My daughter loves this dance studio. Ms. Angel is so good with the little ones. She takes time with them and has patience, she also lets them explore dance with so free time in her classes, which my daughter loves. The people here put their heart and soul into their work, and genuinely believe in making dance accessible for all. Give them a chance! You will not be disappointed!

Our two small daughters attend this studio, and we could not be happier. The instructor, Miss Angel, is so supportive, gentle and patient. She and Kristina absolutely believe in their mission, which is to instill a love of dance within the community in an accessible way for ALL. "Fun" and "movement" is exactly what a 6 and 3-year old need, but many other dance studios, even for this age, fixate on perfection, at the risk of longer-term injury and, let's face it, reinforcing body image issues. Not here. Miss Angel's motto "Practice makes better (not perfect)" just about sums up the whole philosophy of this place, and we feel fortunate to have our girls be part of it.

My daughter has been dancing with these instructors since before the studio opened. They are the reason we joined them at this studio. They have the whole child’s well being in mind. They foster growth in dance, but also in creativity and self awareness. The classes teach technique and not a “follow the leader” just to remember a routine. We love, love, love this studio!

The experience my daughter and I have had at this studio has been wonderful. My daughter has experienced classes with teachers in lyrical dance, hip hop, tap, and ballet and each class and teacher has been nothing but the best with their knowledge, kindness, encouragement and positivity! I even tried out adult ballet myself after never dancing in my life and have had an amazing welcoming experience in that as well! Truly the best people!

We tried a few other dance studios before we found Village Creative Dance, so when I say this is by far the best dance studio in the area (maybe the world!), I mean it! Other studios seemed to move kids up in groups or by how much you pay. My daughter seemed more like a dollar sign or a number. At Village Creative Dance she’s a dancer with her own strengths and areas she needs to work on. She’s allowed to advance when she’s ready- mind and body- not when the calendar says she should.
Because each dancer is considered an individual, there isn’t that competitive atmosphere that can be prevalent in other dance schools. The dancers work together to encourage and help one another.
The teachers are kind, knowledgeable, and fantastic with children. My daughter would live at the studio if I let her.
And if that is not incredible enough, the studio actively tries to better its community through dance. I’ve never heard of a dance studio doing that. I’m so happy to be a part of it. I feel like my daughter is learning to be a better person and not just a better dancer (although her dance skills are definitely flourishing under their teaching)!

We love Village Creative Dance! My daughter is in the Creative Ballet class and has so much fun. Her instructor, Miss Angel, as well as the others at the studio are well versed in appropriate movement for young bodies to develop them safely, which is very important to me. My daughter loves the fun exercises they do. I love that the emphasis is on developing a love of dance and a body that can support it, not a one time performance or something at the end of a term. I also have done the adult ballet class, and really enjoyed moving my body in a low-key but fun way! Highly recommend checking out the studio.
