I wanted to say a huge thank you to – the staff of the Woodland Golf Club for the incredible food at the rehearsal dinner for the Nuzum wedding. The private party room was wonderful. Everyone walked into the room with the flames on the electric fireplace the color green (which was also the wedding colors) and background music playing. Eric (the manager) and Jason (the Executive chef) went above and beyond to make sure that all were relaxed and our needs were met. They even made sure that the lighting in the table centerpiece was already turned on when we arrived. The dishes were absolutely delicious, and we've heard nothing but compliments from our guests, especially about the hamburger sliders, green beans and charcuterie board. It was very important to us to have special diet options, and they delivered. The staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. Eric made the whole process smooth and stress-free. We couldn't have asked for better service, location, and food. This event was a great beginning to a wonderful wedding weekend. I highly recommend Eric and his staff at Woodland Golf Club.

Good course but overall had a lot of issues with Woodland when we played on Saturday 9/13
First off, they had 7 minute stagger tee times so we played the first two holes in 1 hour as there was a ton of congestion to get through! When we called the club house to tell them if a ranger can come out and push pace, the young lady said she was the only one working and this was Saturday at 11am! So that seemed to be the next concern! Then they charged prime rate of 62 bucks and they had punched the greens, no notification or discussion on their website or at check in! So that was frustrating to deal with that when holes dont get filled properly! Fairways were burnt out and was rock hard! Took a little over 5 hours to play 18 with a cart! We drove from east Columbus to play here as we enjoy playing different courses and we played here in the spring and was in really good shape!
For the weekend warrior, this probably isn't a big deal and for the majority of the visiting public its fine to just be out! But as a group of above average golfers, little things like this can get old quick! Just my 2 cents

What happened to golf! Revamped the club house and nice but now T times are so stacked up to make money that rounds take 5+ hours to play. It used to be our go to, but now it’s not fun. Small adjustment, don’t overbook and spread the t times out.

I live near Columbus and am always on the lookout for new courses to play. The course itself was great — a cool layout with rolling hills, water, and tree-lined fairways. It was a nice, unique course.
However, the pace of play was a serious issue. It took us six hours to play our round. We were waiting at every tee box, often stacked with the foursome in front of us. It seems the course is simply overbooked, with tee times spaced just seven minutes apart. That might be good for business, but it ruins the experience for players.
It’s a shame — I really liked the course itself, but the slow pace made for a frustrating round.

Disappointed in Pro Shop - poor etiquette! While making the turn after 9 holes, Pro Shop attempted to put 2 new golfers in front of us on 10th hole. Extremely poor golf etiquette by management! Everyone knows that is not acceptable when making the turn.

The course was in pretty good shape but like a lot of businesses, they were short staffed. Only two people working inside. The hot dog at the turn was almost cold and no one wanted to help us/sell us a beer after the round, on a Sunday.

When we got there,we were told the back 9 was closed...the greens on the front 9 had been recently aerated and were awful to try and putt on...we drove an hour to get there and were disappointed that we weren't told about the conditions when we booked a week ago...ridiculous...we won't be back

Played the course today, staff is amazing & nice! Played it the first time, very challenging, very fast, greens are green & are fast. which is very nice! Course is in great shape. I wanted to rate this course a 3 considering I was pretty heated where the course allowed a 6 some to play in front of us on the back 9, once we caught up to them on 15 pace of play took a dramatic turn. Who does this? Oh did I forget to say they were 80% children!! One adult and 5 kids where I know the youngest was no older then 5. This time frame is not for teaching and working on kids games. I play early because I want to get home and enjoy my day. Also… also!! I drove from Grove City which is an hour away. I didn’t enjoy this experience what so ever. You have to tighten this stuff up. The guardian kept allowing these kids to hit shot after shot. This might be one of the worst rounds I’ve had this year where the course could care less about course management. Truly a disappointment.

Very lovely course as a 30 plus year golfer who shoots parr for courses . Can't really complain about it except one thing the inconsiderate talking because the holes run too close together there's no separation you're kind of up everybody's backside on every hole that right there is a big no no for me on a course despite it being a beautiful course that absolutely kills it for me I like a wide open course well you're not so close to other players who sometimes people don't have proper etiquette who are playing nearby that's the only fault I can see with this course so I probably won't be returning nice place though just not for me

Course is great but surprised that Friday green fee for seniors was $50. We should have looked at this before making a tee time. We were basically one of 3 foursomes on the course and at $50 on Friday I can assume this was the reason. In the clubhouse, a man at the bar told us that people who normally play on Friday refuse to pay the $50.

The course is being very well maintained this year. This is an enjoyable course to play. It's likely not the most difficult or technical course in the area, but I'm not a professional (or even very good), so those aren't things I look for. Cost is comparable to other courses in the area.

Greens lacked water and were brown, no grass on some greens. One green has cracks from lack of water. Some greens have not been watered for weeks. I would have rather gave it a negative 4 rating.

Reasonable greens fees especially for a weekend rate. The front 9 is in much better shape than the back. The back 9 greens are awful. Scored earth dirt like. Ball will bounce right off. Couple difficult holes, couple open ones. Decent country course. Nice folks.

I really enjoyed playing this course. It's wide open but there's plenty of water to challenge you, to either go for it or sometimes land in the water. The staff in the club house were friendly which made the 19th hole enjoyable!

Woodland used to be a really nice course but I feel like the quality of the course has gone down hill the last 10 or so years. When the course is green, the rough is normally really high... when the area is in a drought (like now) there's a lot of dry areas and the ground is extremely hard and the grass is burnt. I've played other courses since I've been visiting the area and no other golf course is as brown as this one. It's still got some good holes and it has potential but I just don't feel like they take as much care of the course as they could.
