There is ample parking and the front of location is well lit. The other members are friendly and Rita/Ann at the front desk are great! Jeff does an excellent job of keeping the area, especially the bathrooms clean.

My only issues is the maintenance and selection of the equipment. There have been instances where machines stayed broken for extended periods of time.

If your goal is a facility multiple amenities for a decent price, Victory Fitness is for you.

The lady’s workout area always had broken machines, even before COVID. When attempting to cancel my membership, the lady on the phone hung up on me when I said I wasn’t interested in staying at this gym. Upon calling back, she said she thought that meant the conversation was over. I received emails from the billing department saying to contact Victory and they would help me cancel. When contacting Victory, they said that billing would do it. It was very hard to find who could actually help me cancel my membership.

As someone who has social anxiety I love coming here as it’s lowkey and very spacious. There’s also a women’s room and plenty of equipment that is properly spaced out to accommodate the social distancing rule. I feel safe coming here and the staff are always very welcoming :)

haven't been to this place in years but my main memory is the owners daughter made a rude comment to me & in front of someone else. i used the handheld fat loss monitor & she was so shocked/disgusted with what it said. & she was over the top by saying how it was "really bad!" like i was obese & huge. when I was really small then so it wasn't even bad? she should watch what she says to people with those comments can give someone low self esteem etc. specially when I was small at that time, so I worry what she might say to other people? when I think/talk about this place, this is the only thought I have. made me not ever wanna go there again. I also called in when I did workout there to see if someone worked out there because I had a restraining order on them & she told someone my personal business about it. other than that it was fine.

I wish I could give negative stars for how filthy and disgusting this establishment is. I put up with their filthy gym, low class clientele, constant broken equipment, unqualified trainers, and just over all complete waste of money for almost 2 years since it was close to my home but upon trying to cancel my membership due to moving across town I was told they couldn't do it. They are so hard up for money that they really need my $52 for 2 months that I won't even be using their disgusting gym. Everyone who works there should be embarrassed and ashamed of the disgusting pathetic excuse for a gym that they work at. I would never recommend this place to anyone and I am reporting them to the health department.

I am a new member and I am very impressed with the club. They have a wide variety of machines and exercise classes that are offered in the evenings for people that work. There is a great group of people in the evening classes that encourage me and make it fun to exercise. Also I find the staff very friendly and helpful there.

Although the West location's facility is new, the staff is also new and constantly changing and inexperienced. The present manager, Billy, has no concept of customer service or how to talk to people. They are unconcerned with meeting your needs and seem to know that because they have no "corporate" office or contact number there is nothing we can do except take the disrespect and pay for the membership. Presently my membership is up with Victory Fitness West and I would not ever recommend anyone signing up for one at the West location.

I love this place. My only complaint is the lack maintenance and they blast the heat..... I mean they should save on the heat bill by not blasting it.... It's a work out facility so it would feel good for it to be a bit cooler inside when u start sweating balls and u are just warming up. But as far as equipment for the pay u can't beat it.

We joined when they opened the new facility hoping they would maintain complete functionality, especially the pool and hot tub that i use to maintain lower pain levels. The pool has been closed at least 3 times since opening and the hot tub has been closed at least 15 days also the hot tub is rarely at a therapeutic temperature often ranging at 98-99 degrees instead at 101-102 it should be.

Overall the gym is decent. If you are new to training or working out in a gym this place has basic equipment to get the job done.

With that being said, I'm rather disappointed with how the place is managed. When I signed up for a membership at this establishment I was under the impression that I was doing so on a month by month basis. After switching to another facility, that offers more equipment and fits my needs a bit more, I find out that I'm actually under a two year contract with Victory. None of this was made clear when filling out my paperwork. My partner, who sat with me while I joined the gym, doesn't even recall a 2-year plan being discussed. According to them the only way to get out of this contract is to move at least 25 miles away from where the gym is located and bring in a letter showing the address change, or pay off the remaining balance of the contract.

While creating a contract to retain members may be a good business practice, deceiving your clientele into doing so is not. So to anyone thinking of joining this establishment, beware. Read ALL of the paperwork you're being asked to sign and make it abundantly clear what you want/are willing to pay for.

The gym is nice enough. I haven't been to classes yet, so I can't comment on that. However, I am rather disappointed that I had no clue there was a month to month membership. I was only told about the gold and silver passes that ended up being 2 year contracts. I'm only just now hearing about trial and month to month memberships! I felt a lot of sales pressure and caved, so unfortunately, I am stuck unless I move. I wasn't given the option to try the gym out to see if I even liked it enough to get a membership of any kind. Much like Katie I cancelled my membership and wrote out the letter before they moved and yet I found another month charged to my account after they stated my membership ended.. The paperwork was filled out long before the building was moved and I was told verbally a month before it ended that i wouldn't get any more charges... Yet here is another charge.. I'm hopeful this money is refunded as it is in VFC's error.

If I hear back from them I will update this review.

Update: I was told that although my membership ended in September (24month contract) I started my contract in November so I had to pay for November even though the membership ended in sept, so beginning of october I needed to pay for november... sounds odd.. if it started in November wouldn't it end in November? Well I will check my checking account next month and see if I get charged again.

I recently joined this fitness center. I intended to just register for three months, which I explained to the young man at the reception. This young man said I can opt out when ever I want to. I just found out that I cannot even opt out unless I move to a location at least 20 miles away from the GYM. I made it clear that I wanted just 3months membership and the very rude young man who signed me up bluntly told me I cant opt out. that my plan is for 36months ( but I wanted to be a member for just three months. I understand scouting for customers is a marketing strategy but deceiving customers into opting in is a complete turnoff. I have only visited this gym just 5times since march I became a member. I am disappointed.

This child named Brittany who stands at the front desk is rude, disrespectful and because of such, this company is no longer worthy of my money. As a member since 2005 I was horrified by the treatment that I received today at the West club. The child behind the counter named Brittany was rude, in telling me that my original membership card was no longer valid, after being previously told that I would have to pay $10 for a new one. (That fee was discussed during a previous visit)

They requested a photo for the membership to which I declined, then she asked for photo I.D. which I promptly gave her.

She rudely told me that if I dont take a photo, then I could not work out there. I reminded her that Im certain the company would be displeased that a customer of 10 years would have to close her account due to being disrespected. I picked up my phone to make a call and she said 'Who are you calling? Theres no one to call. Im the owner' I said 'You own this club' She replied 'Im the owners daughter'. I said 'I dont care who you are, Im trying to make a phone call". And she kept asking WHO I was trying to reach as if it were her business to know that.

While attempting to reach the person responsible for the account, she continued to tell me that I needed to take a photo or I couldnt work out there, its their policy and I must abide by such all the time. Im telling her 'Ma'am Im on the phone and Im not speaking to you. Particularly since you arent listening' She refused to give me my original membership card back unless I complied took a photo.

Eventually she told one of the other workers to call the police. I guess being a mature adult and knowing when to shut the hell up was too much work for her insecure self to handle. I left and located the 'corporate office' number. There I was greeted by 'Bambi' whose initial response to me:

1)All members must have photo id
2)You should have taken your phone call outside

I said 'The call I was making concerning the account? I was supposed to go outside and then come back' She said 'Yes' I asked 'And thats all you have to say?'
She actually said 'If you really had an account open for 10 years you would have had a photo by now' I was furious! This woman was not only unhelpful she even questioned that our account had been open that long. All she had to do was look into the records. Perhaps my canceled checks will convince her.

She said she would look into it. Since she was not there, she really cant say.

I normally do no use this club unless its along the route of something needed.
I have not had any problems or concerns with the East Club or the North Club as they are generally respectful and friendly.

I will discuss this with the other person on the account and Im certain the consensus is that we close the account and shop elsewhere.

Very friendly place. The separate ladies workout area made me feel comfortable and had plenty of equipment. I just visited from out of town and they only charge $10. The facilities are a little run down, but they are getting ready to move into a new place down the street. Hot tub and sauna were hot and clean. Only problem is no towels - not even for sale, so don't forget to bring one like I did. There were disenfectant spray bottles all around and paper towels to clean the machines.

I absolutely HATED this gym! To bad you have to give at least one star cause it don't even deserve that. I went with a friend with a 7 day free pass and on the very first day I was pushed into buying a membership that they wanted me to pay $100 to even sign up. Then on top of that I had accidently left a swimsuit and Hoodie from Victoria Secret that when I called the woman that answered the phone said it would be fine until I got to get it! I was on my way out of town for some family problems. A few days later I called because the family member had died and told the guy that answered the phone it would be a few days until I get back in town he then assured me my stuff was okay BEHIND THE DESK! I went in to pick my items up and after people telling me they had just seen the items they disappeared. I got a couple apologies and was told I would receive a call the next day once they checked with the cleaning guy, I waited 2 days and NO CALL so I called back and spoke to a manager named BRITTNEY and she was so rude and unprofessional. I told her someone should check the cameras and make sure a worker had not taken my items or someone didn't accidentally give them to someone else. She processed to tell me she was not worried about my items, it's not her problem and they should have never been left, she's not responsible and that I was a low life and to find something more to do then call and blame someone else. They didn't have signs posted about them taken no responsibility and had I been told that I would have sent someone in state to pick my items up, but instead I was assured they would be fine with I was grieving over a dead uncle!!!!.... THIS GYM IS BY FAR THE MOST Pathetic one out there. I would NEVER recommend it to anyone. And actually planet fitness is cheaper and way better.

The gym is kind gross there is never a disinfectant bottle around. Which means you sit in someone's elses post work out GROSS. Then when you ask for one the staff srugs and says they are out. Unlike the other big name gyms which have disinfectant on every one every piece of equipment!! I mean I am not trying to catch somthing Ajax cant get rid of.

This place is great! They have trainers who will work with you individually. I needed assistance for a contest weigh in and they helped me when other gyms turned me aside, thanks Shawn! The prices are fantastic. I would highly recommend them.
