Signed my son up for Rookie sports and the coach was only there one practice and the rest of the time it was fill in. We only got good practices when Coach T was there. If Coach T was the coach for the whole 6 weeks the experience would have been better. Not worth 75 dollars to get 2-3 practices. I will drive out of town before signing up for another sport at the YMCA in Chillicothe.

There was human fecal matter in the men’s showers when I went to swim. I’m not making this up. (:

YMCA better change with the times. There is relatively nothing at the Y for an active senior who still works full time days. No swimming after work, no exercise classes, nothing. I work 730-4. There is nothing available for me and lots and lots of working seniors like me.
According to September 2020 AARP PUBLIC POLICY INSTITUTE article, "The US Essential Workforce Ages 50
and Older, " an astounding 37.3% of the workforce is over 50. 14.7% are 60+.
Wake up America. Retirement while you can still work is a thing of the past. Just like the one income family. Moms and dads have to work to keep their heads above water, and so do the elderly.
With nothing offered for seniors in the evenings, and the pool monopolized by children, are you really being fair to the community as a whole? Seems more like you're catering to families because they pay more for a membership. Money is everything.

This place is a joke, you pay money (more than most gym memberships) to be kicked out of the gym for little league basketball. They take up the gym multiple times a week for about 3 hours of the day. For the people that only go there to play basketball, it’s robbery. Taking money and giving nothing to show for it. Do not recommend this place

We love the YMCA, and we get so much out of our family membership! We've attended for group fitness classes, exercising, child watch (while we exercise), preschool/summer camp/day care, swimming lessons, athletics, and so much more. The YMCA of Ross County is more than a gym - it is an all-in-one, family-friendly go-to for us and others in our community!

I love the Y. It’s got a pretty cool steam room and a great pool. I’ve spent countless hours in that pool and I’d be sad if the Y went bye

The Chillicothe YMCA is a great place for physical activity, weather it’s swimming, lifting weights, or running, the YMCA is at the top of the list. The YMCA is well organized with a nice staff and top of the line equipment. I recommend you go to the YMCA in Chillicothe, Ohio today!

I’ve been going to the Ross County Y for as long as I can remember! It’s almost a second home to me. The members of the staff are always friendly and helpful. The swim team gave me some of my best relationships and memories from my childhood.

Decent staff, decent facilities. Could definitely use an upgraded pool/ better aquatic facilities, but local swim teams produce high caliber swimmers regardless. Great coaching, and great team atmosphere

From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a warm welcome. Once you start coming, they all make a point to know you and call you by name. The staff is always so helpful with any need or questions you have. The YMCA has replaced the old workout machines and purchased the latest equipment all in the last year. The staff offers so many different classes at times that fit my schedule. The fitness trainers and their staff are great in helping you on new machines, designing a workout based on your level of exercise and helping you reach your fitness goals. There may be larger and glitzier facilities, but nothing tops the way the YMCA treats me like family every time I am there.

Thankful for this gem in our community. Many memories of Zumba classes and friendships. The past four years though I’ve watched my two children learn and grow from enriching child care environment.

Our kids absolutely love going here. From the staff to the facilities there are a number of things that you can do to keep you busy. The fitness room has been updated and if you can be at one of the open swims that are available, you can enjoy the nice pool they have. All of the staff are friendly and can answer any questions that you may have. I highly recommend this place.

Very very family friendly place and fantastic staff! I’ve never walked into the Ross County YMCA and never been greeted and smiled at. They always smile and treat their visitors like family. The lifeguards are amazing and are very encouraging and welcoming. Overall, the Ross County Y is like my second home!

The Ross Co. YMCA team, led by C.E.O. Steve Clever, change lives every day. This building offers a home for at risk youth, family childcare, after school mentoring, school aged athletics, adult fitness classes and senior wellness programs. The Ross YMCA is the most all-inclusive organization in Ross County and I'm a proud member. The YMCA works every day to ensure that all residents of Ross Co. have an equal opportunity to learn and grow.

Always accommodating. Superior staff. Knowledgeable kinesiologists. Loyal leadership. Yearlong youthfulness. Dedicated disciples.
Intermediate intramurals. Astounding amenities. For everything this place offers, it is a pillar of the community for all ages. The 5 stars are earned through the hard working staff and maintained by all of what the business and building offers along with the surrounding community integration.

The YMCA has been an incredible start in my health journey. Lydia is wonderful she has taught me there is always a place to start and if you mess up just start again. I plan on returning as soon as I can. I had a knee replacement 3 weeks ago and when I'm done with therapy I'll be returning to the Y.

I LOVE my Y! I joined the Y when I first moved to town. It provided a great place to meet people and get my children involved. I’ve been a member for 6 years now, and my Y family is an integral part of my life. The adult classes are great, the facility is clean and well-maintained and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Ross County is blessed to have this amazing facility.

I love the ymca its a great place! I just hate the child watch for people who work through the week and they only do it until 730, Me getting off at 630 and heading straight there with my family, My huband and I only get a 30 minute workout at best, I didnt know they would close eairler going into the Spring/Summer months, I thought maybe with it being brighter outside longer the hours would change for the better. I may have to cancel my membership and find another place to workout ;(
