My little granddaughter climbed to the top of the big wall at least three times! Very friendly staff. Everyone has to fill out a waiver but it is quick and fairly easy. Very helpful staff.

1 really bad experience with the staff was all it took.
I won't be back.
My bad experience involved an extremely condescending person giving the lead climb test. It was a bad enough experience that after climbing there for 2 years and it being a month after-the-fact, I still have no intention of going there again.

The staff here is great. I've toured here a couple times and climbed here a bit more, and the staff has been nothing but friendly. I also brought my little here from Big Brothers Big Sisters, and he wants to come back!

They have a mix of top-roping, lead climbing, bouldering, auto-belays, a moon wall, gym equipment, yoga studio, a gear shop, so basically everything you'd want out of a climbing gym.

They're not the largest climbing gym, but between the great service, the different activities you can do here, and the pricing (not sure if I'm allowed to post this, so please let me know if I need to delete this part) $599 for their current annual membership deal, $650 after taxes, although that deal expires today. This is a great deal, and much cheaper than in California for sure.

Shoutout to William(? sorry, I met him only briefly on a tour last year), mostly Miles and Jade for being so patient with me and my little during our visit, and to Malachi and Christine.

Front desk is way too slow. Plan on spending at least 20 minutes up front before you get to the climbing. If there are other β€œserious” climbers up front, the discussion can have you waiting even longer!

Tulsa Climbing gyms is a wonderful place to bring a friend or two to hangout for the weekend. Not the largest gym, but has a good amount of bouldering and top rope. There is also sport climbing, but remember just like any climbing gym you have to take the class to get certified.

I love Climb Tulsa! I've been going off and on for a few years now and it's always such a great time, super clean facility, they frequently adjust the routes, and the staff is always knowledgeable and friendly

Last time I went by I was looking at getting a new pair of shoes and Matt H was especially helpful in explaining the difference between the shoes and helping me find the best option for me.

This was a really fun experience with the kids. We did the Family Intro to Climbing class to get our kids used to climbing and open up access to the whole facility. They both loved it! Our instructor (and all of the staff we interacted with) was really friendly and helpful.

We will definitely be back!

Update:
My son has since done a few Climbing Club classes here and we signed up for a membership. We love coming here. Great facility and, as mentioned before, very friendly and helpful staff!

Very friendly environment, and the workers are spectacular especially Zeke and Jamie thank you both for making my brother and I's 9 week climb camp fun and exciting and for ending the week with my birthday celebration!

I love that the Rock wall changes courses, it always gave me a challenge and made climbing interesting!

It is a great place to catch up with old friends, and to make new ones. I highly recommend going to Climb Tulsa!

Took the day off work last Friday and drove from out of town to bring my kids for some bouldering. I planned my visit with the website, filled out the forms and thought we were ready to go. Arrived a few minutes after opening only to see a sign posted on the door that the bouldering area was closed for an upcoming event last weekend. Staff inside confirmed that bouldering was closed.

My advice is to call ahead before you visit. There was no mention on the website of the bouldering closure.

Didn’t get too far inside so review is strictly on front desk guest services.

I walked in to get a new pair of shoes, and hopefully get a tour of the place and get some bouldering in. When I walked in the worker was helping another guest so I waited a bit and then went and looked at the shoes. Once he finished his interaction I made my way to him, to get some help with the shoes. He looked me up and down and then just walked away.. Made me feel super weird tbh. I then just waited as a few other workers made their way past me. No one said a word. So, unfortunately with the bad taste left and the feeling of not being wanted I will not be attempting to climb here and will just have to find shoes else where. I am very disappointed as I was really looking forward to this.

1/10 would not recommend due to not being inviting or welcoming at all.

We had a blast. I decided to surprise my girlfriend with a weekend date and signed us up for a session. I had never been climbing before, but she’s apparently done it multiple times. Our instructor was thorough and very kind.

My daughter has been attending their club courses for close to a year, and she has enjoyed every second of it. Nyia and David have shown incredible knowledge and patience with her, along with making climbing fun and safe.

I also have appreciated the adult course with Sawyerβ€”he is patient, knowledgeable, and makes everything accessible, while still highlighting the risks of climbing. He was an exceptional instructor. I have appreciated every staff member I’ve met, and the climbers are also very kind and helpful. 10/10 recommend.

One of the better climb facilities with the rules and how they explain and teach. They really want to make sure everyone is safe and knows what’s going on. They had all levels of routes in the auto belay and belays. The boulder room did seem heavy on harder routes but they do have a few of the lower level ones. So much merchandise for any of your climbing or camping needs. Staff was very friendly and seemed to always be around to answer questions. Even for a rainy Saturday afternoon, it wasn’t unbearably busy.

Perhaps I just went on the wrong day, or perhaps I'm just the wrong person for this establishment. It seemed like the kind of place for people who've never visited a mountain much less climbed actual rock. The routes were unimaginative, and the staff were less than helpful. Also, be prepared to sign a waiver just by stepping foot through the door even to purchase shoes located right next to the door. Indeed, the staff were almost rude until we did sign but less rude afterward. I can imagine that they've had some resistance to the waivers, but they seem standard these days for almost anything. And, while kids are allowed to climb, the place and staff are not kid friendly.

I always take my climbing shoes with me when I travel and look for an opportunity to visit the local rock gym. This past week I was in Tulsa and had the opportunity to visit Climb Tulsa. I generally focus on bouldering and climb in the V2-4 range in most gyms.
I found climb Tulsa to be clean and well laid out wit the walls on the lower level and bouldering on the second level. The bouldering space used single color holds on the problems which I prefer and had good spacing where the holds from other problems were generally not in the way. I feel that their ratings were in line with my expectations.
The good: Loved the creativity in the problems, there were quite a few that I worked that I really needed to think about to work through the beta. I also got a friendly vibe from most other climbers and ended up working together with 1 or 2 people on a few projects. There was also a large group of regulars who were working the new set, they were not very inclusive of me as an outsider but it was good to see the diverse age and skill levels that were hanging out and working together if you are looking for your regular gym.
The opportunities: Hard to address given space constraints but I did not feel comfortable on many climbs because the space between the walls was not a lot and people were hanging out in the middle area a little too close to my potential fall zone.
Overall a very good gym and I would definitely go back next time I am in Tulsa.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and the patrons are also really friendly and helpful. Though it can get crowded at times, sometimes this provided a necessary rest between attempts.

There's plenty to choose from, including auto-belaying routes (there were 6 available when we visited), manual belayed routes (which require certification, and there were plenty of these despite about 1/3rd of the lower floor being modified), kid-friendly bouldering walls, an entire bouldering section, a weights/workout equipment section (for 16yo+). It was all clean and well-maintained. It was also surprisingly affordable, even with five of us climbing and renting equipment.

We'll definitely be back to try the classes and certifications.

Overall, the climbing amenities are good. If you have a friend or someone to climb with you ALREADY know, then you’ll be good. Otherwise, do not expect friendly people or to make any friends whatsoever. The entire staff and most of the regulars are very much in a clique, they will actually avoid you if at all possible. There are literally two dudes who are brothers and almost twins and they are the coolest guys there, genuinely friendly guys. Everybody else will look at you as if you do not belong if you didn’t bring your own friend group. Overall, do not expect real friendliness, expect the smile at your face while you are paying for membership and then everyday from then on it is very :| . I can name and point out several people whom after several times trying to simply be friendly to them they go out of their way to avoid me.
In conclusion, if you already have someone to climb with this place is ok. I highly recommend to check out Avery Drive and the local spots over this place any day. Even then, the locals at all the crags will look at you funny simply because they’ve never seen you before as if that’s not how everyone started at some point. Very unaccepting people in this area. Coming from Oregon and Utah, this place is a joke. Wishing for another gym to open up in the area. Kind of a lame place to hold the β€˜monopoly’ on climbing.

It might be the only rock gym in Tulsa, but the modern facilities; constant rotation of routes across lead, top rope, and bounding; and strong, encouraging community make this rock gym more than just a rock gym. It’s an absolute gift to have such a great facility right in the middle of tulsa that outshines many locations in far bigger cities.

(The one thing it could improve is having more autobelays. Thankfully, the community is very welcoming and you won’t have any issues picking up a belay buddy.)

Source: Google

Mike Doolittle

β˜… 5

Climb is kind of ridiculously amazing. I'm relatively new to climbing, but there are a variety of activities tailored for all skill levels and the community is just pure positivity. I rented equipment for my first month to see if I liked it, then spent the coin to upgrade to my own gear which I purchased right from their shop why the help of a friendly staffer.

Anyone can come in and start using the auto belays and bouldering area their first day. If you want to climb with a partner, their ropes course is FREE for members which is very generous. People way cooler than I am can dive into lead climbing, which is a paltry $55 for members.

There are tons of activities for kids (including classes and childcare), tons of community events, and even competitions if you're into that. Staff is friendly and helpful - you can tell everyone is passionate about the climbing community.

The place is also very clean, spacious, and well organized. I've yet to explore all the member perks (I see you, yoga), but everything I've done has been a blast. I'd been eyeing Climb for ages, and I can't believe I didn't join sooner.

A truly excellent climbing gym. Great route setting and options for bouldering, top rope, and sport. (No top outs in the boulder area). The gym has a section of short top ropes upstairs with rocktopia walls that they’ve done a fantastic job setting crack routes in. If you’re hoping to practice jamming, you’ve got several really cool options upstairs that climb similar to some conglomerate or sandstone (non splitter) cracks. There are splitter style cracks you can lead in the main big wall area, including some that change angle / size. Sport includes a cave with a ceiling traverse. Workout area is small, and the gym overall can get crowded, but it’s really a great spot. Gear shop is excellent. They’ve got a killer selection of active and passive pro, camping gear, soft goods, and thoughtful odds and ends, plus some local artists’ work and some fun stuff like stickers and printed rope tarps. Staff is friendly and accessible. They’ve got a few auto belays, but expect to wait in line and probably do some laps on a few if that’s all you’re there for. I’ll be back anytime I’m visiting the Tulsa metro area.

Solid place and great staff. A bit crowded in the top rope area but decent problems

This gym is large and in charge.
I really like how tall the walls as I am from new Orleans and we really only have bouldering

The gym has many signs advertising kaya but when my partner and I opened the app the gym didn't have any routes set and the worker we spoke to (super nice guy) said he never heard of the app. This made me and my partner really confused but whatever

The staff is all really good at handling a large group and doing the orientation!

The routes are almost all tagged and the ones that aren't have a 'grade it yourself' little tag, which I thought was really neat!
But the bouldering routes need to be re-graded because holy molly. The V0-V3 were almost always two grades higher. This made it harder to teach new people how to climb and teach technique because they couldn't even complete the route.

Huge facility and it's kept as clean as a rock climbing gym can be. We have been to many different gyms, and honestly, this one was a little disappointing.
It is definitely the most expensive one that we have been to. It's a little too crowded on the second floor with the bouldering/ workout equipment. So people just have to stand on the mats with all of their kit, that's not the safest. The climbs aren't listed on Kaya and MANY of them are graded way too low. They have a big shop, but its marked up pretty high.
This is not the gym to go to if you're experienced and are looking for a peaceful time.

First of all getting into the parking lot was a pain!! Sign on door said Flash sale this weekend. I was there on a Friday and the sign was up. I walked in the retail was mostly shoes and survival gear. Big display of camping gear but only a small section of climbing hardware. I was looking for specific hardware. THEY DID NOT HAVE WHAT I wanted. They had a few things that would do the same job. I had one staff member push me out of the way of shopping so he could melt the end of the rope he was working with. When I get to the register I over the staff member being rude and short with over customers. When it was my turn to check out the staff member demanded my name only after I asked why he needed my name did let me know it was incase of safety recalls. Since I didn't find what I was looking for I asked the staff member. His reply was he didn't that kind of hardware he would know what they carried. I had to ask him to ask another staff member that would know. That staff member tried to sell me an item that was 3 time the amount and not even close to what I was asking for. Then when I get checked out I get told that the sale is the next day. Then get told it says weekend that means Saturday and Sunday only no where on the sign did it say that. I get that weekend doesn't mean Fridays to some people but at least let customers know that when you put up a flash sale. The staff seems to have no knowledge of there products and being a specialty shop that is sad. I do not recommend anyone climbing at this location. Where I grew up rock climbing and repelling is a year round sport and very common. If a shop there acted like this they would not be in business for very long. Needless to say I walked out with out buying anything!
