Facility doesn’t enforce certain timeframes for open gym, for example I walk in today November 19th and pickle ball had the whole gym space when it was on the schedule to be cleaned up and over at 2 and then open gym starts. Not to mention if these were kids playing basketball or even a young adult like myself they would be giving us 10 min and 5 min warnings to clean up and leave immediately which isn’t fair because the pickleball players get no warnings like this to clean up and get out immediately the adverse discrimination towards the younger generation and using the open gym is terrible. Things like this mess everyone’s schedule up for instance today I have class at 3:30 and I figured I could play basketball for 45min to a hour and head to class, now I drove all the way here to see this… unacceptable because I make the drive to do what’s on the schedule for the day and it doesn’t work out because the front desk and employees don’t care. Unacceptable.

Great staff, the gym is pretty good. My kids have taken both swim classes and Karate classes; they always love it. The Senseis, and the swim instructor’s are very good with the kids.

DO NOT PUT YOUR KIDS IN SPORTS HERE!! Was not satisfied with how last year ran but I gave them a pass it seemed like they were trying to put kids health into consideration because Aug last year was very hot. But starting late cause the kids to be playing during the snow or freezing temperatures. They added a game for the week following the “close” of the season. They have no regard for parents schedules. Season should be starting Saturday sept 5th. It’s been postponed to sept 13th. But some teams will have games Saturday the 5th. I have 2 kids and have no schedule for either kids team. How am I supposed to schedule life if they can’t get me a schedule and not make last minute changes?!? If the refs are as bad this year as last it’s going down. U4 games should last 30 mins max. One of our daughters last over an hour because the ref couldn’t keep track of time! Hire people who know how to use a stopwatch or tell time. I left the sports director a voicemail and I’ve still not gotten a call back.
They do not prioritize timeliness. Practice schedules went out the week before they started. It’s no surprise the teams barely have 9 players each. Parents don’t want the bullcrap.

Overall, it's about what you would expect out of a YMCA. They have a solid gym and pool. The equipment is fairly updated. Lots of classes and activities for children too.

I love the aerobics classes in the heated therapy pool. The instructors, Debbie, Susie, and Lindy are great. The lifeguards, Renee, Jenny, and Mary Beth also do an excellent job. There is also a feeling of welcome when you come in and I would like to thank Annie and June for that.
I go to the Y a few days a week and it has made a difference in my health and well-being.

YMCA receptionist, two ladies, older, one had red hair. I'm not from the area and not familiar with any of the buildings. I needed assistance and asked for help and she talked to me as though I was dumb , I was kind and polite, just trying to find my way around and she was not nice to me. I'm actually glad I'm not from here. Do better.

Worst YMCA in the area. Tried to play basketball with the kids and was told this isn't the time for you to bring your kids here. I thought it was open for everyone to enjoy the gym but the staff member basically told us to leave the gym. Worst one around will definitely not be back to this location

Decent gym , very clean with lots of equipment. It's open 24 hours all days but Saturday and Sunday. The night staff are very nice . I'm bummed that I can't use my ymca pass at the Greenville location . They have restrictions.

I was here and the staff is incredibly rude to kids. They have no place for kids older than 10 to play. They also have kids who they don’t see following other kids. The kick kids out very easily with no hesitation. A kid under 10 has broke her arm in the play area but I feel as if another kid older they wouldn’t have. They also lied about 24 hour. I asked the front desk and they didn’t say anything about 24 hours. When they have sports I requested to be on a specific team with better players. I ended up being on with some people that had no experience.

Very poor service, ymca bills me the first of the month for the current months use, went in to cancel the 28th so I would not be billed for October- they’re billing me because it’s how they “do it” very poor. Fraud.

This facility is very disappointing. I use my membership here as a way for my kids to have a fun activity, a reward for good behavior.
I am a single mom going to nursing school and working in the hospital.
The lifeguards in the pool area are very rude and overweight. I’m not confident the staff could save my life or my child’s life if we were drowning.
I check hours for the pool before even promising a trip to the pool. The last three times I have went the lifeguards try to tell me that there is a private swim lesson and we must get out of the pool. The first two times I did leave and followed up with a conversation with Josh. The 3rd time, yesterday, I refused to get out. Nothing is being done about their disorganization and Josh clearly isn’t handling the situation.
I would cancel this membership if my kids didn’t love the reward of swimming so much.
It makes for a very stressful trip.
Their sports are just as unorganized. My son participated in baseball and they did not receive uniforms until the start of their 2nd game. There was a mix-up with one of the games where they sent out a message to everyone saying it was cancelled and then followed up with it actually not being cancelled 15 min after that email. We had 2 players that day.
This organization is not designed to make anything easier on families. I would argue that the YMCA adds more stress. If you can go without a membership here, please do.
The only reason I give any stars is the because of the elderly people that smile at you when you walk in. They are the only ones making a difference in the lives of people who attend this YMCA. They are the front of the company and the most genuine, kind and caring individuals.

staff are horrible here. They had a problems with payment for only 2 months and even though I came in almost everyday and signed in no one said a word, no phones calls messages. just sent and email even though i gets hundreds of spam email and never check anymore.so they send it to collections instead of just talking to me when i got there. choose another place to go.

My family really enjoys this Ymca better than any of the other Ymca's. Our children play soccer, swim, and most of all love the play area jungle gym! Their employees are very caring and patient, and they handle any issues that arise. This ymca cares about their members for sure!

It seems like every time I come in here the basketball gym is always closed. They never update the schedule on the app so I drive over here and they always have it closed. Why have a basketball gym if its never opened for basketball? But besides that, all the other facilities are very nice and well kept and the staff is very friendly?

I was a guest from a suburban Philadelphia Y. I arrived about 50 minutes before closing on a Sunday afternoon. The desk attendant greeted me cheerfully, swiped my card, found me in the computer, and was kind enough to suggest a couple of public parks where I might continue my cardio workout after the Y closed and I might find some shade from the hot early-August sun. The cardio room is spacious, well ventilated, and the A/C is set to an ideal temperature for workouts. There are lots of ellipticals and treadmills as well as other equipment, and they appear on first impression to be relatively new and in good repair. Seems like a really nice facility! (I have used my sister Ys for years while traveling, and I have experienced everything from Taj Mahals to very old downtown city Ys, a couple of which still had rooms for rent. One actually had a barbershop with a barber on duty in the men’s locker room!). This Y is one of the really nice ones!

They've raised the price to join, and classes get full 30 minutes early. Gym equipment stays broken for months before it's fixed.
Edit: my price was raised because of my age, one of the expresso bikes had a purple line through the monitor for months, several of the bikes has broken foot straps for months. The monitor wasn't fixed until a few weeks ago. I was able to take the spin class this week, which did fill up and people also left early.

There is some activity for everyone to enjoy at the YMCA. I find myself there 2-3 times a day because I prefer the scheduled classes and activities. Every piece of exercise equipment in available for independent activity. I have been active at this Y for over 10 years. Come. Join. Healthy. Happy.

I joined to get in shape, but I work a lot. I like to swim because it's easier on my knees. So, pretty much pay to use the pool. It seems like every time I go there, it's some reason I can't use the pool. I went there during the limited hours it's available on my day off and the pool was closed. Who closes a pool in August? Really? I was upset with this and the lady at the front desk was rude! Ended up driving all the way to Huber Heights to swim. Not pleased!

My experience at the Y was good. The small pool is great for my chronic pain and good exercise for my weak legs. My only complaint is that the kids should be in the bigger pool away from us older people.

I like it. Nice place and people. Lots to do. Just over crowed weight area, weight equipment too close to eachother and too many people for such a small weight room. But I like it just can't get much of my work out done in a timely manner without substituting other work outs.

I like working out at this YMCA, but can be crowded at times. Would like to do some wieght lifting but that section is always full of men and it can be intimidating at times. I wish they have a women alone section for wieght lifting. Either than that I like this gym.
