Ok I've been coming here for a few months to give it a try. The front door scanner hardly ever works, they have been "getting it fixed" for a month. The hydro massage always crashes, then when you try to restart the massage, it says "you reached your daily use, try again tomorrow". No one is here to assist you unless it's during business hours, when most people are at work.
So don't get the "premium" package, it's not worth it. If this don't get fixed soon, I'll just cancel my membership and hopefully find a gym that works. Any suggestions?

Their employee failed to cancel my account, we took care of it on the phone, there was obviously a mistake within their company, they failed to make it right. I was told on the phone my account was cancelled, it was not, now I cannot cancel it unless I pay for a month that I will not use. I told them to stop charging my card and they have been trying to charge it day after day even after they sent an email that they will take my card off the books. So they lied and they are trying to steal money from me. Do not go to this gym, they will make cancellation a hassle and will try to steal money from you if they can.

I have to give negative review to the Workout Anytime business not this particular store.
W/A have the worst customer service deceptive policy ever.
They only care about money 💰 every penny counts.
All they can say is it’s on the policy that’s it you’re responsible.
1st time I bought 1 yearly membership plan with one time payment to save some money and support this local business. When my yearly membership plan ended I was overseas and I didn’t renew it right away after couple of months later I came back and was trying renew the membership and they told me that I have to pay some penalty or some extra fee to renew my membership, I wasn’t happy about it but I did pay that extra fee and renew my membership to month to month second time.
Recently my credit card 💳 on file got cancelled and my payment was hold up

I'd give 0 stars if I could. The bathroom has vomit in the sink sometimes. Just sitting there crusted and dry. I went to cancel my membership and they are trying to charge me 85 dollars. I haven't even been here a month. Not doing business ever again with businesses with underhanded deceptive policies. You don't serve the people, you serve your own interests. Looks like a good place to work out. I've been going now for a month. Go there after work and drive around the parking lot and leave. Coupe times, I've touched the doors and looked into Windows. Terrible customer service. I mostly went to this gym to use the tanning bed. The first time I went I was scolded by the owner Dave for not making an appointment online although both beds were open and it was my first time and no one said anything about making an online account. After that I made the appointments online and would be scolded by the personal trainer Nate for coming fifteen minutes early and disturbing his training session that he had never told me he had. So after making appointments with no more issues for about a month, I go in for an appointment that I had scheduled hours before for a 530 appointment and they let two people go in the tanning bed at 5:26 right in front of me and neither one of them had made an appointment. Obviously knowing that I had an appointment that day because it had been on the schedule for many hours. I was called a liar by Nate when he was not even anywhere around when the incident happened. He continued to argue with me that me having to wait for fifteen to twenty minutes was my fault because…get this…I arrived too early… 5:24 was way to early to be there in his opinion. He told me me if I didn’t like it to just leave. He then calls his boss Dave and I could hear everything Dave said and he was so unprofessional it was almost comical. The staff there is so rude and disrespectful to their members. There are so many better gyms out there that actually care about their customers. I canceled my membership then and there and was told I I had to pay for December fees because they needed a 30 day notice to cancel. I mean why would they need a 30 day notice from someone they had told to not come back. I will continue to use this tanning bed until my membership expires and will always have my video camera going at each appointment I make so that I will have proof of the horrible customer service they allow. Dave last words on the call was Oh Well. Unacceptable

A small gym that you can go anytime you need to workout. If you are new to joining a gym, I would suggest this gym. The monthly price is low and worth the price. The restroom has showers, changing room, lockers, toliets, and sinks. There are other services that are provided with a higher membership. Gym is clean and friendly staff. The app is easy to use.

Customer serve are horrible. I called and email them to cancel my membership. They said they will take care of it because there was something wrong with my first and last name from there end. After 2-3 months the collection agency sent me mail that I owe bills to them.

I highly recommend please make sure and take prof of something when you cancel membership. They will keep charging and never sent email, mails or calls to you if you owe money instead they sent yo collection. I have very bad experience with this business.

The owner is entirely rude and condescending. I ended up dealing with some scary health issues that took up a lot of my time and focus. I thought my membership had been cancelled but, according to the gym, they kept it on a “hold.” In order to cancel (and prevent the gym from continuing to charge me) I had to come in to the gym in-person, due to having cash money but not money on my account. I came in no less than 4 times to try and pay the remaining balance but no one was ever in the gym—even during hours that they were supposed to be available.

My boyfriend ended up paying the remaining balance so that it could be canceled online before they could charge me again.

I do NOT recommend this gym.They tell you that you can cancel at any time but then make it difficult to do so. The owner is VERY rude and condescending and—even if you’re going through scary health issues. Any company I have ever worked customer service in would show humanity if someone was going through a challenging time—not this gym. They do not believe in being kind or understanding, regardless of your circumstances.

It costs less than half of the monthly cost for access to the same quality of equipment at a planet fitness and Planet Fitness is at least easier to cancel at any time.

This gym is great! Cleaner than my home, and Im a good housekeeper. Good equipment, never have to wait. The staff are friendly, and Nate the personal trainer, is top notch! I'm a member and live the service and friendliness of the employees. The space is safe and clean. They are always cleaning windows, or the machines and treadmills, and that I can really appreciate. I live very close so I'm glad this place is the way it is. It's always a good time with a really good workout while there. I love working out and LOVE this gym. I highly recommend anyone in the area who wants to get in shape, losing weight or building muscle. This gym has excellent trainers. COME HERE

I switched from PF to here because it was 3 mins from my house. Regret it. While they do have nice equipment there is still not quite an option to do my strength training without getting inventive. What I definitely don’t like is scheduling the tanning which pretty much don’t like because then I’m scheduling “gym time” as well making this an inconvenience to my schedule and unavailable on weekends. To cancel - still have to pay 30 days no matter if you cancel at the end of the month before. Still have access for 30 days but still, pointless especially deciding to go back to PF and pay both gyms just to switch.

Lost my business, wife's, and found out lost someone awhile ago I work with all bc of the same trainer... its unfortunate! It's an okay gym. I went as a guest to check it out. I won't be going back, not because of the gym but because there was a trainer there who was not so nice. While he was chatting up the pretty girls, I overheard him complaining about being reported for doing training on the side. He admitted to doing that but was annoyed someone questioned it. Oh, and if you complain to his manager, I heard that they'll laugh about the email instead of addressing the real concern and correcting the behavior.
Maybe if you need a trainer, you're better off going anywhere else to avoid paying 250/month to be made fun of behind your back. It's not highschool, it's a gym. People have body image issues and no one should be treated in such a way. Grow up or make your side hustle a full time thing so your income reflects the quality of work.

What got my attention was the yearly membership one and done no contract vs others with there monthly payments and the membership charge then the every July extra cleaning charge others would tack on.
Joined in March(?) 2022 never used my membership but once in a while as a way to get away from home. I also don’t really like crowds. But recently I’ve been coming in at 0445/0500 daily and am enjoying that the place is pretty much empty, and clean the place doesn’t smell like other gyms(BO, Arsche etc) and the equipment isn’t sticky. Ladies locker room is also very clean and nothing on the floors to make me wonder what did I just step in( with shoes or not)

I joined Workout Anytime when I moved to Miamisburg in 2019. I have seen this gym develop and grow in clientele impressively since I’ve been a member. I would like to recognize an individual employee who has been the reason for such loyal members including myself. Nate encouraged me to train with him and upon agreeing I quickly learned valuable knowledge about lifting weights effectively, efficiently, and safely. Beyond his great knowledge of exercise fitness, Nate is a person who I can count on to be truthful and direct, which I greatly appreciate when working in the gym. Lifting is an exercise that requires the ability to be efficient. One wrong move can injure or prove the workout to be ineffective. Nate is quick to identify incorrect form and correct me in a way that improves my performance in the gym. He is someone I can count on for good conversation and inclusion when I go to the gym. Nate educates, motivates, and celebrates his clients encouraging them to be the best they can be. I really like this place! Only been coming here for a couple of weeks but it had everything I need. Not as much equipment as my previous gym, but as someone who has done competitive bodybuilding, I can still get a great workout. The equipment is well maintained and clean, everyone wipes things down with disinfectant after using a pie e of equipment, it's never crowded, and the membership rates are very good! It's great to workout in the middle of the night too.

I signed up for a day pass to workout with my sister, who has a membership. The gentleman at the front desk (Dave) was not friendly. He asked how close to the gym I lived. I told him where I lived and he said I need to live within 3 miles for the guest pass. I was really taken aback by this. He was hesitant about letting me in like I was some criminal. I can understand if people are trying to abuse the system, but that shouldn’t be the first and only thing you say to someone. My sister said the monthly payment is cheap and the gym is nice, so I was excited that we could start working out together again. I was planning to get a membership since I work around the corner and could go after work everyday. Not anymore though. He should’ve just asked if I had any plans to join the gym. Very unhappy

I am very pleased with my “workout anytime” gym membership. I have had the membership for 2 years now. It’s very easy to have access to the machines and the gym is kept very clean. The employees are all very personable and will engage in conversation or just let you alone to get your workout done.

The locker room facilities are small but clean and maintained. I really prefer a small place like this over a planet fitness. I know small businesses are struggling right now but I hope Dave can keep it going because it’s a really good fit for someone like me. I just want the convenience of getting 4 or 5 times a week on the machines without having to deal with a crowded place.

Thanks to Workout Anytime and all the small businesses fighting through this time where most people don’t want to work.

I’ve been working out at Workout Anytime since February. Everyone there is so friendly and the place is ALWAYS clean. It was a great place for me to learn how to make progress without feeling intimidated. Once my kids went back to school I considered getting a second membership to a place with a daycare so I could go on the weekends. I didn’t want to leave Workout Anytime, so I just thought I would go somewhere else just a couple days a week.

No.. I visited some other gyms and couldn’t believe the difference in quality. Workout anytime isn’t a huge place. It doesn’t have a ton of bells and whistles, but it’s reasonably priced and the equipment is stellar. I visited fitworks and was really surprised by how outdated all the equipment was. Does it matter if you have dozens of machines, if only half of them are functioning?? Also, I had a hard time locating the cleaning spray there. Other people must’ve had the same problem as I seen NO ONE wiping down equipment. Workout anytime is REALLY, REALLY clean.. not just because of the employees, but also the patrons..

I realized I like Workout Anytime so much that I’ll just do my workouts at home on the weekends. It’s a great place and I’ve made some major progress there. You won’t be sorry if you join!!

Great selection of equipment. My only complaint is they are tight on space and because of that, they don’t have cages for heavy lifting (but they do have the individual machines for everything). Other than that, pretty high quality, plenty of machines for cardio, and pretty much everything you would need for a decent workout. 24/7 as well, and it’s about $40 for the first month with their application fee - after that around $20 a month.

I went in and signed up for a membership they asked me while I was there if i'd like my membership to be billed automatically(they require a card on file) or if I should come in to pay it ( I wouldn't be billed without permission) I said I'd like to come in to pay, they said ok. then when time for renual came I found I had been charged before I even got to the date of renual. AVOID THIS PLACE like the PLAGUE. they will fight you over anything for money because money is all they care about. They will even go to the extreme to go to a debt collector when you try to avoid them for breaking there agreement. Finnally to get membership cancelled you must send a handwritten letter to the owner, that is the only accepted way. making it difficult plus the cost of postage in hopes that noone will do it so they can charge you debt month after month. If anyone reads this and goes there then you have made a huge mistake I rated 1 because -1,000,000 stars isnt an option. I hope they go out of buisness and I hope they get replaced by a real gym that is actually concerned about health and physical condition then wallet size.

I love this hometown small gym. It's never overcrowded and has good options for machines. Staff is friendly as well. It is open 24hrs, which has been super convenient for me.
