I have been taking weekly private yoga instruction with Shilpa at Yogah With Mysore for about six weeks.

Shilpa is passionate and knowledgable about yoga practice, including mind, body and breath, and she shares just the right amount of knowledge each visit, as to not be overwhelming.

Shilpa is also dedicated to my personal yoga experience and goals to improve my pain and mobility. She communicates clearly and thoughtfully, planning out yoga sessions specific to my needs. Shilpa provides practice for me to implement at home. And asks for questions and feedback.

I look forward to my sessions with Shilpa and her warm, comfortable presence, in the cozy second floor studio with natural light from the windows.

I highly recommend Shilpa for yoga instruction. I have been practicing yoga off and on for a number of years at different studios and with different teachers. Shilpa is one of the most attentive, intentional and encouraging teacher I have worked with. Her classes are challenging yet I always feel supported coming to my mat as I am. She doesn't just lead the class but is very aware of how the students are doing; checking in with encouragement, modifications, and the all important reminder to keep breathing. Practicing with her brings benefits on multiple levels.

I have been learning yoga from Shilpa for a year or so. She is a very patient teacher, always with a smile and flexes well depending on the ability of her students. She gives very good instructions specially on the right form and eye gaze, which are essential in yoga but often get missed out!
