4 year old in dance. Had an excellent teacher. However, poor management of the business overshadowed the positive experience with the teacher.
The a Academy attempted to charge $40 for costume rental
Until we questioned the purchase price of $20.
Were then still only able to rent for $20.
Advised that we needed and purchased additional $30 nude leotard that wasn’t needed or used during recital.
Photographer that was associated with academy was hostile and aggressive during rehearsal & pics which were all crammed into recital day for these toddlers.
Owner only excused the behavior stating that photographer was stressed by being the only parent supervising her 5 year old while working and expressing her dissatisfaction with the state of the venue they chose to use.
All completely unacceptable. Not sure these folks should be working with children at all.

My daughter loves dancing here! They offer such a huge range of classes that aren't offered anywhere else in town, including Irish dance, musical theater, and even fencing! The teachers are dedicated to what they do and to the kids they teach. Their passion is obvious and infectious!

APA was instrumental in helping my daughter follow her dreams of dancing past high school. She was accepted to several universities, but chose University of Arkansas Little Rock to study as a Dance Performance Major. She would not have had the opportunity had it not been for APA. Dreams can and do become reality here. Highly Recommend 10 Stars.

My daughter has been dancing here for the past 8 years. She has learned so much. They off all different kinds of dance you can take what interest you most. They also participate in the Nutcracker and other productions throughout the year.

APA is more than just your run of the mill dance studio. They offer a variety of class's including classical ballet, pointe, jazz, Musical Theater, Irish, contemporary, hip hop, clog, adult ballroom and fencing.
I have been so impressed with the progress my daughter has made. I highly recommend APA if you're child is looking to grow and excel at dance!

My daughter has been dancing here since it opened. The teachers are amazing! They offer Irish dance through McCafferty Academy of Dance. Their ballet program is excellent as well!
