Deeply enjoyed my first class at YWB with Sipra! The class was well-paced, thoughtful, and personal. I’m a newcomer to the Columbus area, and am looking for a place to practice yoga regularly in an authentic way, free of distractions — and I think I’ve found it! Looking forward to attending more classes soon.

Yoga Well-being is a fantastic studio. Sipra is a great instructor who is very knowledgeable and focuses on the overall impact of yoga on mind and body. She customizes each class for what the students need for that day. The venue is also very nice and open. Classes are offered in person and virtually. Would highly recommend this studio for those interested in practicing yoga in a mindful way

Yoga-Well-Being is an incredibly special place.
You will not just do yoga, pack up your bags, and leave. Class with Sipra starts with getting to know your mat neighbors and letting her know what you'd like to work on. Injuries? No problem. Want to use a cool prop? Get it, Sipra will make it happen in her yoga community.
Speaking of, Sipra is a gift to this world. No class of hers will be the same. She infuses mindfulness, strength, song, and even the occasional conversation into class. She is, hands down, the most experienced and skilled instructor in Central Ohio. Going to her studio is a treat I hope everyone can experience.

I’ve been coming to Sipra’s classes here for a few months now and I love it! Each class is different and she caters each one to your needs. She makes the classes feel intimate and intentional so you get the most out of each session. Everyone is incredibly accepting so I’d recommend it for any level.

Classes consistently demonstrate the mind/body/spirit integration with the movement of yoga. Appreciate how instructors make yoga accessible to all with modifications both in person and zoom classes. Looking forward to the Yoga Nidra event on April 27 with Veda---have attended in the past and it is a wonderful relaxation experience.

I really enjoyed my Yoga experience with Sipra. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect... I was very nervous and self-conscious but I'm glad I took my sister's advice and attended. Sipra is kind, compassionate, caring, and deeply experienced. It's obvious this is a lifestyle she not only teaches but lives and loves. I plan on continuing my journey with Sipra and the Yoga-Well-Being team.

Have you ever felt the pain from grief?
Grief and sadness, an energetic stuckness, from an unhealthy relationship or event?
A need to remove the poisonous energy from your body, your mind, your orbit.
A call for help to process what is needed faster and to find some relief in the 3D from the 5D and beyond.
I found myself in this situation.
It is a choice to turn towards confidence.
Self care and encouragement.
Not like any other Reiki session I've experienced before.
This session coupled with hatha yoga is magic.
In only three days over a new moon my body is feeling energetically lighter
And the thoughts and nightmares have dissipated.
My back aches less and other areas in my body are sore as they are healing from holding onto the trauma endured.
Sipra helped me with a letting go process.
Calling on ancestors and lineages.
Sipra has an intuition that is a gift.
Sipra accesses a healing energy with her unique ability to offer insights that are catered to you on your journey.
This is a specialty that's been honed by Sipra over the years that I have not encountered before in other Reiki sessions elsewhere.
Tremendous care is offered.
Much gratitude, along the way,
Namaste

Sipra's yoga space is a haven of warmth and challenge and I'm so grateful to have this offering in our community. The abundantly personal approach is supportive of individual needs, creating a sweet path of grounding and growth. Whether in-studio or virtually, I feel a sense of belonging and leave each class feeling open, present, and loved. Highly recommend this inviting and transformative space.

I have been doing yoga at Yoga-Well-Being for 15 years and it has made a huge difference in my life. They even have hybrid classes where you can do virtual streaming at home along with the others in class. Sipra and the other instructors teach you the different poses and how to modify for your body. Sipra focuses the class on what each individual needs. Mindfulness is definitely part of the practice and it has helped me with dealing with difficult situations in my life. I go 3 or more times a week! Come join us it will make your life richer.

I joined Sipra's class at Yoga-Well-Being for the first time this morning and I think have found a yoga home. I have tried different teachers and studios for years, knowing that regular practice would improve my health and well-being. Sipra clearly teaches what she lives, a combination of meditation and yoga that provides calm for both mind and body. Her approach is caring and she she was supportive of each member of the class which included younger and more senior students.
The space--the renovated 3rd floor of a beautiful old church in Victorian Village--adds to the serenity.
Check out YWB's website where Sipra shares her culture, personal history, and philosophy. There are also photos of the space and some of the classes.

Although I was only able to attend classes at Yoga-Well-Being for a few weeks, I found my time there to be transformative and healing. Sipra’s holistic approach to yoga really resonated with me and I always felt comfortable and accepted by both the instructors and other participants. I was able to find relief from my anxiety during a period of stressful life transitions. YWB also offers virtual classes which I appreciate, because I can keep participating from abroad :)

I have been regularly attending a Thursday evening class at Yoga well being with Sipra. This has become a space and time in my week that I look forward to very much. It is a home for my mind to center, and place for my body to stretch and grow in flexibility and strength. It is also a place to share understanding, joy and compassion with myself and with others who have now become friends, and I have observed my own and focus and reflection improve over the time since I have started attending. This is a place I go to quiet my mind and get a full body stretch, and it it truly a time I treasure for learning and growing in mind and body.

My expectations for the well being class was to calm the body and mind- I leave feeling so relaxed, cleansed, and calm.
Our theme this week was to add to a mantra for a speech to be given at a funeral- we all arrived to similar ideas: May you find hope, love, and comfort from those surrounding you and find your strength within yourself to go on, achieving inner calm.

Are you looking for a more authentic yoga practice that truly connects you to your breath, your body, your awareness and your pure-being within yourself? Then you need to come here. I have practiced yoga in many spaces in Columbus, and while I have found peaceful and body-strengthening experiences in those spaces, this studio is unlike any other in the entire city.
This is more than exercise - it is holistic and intentional practice to connect you to your best self, to a version of you you are capable of reaching. Sipra, the instructor and I believe an owner, reminds me of an auntie gently and firmly pushing you towards success.
Whether you are looking for more exercise-focused yoga (they have Power Yoga), or more traditional asanas, breathwork and meditation, you will not regret giving this studio a try. They are very reasonably priced, they have great membership pricing and new student pricing.
I am excited to expand my practice here, I hope to see you there.

I had no experience with Reiki sessions prior to my first session with Sipra. She made me feel so welcome and comfortable and it ended up being an incredible experience. Over 90 minutes, Sipra was able to connect with my energy fields and see visuals and colors related to my past, present, and future. I felt exhausted afterwards, but could feel a positive change in myself and my energy just a few days later. I felt more balanced and more focused. I have since been back several times when I've felt out of balance and will continue to return!

I've been on the hunt for Kundalini yoga in Columbus. This class exceeded my expectations. Everything from the kind, welcoming vibes from the instructor to the energy from the community that made up this class, was a fresh breath of air compared to the more corporate-like gym feeling you generally get from studios in this city.

Hello! My name is Raffaella, I am from Brazil and I have attended Sipra Classes during my husband's MBA program at OSU (2018/2019).
I want to thank Sipra to let me know yoga in its most special and traditional way. I remember we had a chant in the begging of the class, and it was so relaxing and healing! Loved the tea after class, too!! Amazing experience! I wish we had such class here in Brazil, too.
Thank you and hope you are good and safe!
Best regards,

Trying to put into words what yoga well being means to me isn’t an easy task. I have been attending classes for a little over a year and a half now. Yoga Well Being is definitely a studio that is dedicated to your whole well being. I couldn’t be more pleased with the growth I’ve had physically, emotionally and spiritually. Sipra is a beautiful soul full of light, love and knowledge. All the instructors are carefully selected to ensure the true knowledge and respect of yoga is taught to students. Please do yourself a favor and come. Start with one class a week and stick with it. You won’t regret it.

This studio is wonderful! I was looking for traditional yoga instruction that was not so athletic, but more of a true spiritual/physical balance, and I found that here. The instruction supports the UNION of body, mind, and spirit. I have taken classes from Tatiana, Troy, and Sipra, and am currently doing Sadhana with Sipra. Every instructor is kind and compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable in their practice. They have all helped and shown me how to make modifications while still challenging myself safely. I have learned so much in such a short time! I am learning how to be healthier and heal my body through nutrition, meditation, and yoga practice. Sipra is one of the wisest and most generous human beings-her wisdom in health, nutrition, diet, yoga, and life in general has me feeling better than I have in years!

I was nervous and intimidated about trying yoga for the first time, but Sipra creates a welcoming, family atmosphere and tailors each class to the developmental needs of each participant in the class. I’ve gone 8 times now and love it. Even more importantly, Sipra took the time to learn about my lower back injury and she gives me personalized guidance in each class. My back feels better after yoga with Sipra than after any other exercise. Sipra teaches in such a way that she meets the needs of every person in class, whether a newbie like me or an advanced yogi, these classes are accessible to all.

This is what yoga feels like at its best - wisdom, release, and effort. Practicing for over 5 years has led me all around Columbus searching for a studio with warm (but tough!) teachers, a variety of classes, and a curriculum that challenges not only my body but my mind. I know myself and my body, and I know the way to step up my practice now is to have teachers that both challenge me and who help empower me to respect my own self-wisdom. Yoga Well Being actually has that - it's a diamond in the rough. The classes are energizing, deeply relaxing, and always welcoming. I'm so happy to have found this place!

The short and sweet: Yoga Well-Being’s yoga classes have reduced my pain, migraines and I have healed or greatly increased function rom many injuries from a car accident (including brain injuries).
More deailed: One of the best examples I can give for a review of Sipra’s Yoga class is the very first time I was scheduled to attend, my back was out. I couldn’t sleep because of the pain, I couldn’t do laundry, I couldn’t even bend over far enough to put a dish in the dishwasher. I texted my friend, attempting to cancel thinking there was no way I could possibly do a yoga class when I could barely move, Her response? “Come. This will help.” I am so glad that I trusted her enough to go. I returned home after the class and my husband was amazed at my ability to move, how much one class was able to decrease my pain, and both of us were eternally grateful because this was just 2 days before school started for the new year and my to-do list was miles long. I have a been a Sipra fan ever since.
I call Sipra my Vicodin in a bottle. I was in a car accident in which I sustained physical injuries and brain injuries. Sipra’s yoga classes have done for me and yielded more long term benefits than all of my therapies put together. She has been more invested in me and my long term healing (vs treating the symptom) than any of the dozens of doctors and therapists I have been to over the course of several years. When I get inconsistent with my practice, my migraines start up and pain from my injuries starts to dictate my activity level. Sipra’s classes give me back days of my life that I would otherwise loose to being incapacitated with migraines, and more importantly, back to my family.
I have had some exceptional yoga teachers through the years as well as practiced with teachers who can teach a yoga class, but it is just exercise. I walk out of those other (exercise yoga) classes feeling good for working out, but am left without that zen I get from Sipra’s class. I love that I can walk into Sipria’s class, tell her what is going on with me, spiritually and physically and that she custom designs a class to me my specific needs (and of all those attending).

I joined YWB to introduce myself to yoga and help alleviate back and shoulder pain before starting the Appalachian Trail this spring. The classes not only helped get rid of my pain, but also taught me how to relax and pay attention to my body. Sipra is an absolutely wonderful teacher and brings so much positivity and happiness to her classes. She worked with my back injury and introduced many ways to relax and strengthen my muscles. I will miss going to YWB while I'm away but I will be practicing yoga and meditation on the trail thanks to this studio. When I was living in Columbus, I attended classes at Yoga-Well-Being as many as 6 times per week. I couldn't get enough! The classes are wonderful and, as another reviewer mentioned, we worked muscles that I didn't even know existed. At the beginning of each class, Sipra asks what everyone would like to work on that day (physically or emotionally) and then, on the spot, creates a practice that is perfectly tailored to the needs of the group. In addition to making me feel great physically, Sipra's classes were also crucial to my emotional well-being. I was a new teacher in an extremely challenging environment and taking classes at Yoga-Well-Being helped me wind down after a long day, transition from workweek to weekend, or even start my day on the right foot with a 6am yoga class!
Now, I am living in New York and I miss Yoga-Well-Being terribly! I joined a wonderful studio here, but it's just not the same. While the classes at my new studio are fantastic, the sense of community that everyone feels at Yoga-Well-Being simply cannot be replaced. Luckily, Sipra offers online streaming of her classes and workshops. I can set up my mat in my living room hundreds of miles away and still feel like I'm "home" at Yoga-Well-Being.

This is so much more than your average yoga studio. We get to muscles I've never stretched before! These instructors (especially Sipra) know the human body, how it moves, and address specifically what the folks in the room want to address - it might be physical, emotional, whatever. This place is a treasure - Bikrham meets enlightened physical therapy. I feel better all day on the days I do yoga here. Highly recommend

There are not enough good things that I can say about YWB. This is my second home. All of the instructors at YWB genuinely care for their students and their overall wellbeing inside and outside of the studio and the students care for one another as well. I feel like the instructors and the studio members are a part of my extended family. While the yoga practice has done so much for my quality of life, the welcoming and caring environment at YWB is the icing on the cake! Because of YWB I feel better, I sleep better and I am more mentally balanced and able to handle the stresses of every day life with a clear head. Because of YWB I am a much better person than I was before I entered their studio doors 3 years ago!

I joined Yoga Well Being about two years ago, have become a regular member, and have had nothing but great experiences! As a distance runner, I sought out a yoga for the many flexibility and strength benefits. Yoga has become a regular practice for me since, and not only have I avoided many of the nagging injuries runners suffer while drastically improving my form and speed, but I have found a new source of calm and balance in my life. Of particular note are Sipra's classes. She takes the time at the beginning of every class to check in with you physical and mental well-being and proceeds to tailor the poses and flow of the class to everyone's specific issues for the day. Each class is unique and often challenges your practice, allowing for much growth if you stick with it. Highly recommended.
