Went during a visit and I wish I could have taken this studio home with me! I usually shy away from 60 minute classes, thinking I’ll lose interest or focus but Sara guided us through and interesting, comprehensive, engaging workout.
The studio has a beautiful feel to it and is adjacent to a cute coffee shop and boutique that are also worth visits.

Didn’t have any expectations or experience with yoga but decided to try a class with my fiancé. Now, 8 months later, I’m a 7 days a week yogi, barre and core guy. Shane is the perfect mix of practicing your yoga skillset and also has the personality to make it fun & hip. Kelly is a Beast in barre & core and Michael stretches your perception of your own fitness goals & limitations. BYB is a must try!

Balance. Yoga. Barre. Is simply and effective! They offer classes all the above and more. I truly love that they offer classes in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Especially love their weekend selection as I often am unable to make midday workouts.
They provide mats, balance balls, weights, bands, and really anything you need to enjoy the class.
I attend the 8th street market location which offers a restroom but no water fountain. They offer changing rooms inside the studio. The staff is always friendly and they are experts at what they do.
If your considering, they have free first classes.

BYB is the best place for experienced or new Yogis. The instructors are all unique in their own style and personality so you have many options to choose from. This is my first and only place I go to yoga.

Absolutely the best hot yoga! I love the instructors and I can always count on a good calorie burn. I’m bummed about the Norman location closing, but it’s worth the trek to midtown if I have time!

I only do Sunday at 10 but the class is one of the best I've been to hands down. Good size studio class is always packed. Teacher is great. Can't speak for other classes but I'm sure all as good as Sun @ 10

Best studio in OKC! Instructors are knowledgeable and welcoming. Every class is also so different, which I love because it never gets boring! They also offer a first class free and new client specials which makes it easy to try before you buy!

Need to cancel a membership. Enrolled in autopay, moving from the local area. They won’t answer the phone, return a voicemail, text message, or email. Avoid.
Update: Got a return email. Acknowledged the cancellation, and that I would be billed again for having missed the monthly cut off dates. Said I would dispute the charge, and got the “we’re a small business trying to survive covid” excuse. It’s not covid that will ruin your business, it’s your customer service. Good luck.

Got a chance to try out a free class of hot yoga upon the recommendation of friends and had enjoyed the one hour plus of breathing, stretching and simply focus on the here-&-now.
Yoga mats and blocks are available for you to use if you don't have one and the instructions are easy to follow. If you are new to yoga, simply tell the instructor and he/she will be more than willing to check on your poses throughout the class.
Hot yoga, as the name implies, is done in a very warm environment as they turn on the heaters all around the perimeter of the space. You can stay in the middle of the room if you don't want to be too warm along the walls.
Anyway, having practice yoga on and off for the last two years, hot yoga is a nice alternative way. Being in a warm space, your muscles warm and loosen up faster. Do hydrate well as you will be perspiring alot. And bring a towel as you will be dripping wet!

My favorite studio in the city for Yoga and Barre! BYB creates an open environment for all levels of fitness. The community is fun and supportive, and the teachers are welcoming and diverse. If you don't love one teacher's style, keep going - they're all very different and you will no doubt find a class and teacher you connect with. Highly recommend, something and someone for everyone at BYB!

Ill start off by saying this. My mother came in just yesterday. Shes been coming for a couple weeks now. And she was a tad bit late this time, which she says many of others come in late all the time. And the instructor that was teaching came up to my mother, and asked if she had a medical condition. As my mother told her her knees were bad at that. The lady continued to asked my mother to leave with no reason. And made my mother look like a fool in front of people. As she proceeded to tell her to leave as my mother paid to be there. She had everyone looking at her as if she was a criminal or something. As my mom is in her 50 the audacity to even do that pretty much tell her to get out and as she leaves the lady locks the door as if shes about to do something bad. Like im appalled and frustrated im writing this to whoever will read. And yes my mother is African American, and my mother would never bring this up but to say shes the only other black woman that goes in there she says she only ever sees one other African American. I hate to bring in the race card as i have many multi cultural friends and family. I am sickened that someone would try to humiliate a person because they are late, or the color of their skin. Then locks the doors on a paying customer. I wish no one would go here to experience this. This is horrible and i will find the instructions name. Because this isn't right. Never will i ever reccomend this place to anyone. Im so mad that i heard this at 6 in the morning im beyond ready to call the GM or owner. This is sick and you need to be out of Oklahoma
Theres no time for that here as were growing.

Went to hot yoga on Saturday and it was great! The instructor was amazing and I loved his personality. However, the company is receiving 3 stars because the do not provide towels, water, etc. they don’t tell you that before you show up and they should. Don’t know people who carry towels on them when trying to pick up a class while out of town. 17$ is steep for a drop in class with no accommodations.

When the groupon was purchased, I️ was told that I️ had two months to activate the groupon, not two months to use all the classes. What a scam. The person who “helped” me was rude and uncompromising. Will never return. Do not recommend to anyone.

I look forward to Tiffani's classes every Thursday and Sunday (when I can get up on the weekends!). I love the energy, music, just everything about her classes! I've taken from Katherine as well. Every time I leave BYB, I feel like I've worked every muscle in my body!

I really enjoyed this studio. The barre class was so fun and made me feel so good! It was nice to have an upbeat workout that kept me going and went by so fast. I also loved the core class, and could feel the work the next day! By far, the best classes I have taken.

I had never done yoga before I joined Balance Yoga Barre and now I'm addicted/obsessed. I look forward to my classes every week (even the 6am ones)! The classes are perfect for beginners and advanced yogis. The barre classes are fun and challenging, as well. After a little over a month of classes, I already feel like I am advancing in my practice. The instructors are the best! They make me feel comfortable and help me improve my postures. I highly recommend Balance Yoga Barre!

Awesome location in the heart of Automobile Alley in Downtown OKC. Welcoming instructors that make the beginner to experienced feel at home. BarreFlow and Crazy Core classes are my go to but Hot Yoga is becoming a fast favorite. Four Star Fitness gym is just downstairs and offers a great rate to join if you're a B.Y.B. member.
p.s. after going 3 days a week for the last 4 weeks I've already had to buy smaller pants!
