Small and often crowded. Some of the patrons are loud in a disruptive manner. During summer people bring their children. The fans are very dusty and the wipes don’t get restocked enough.

It doesn’t cost very much and can be decent if you’re able to go during the slow periods.

Don't do business here. I submitted my 30 day notice & they kept billing me for 2 more months. After I revoked payment they sent me to collections. Just started here and I'm really liking it. I've never woken up before the sun rises to go to a gym before, gotta say the experience is super relaxing. Really quiet facility, clean equipment, and thus far everyone keeps to themselves. Can almost feel like you're alone at times which is great if you're constantly feeling overwhelmed throughout your day. The staff here is awesome too very nice and helpful!

I've gone here on and off for a very long time and I have to say while it hasn't changed physically much the staff has and for the better. While there are a few hiccups here and there, the gym itself is clean, has wipes on demand and is generally pretty quiet. Which is nice when you just want to have a day at the gym without much chaos and having machines and weights free. As for the staff, having Allyson as a personal trainer is probably the main reason I'm going more often to the gym. It's kind of crazy that I'm getting much healthier and generally starting feel better. She continues to have my back after 8 months and even though we hit a wall with me getting covid, Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up, she still has a very positive attitude towards my goals. I can't recommend this gym enough.

TLDR: Quiet gym, has the essentials, great staff, perfect trainer and its clean.

I would give zero stars. I moved out of the area and even had to stop going here when I was local as I am legally blind and stopped having transportation. I called months before my 2 year contract ended. I had zero issue paying out my contract but this location continued to deduct funds for 5 months after and refused to close my account. Only after my boyfriend called and the manager got loud with him and a call to corporate did they close my account. I also asked for a copy of my signed original contract and was told they did not have it. Phone calls and emails were met with unprofessionalism and a lack of empathy. The manager, Teegus, does not respond to emails or calls with tact, timeliness, or professionalism. It was ridiculous that he would raise his voice at a veteran when my boyfriend called after I received no resolution. I would not recommend to anyone. Additionally, they are over priced for what they provide. I generally do not post reviews, but after this struggle and time spent to just get an account closed, I feel the general public should be warned of this location.

This review was from a couple of years ago during my tenure at Anytime Fitness—the date was updated when I modified it.

I'm no longer a member, but I stand by my review from my experience. Dealing with Anytime Fitness has been a journey filled with regret and frustration, which I feel is essential to share. Before departing for an overseas assignment, I took the appropriate steps to terminate my commitment, submitting the required documents. However, contrary to what I had expected, the company continued to bill me throughout my assignment.

To rectify this unpleasant situation, I sent them numerous emails while abroad. However, my efforts hit a brick wall; all my communication attempts remained unanswered. This lack of responsiveness was disappointing and indicated a severe deficiency in their customer service.

Upon returning stateside, I decided to directly confront the issue by visiting their premises. My efforts bore no fruit as they claimed their inability to refund me, directing me instead to their parent company. A path which, unfortunately, led me to a dead-end as I was never reimbursed.

In summary, my experience with Anytime Fitness was a negative one. I strongly discourage fellow military personnel from entering into a commitment with them. The ordeal I went through, characterized by disappointment and loss of hard-earned money, is worth avoiding.

Actually this gym rates 6 stars! I’ve been lifting for 37 years, for me it’s a way of life. I must speak my truth, in the 37 years I’ve been lifting my trainers have come & gone. However in my experience over the years, the ONE trainer who has I’ve achieved the best results from is Allyson. And Tyler has been there for me in a training capacity as well as any glitches that can occur from time to time. That said, this gym is my HAPPY PLACE!

Okay, today (12/12/22) I signed up for a membership, at Anytime fitness on East Gore in Lawton. Tyler did a great job. I have my free consultation visit tomorrow. We'll see how it goes. Parking is definitely is an issue. We used the last parking spot.

Signed up for a year on a 6wek challenge, offered @6am 3 days a week, with a coach. Coach missed several classes, he has a young family . After the 6weeks were over I was to have 3days a week of personal coaching, same coach, and he again is not always there@ 6am.
When asked if I could get a reduction on my fees or an extension I was flat out told no. That I was paying what everyone else pays for just a regular membership.
I added up they were collecting monthly $227.20 from me, and the experience has been not up to their stated standards.
I have canceled my membership, however they are still planning to deduct my fees, and my bank and credit card has been notified, the payment system they use will do nothing to stop payment
I am so disappointed in this experience, they take out two different payments from my bank, and I'm not sure but I feel I am getting screwed. When my contract ends I will not renew. It is to bad that the gym Is nice, the procedure is not .

I canceled my contract, according to their stipulations. And they owed me personal training time which I did not use but paid for! And now today I get a phone call from a collection agency they are saying I still owe them over 400 dollars. .

I would highly recommend Anytime Fitness on East Gore. The facility is clean, the equipment is in good service. The gym is typically not super busy where you can't enjoy working out nor do you have to wait for machines very long. The trainer, Jason, is awesome. He has tools and the knowledge to help you reach your fitness goal. He is very knowledgeable and has helped me progress towards my goals in light of previous old and new injuries without causing further injury. He will modify or abandon certain exercises to avoid injury. He has also been able to help my athletic children and their friends improve their conditioning. I have met the other trainer, Abby. She has been helpful to answer questions if needed on my non-training days. Jason, Abby, and Kency are friendly and very helpful. I live on the west side of town and it is worth the drive to the East side of town!

It was always clean and plenty of equipment for use. There us a separate studio room with a screen that comes down to do different yoga/pilates/HIIT classes in and it is very convenient. This has been an amazing gym experience for the month I have been there. It may be small but I can promise you that there is enough there to get a good workout in. You don’t have to wait long for any machines and if anything you can ask to work in with someone who is working on that equipment. The vibe is great as well! I mainly go after 7 PM and I have experienced no problems!

This facility is under GREAT ownership. I am a Retired Army Captain who recently had an issue with an employee, but as soon as the owner caught wind of the situation he addressed it IMMEDIATELY. He was extremely understanding and exemplified the type of personality and customer service that will keep any member coming back! I really appreciate him for taking the time out of his busy schedule to personally address my concern and furthermore, give me the feedback I needed to understand all of the conditions of the my contract in regards to the military clause. He is definitely supportive of the troops and is willing to go above and beyond for ALL of his member. I went to this gym for approximately 2 years and I truly enjoyed the culture, staff, and members of this gym! I'm very grateful that I didn't allow one bad apple to fog my judgement of the facility as a whole and I want to thank you again for time!

Well, the name “anytime” is absolutely poor advertisement because it is not anytime. Changed owner ship while we were still under contract and found out the original lady we signed up with scammed us out of $175 for key fob deposit that isn't even a thing. When we signed up she said we could cancel with military orders if we had to move. While we tried to and the new owner refuses to cancel unless we pay out our contract and won't pay us back for the key fob deposit because thats not a thing apparently. Now we have gone into the location by our new house and they offered to cancel it for us but this Lawton location won't respond to them to transfer home gym to where we moved to. Horrible customer service and I would never ever recommend this anytime fitness location to anyone.
UPDATE: finally was able to cancel with the temple gym after having to drive and scan every night. But they only transferred my membership and not my husbands and we are still getting charged for his even though we signed one contract. This Lawton gym is still refusing to cancel his unless we pay over $300 to them to cancel. Worst gym I have ever signed up for, never work with this Lawton anytime fitness!
