*I will update this review once there is a resolution* - I am going to copy and paste the exact email I sent so there are no discrepancies (taking names out for privacy). First, Let me give a huge shout out to DT, Khattabi, and Nicole, they rock. You can tell they really love what they do.
_______________________________________________________________

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally address a concern regarding my participation in the Transformation Challenge and the subsequent personal training sessions at Crunch Quail Springs.

On August 14th, 2025, I signed up for the Transformation Challenge, paying the $99 entry fee. On September 9th, 2025, I had my first complimentary personal training session with the personal trainer. After that session, I agreed to a one-day-per-week personal training plan with her. The Terms and Conditions document for that agreement included a handwritten note specifying that payment would only cover sessions through the remainder of the Transformation Challenge, which was signed by both the personal trainer, and I believe, the Personal Training Manager.

I completed four of the six scheduled sessions, however, the personal trainer canceled the remaining two due to her own scheduling conflicts, as she was no longer available on my only available day for PT, which was Wednesdays. When I attempted to cancel the remaining sessions at the gym, I was informed that I would owe an additional $300 per the contract. When I asked to review the contract, I explained that the terms had not been properly reviewed or explained to me before signing and that the handwritten condition - acknowledged by both the personal trainer and (who I assume) the Manager, should take precedence.

To fulfill the remaining sessions, I was placed with another trainer, with whom I did not feel comfortable. During our sessions, she asked inappropriate personal questions about my political affiliation and my opinions on CNN and the White House, which I felt were unprofessional and unrelated to my training. Following this encounter, I informed her that I would not be returning for further sessions.

Additionally, after the Transformation Challenge ended, I went to the gym on Monday, October 27th, to complete my final weigh-in. I was told by one of the managers that I was ineligible because I was "late." However, the trainer that has been doing the group classes, posted that same morning on the Crunch Quail Springs Community Page on Facebook to "Get your final weigh-outs so we can get our results in and announce our challenge winner." Given that guidance, I believe I should have been allowed to complete my final weigh in. I attended every class, twice a week, for the entire challenge, and was disappointed to be excluded from the final results.

These experiences led me to end my membership after a year and a half with Crunch. I respectfully request a refund for the two personal training sessions that I was pressured to complete with a different trainer, as well as a refund for the $99 Transformation Challenge fee, since I was unfairly disqualified from the final weigh-in.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope we can reach a fair resolution.

_____________________________________________________________

The response I got was so generic with no accountability or resolution to be had, I do feel it is fair to get the funds I put into the Challenge back as well as the extra $150 that was going to be used for the last two training sessions. I am not asking for every training session that was paid back, not even the training session with the political experience added.

The facility is always clean. Great contests and events to motivate anyone who attends. Plenty of variety in terms of fitness classes. The instructors are well trained and so helpful no matter the person’s fitness level. My personal fav instructors at Quail Springs are Jessica, Julie, and Amy. They know their stuff! They make class fun and worthwhile. Full of great music and great workouts. If you have not visited this gym I suggest going and becoming a member.

I love this gym! I mainly take classes (which are truly so organized) and the vibes ARE THERE. I know I’m guaranteed an amazing work out with Jessica! Julie’s classes are also motivating. If you’re looking for a gym full of trained professionals to pump you up and come along side you with your health journey - look no more!

I LOVE this gym!
ESPECIALLY the classes! I’ve paid ridiculous money for boot camps/ HIIT camps in the past and this is by far one of my favorite places and my favorites trainers! I’ve only done classes with Jessica and Lacy at Quail springs and NW expressway location but so far it has not disappointed! Some classes are fast paced and some are slow. It literally has something for everyone. I also have a lower back injury and they always accommodate. Very comfortable and encouraging !

I have been a member at this location for over a year now and have no plans to leave.

The childcare is fantastic, and my kids look forward to going. They adore Ms. Queen and have a blast playing with her.

I absolutely love the classes, Tough Tread being my favorite. Jessica is friendly and encouraging, and I always leave feeling pumped up and accomplished.

I cannot recommend this gym enough, and I have had multiple friends follow me in joining!

I started going to this location while I waited for the Edmond location to open. My daughter talked me into taking a Saturday Tough Tread class with Jessica Haddock. This class combines hills, cardio and weights in one fun 45 minute session.

It is as hard as you make it. Meaning Jessica guides you but you choose your level of hard and are encouraged to challenge yourself.

When I started I could barely do any incline on the hills and slow walking on the cardio. I’ve progressed since January 2025 to full incline on hills and even jogging on the level 3 of cardio. I would have never pushed myself to do that if it weren’t for this class.

I now go to Tough Tread at Edmond two days a week and always back to Quail Springs on Saturday for Jessica’s class. I’ve lost 73 pounds since January 2025. And my last vacation was able to walk miles with hills and uneven pavement without tiring. I credit these group sessions for the motivation to workout consistently and stay focused on winning a lifetime battle with obesity.

There are so many options at this place! All types of classes at all different times; I promise you will find something for you! I’m a group fitness person and have tried numerous classes, but my favorites are Tough Tread—take it with Jessica! You won’t regret it!—and the hot classes. And Charity and her Zumba classes will leave you feeling like the best dancer around! (Note: I most definitely am NOT but I imagine I am when I’m in her class.)

I know, I know, everyone hates a treadmill, but you will definitely not hate it in this class. The class is fast-paced and mixes short periods of treadmill cardio with upper body weights. The running/walking/jogging/whatever pace and weights are selected by you for whatever you feel that day, so you can work as hard or as easy as you like! I don’t know where Jessica gets her playlists but I universally love them and often find myself trying to sing as I’m huffing and puffing. When the music is loud and we can all hear it across our 12 treadmills, the class is really fun. The music keeps us going and Jessica is the most excellent motivator, handing out high fives and laughter the entire time. If you’re into group fitness, check out what Crunch and their awesome instructors have to offer!

I love this location, it has the hot room and the hydro massage beds are always available. I am a group fitness person and I love the variety of classes offered here. Jessica is a great instructor and I typically only come to her classes. She is very consistent and will push you so that the workout is always challenging!

I’ve been going to Crunch for about a year now and mostly take HIIT, Pilates, and cycling classes. I can honestly say every instructor I’ve had brings amazing energy, creative workouts, and a motivating atmosphere. They always offer great modifications for all levels, which makes it easy to challenge yourself while still feeling supported.

The environment here is super welcoming, and it really feels like a community. Each class pushes me in the best way and keeps me excited to come back. Between the fun playlists, positive instructors, and variety of workouts, Crunch has easily become one of my favorite parts of the week! I have made several really good friends here that motivate me to be better!

I originally joined because of the boxing class. Been going here for almost a year.
For the cost of the peak membership you get all kinds of perks such as unlimited classes, red light, massage chairs and if you have kids you have access to their daycare at no extra charge.
The staff is pretty cool and the instructors for the classes are legit but the one that stands out the most is jessica. She brings the appropriate amount of energy and motivation that is tailored for the class she is teaching (she teaches a boxing class which naturally requires a higher level of intensity and energy and she is also sophisticated enough to know to be calmer and less intense when she teaches her yoga classes.)

If you're in the market for a new gym you can't go wrong with crunch (and if you're itching to be a part of a community, take one of Jessica's classes. You won't be disappointed)

I have been with this gym since they first opened. It has been the best experience I’ve ever had at any gym. The group fitness program/classes has helped completely change my life. The instructors are so encouraging. Jessica is the absolute best too! I have no complaints about any of the instructors there but if you want to be pushed and encouraged at the same time, please attend one of her classes! Thank you crunch group fitness program!

Do not start a membership with this Gym they will never let you out of taking money out of your account with out a physical going into the gym but did not require so much to sign up for them to deduct money out of your account!! Never could use machines as people just hang out on them on their phones, not very clean and overcrowded

I dont mind the gym over all. But why does the class in the back corner of the main floor have to have their music 🎶 SO LOUD! Talked to staff about it and others also complained, but they refused to do anything about it. This is why I run outside. But today it was raining.. PS, staff was laughing in the corner at their desk like the complaint was funny or something. (Brooks) was one of the employees that was spoken to.

Good price if you want to work out and not hear your music. I don’t like group workouts. I come to do my own thing, but twice I’ve had them run a floor class blasting music and speakers so loud that you cannot hear your own music in your headphones on the opposite side of the floor: only reason this is a 1 star is when I’ve asked twice they’ve said it’s a “known problem” and “repeated problem” multiple people said they couldn’t hear their music and they didn’t do anything. I left my workout and went to Lifetime gym to finish my workout. I was trying to switch to this gym because it’s closer to home but they make it where I can’t even do my own thing and listen to my own music. If you see a floor class with Jessica just stay home another hour. It’s not worth getting angry and having the staff laugh at your frustration. Yes my husband was on the bikes and said the staff was laughing after I left. So cool.

The gym overall is super nice, my first 3 visits were awesome. In and out no problem, but tonight I went as I went in to scan my app barcode, there was this light skin woman with braided hair and face tattoos. She told me and my buddy that we had signed up for the wrong location, and when trying to ask questions to help my confusion. She just said it’s difficult and she can’t do it, just kept saying use the app. Then when I went on the app I tried to show her what the app was telling me and she rudely told me to back up from her space because she is smacking on her grapes and she doesn’t want me breathing on them. I’ve never had a worse customer experience anywhere else. Honestly insane.

WHAT A SCAM!
I have been trying to cancel my membership at this location since July. I submitted the cancellation form online three different times because staff kept saying it “wasn’t going through.” I don’t live nearby, so I couldn’t keep going in person. Every time I called, they told me to fill it out online again—yet they continued charging me.

Today I called again for the 4th time and finally had someone capable of cancelling over the phone. They informed me that unless you cancel at least 30 days before your billing date, you’ll still be charged. They also refused to issue a refund because they “couldn’t see” my previous cancellation attempts. Even though I have cancelled 3 times.

Their system clearly needs fixing, and the staff should be more helpful instead of dismissive. I will never be joining Crunch Fitness again. I’d rather pay more at a gym that values its members and handles cancellations professionally. Totally unacceptable.

Buyer beware!!!! I had surgery and was given a doctors note, the gym said they would freeze my personal training payments until I started my sessions again… I was month to month no contract, they still took money out of my account I talked to the manager they said it won’t happen again it was a miss we didn’t have the paperwork, they did I have proof it was submitted, they said it won’t happen again, they again took out 240 out of my account two weeks later. I talked to the Gm Corey he said I issued a refund, a week and a half later, still no money, he said oh can I get the doctors note again, I had already done everything I was suppose to do. This was a miss on their end, Corey told me he had already issued me a credit, he lied. He didn’t communicate with me and when he did I felt like I had to track him down for a conversation. He told me 2 days ago he issued a credit, still have no money my next step is to turn it into the bank as fraud. I have been going to this gym for over a year since they opened the personal training is great … Eric is fabulous, the upper management is poor and that’s being generous. I feel lied to and disrespected. The corporate number rings and hangs up, it’s a joke. They care about the next buck they will swindle out of the next joker that turns up, do not sign up with them until management is replaced. There is zero follow thru and zero communication… this gym was a safe space and now it’s a joke.

In the last four months, I’ve visited this gym over 100 times. Let me be clear: I love this gym. It’s allowing me to change my life for the better. However, I must rate 3 stars because I am consistently let down by the state of the women’s locker room. The stalls are constantly out of toilet paper and trash liters the floor. I recognize this is a 24 hour gym and the staff can’t always be cleaning, but when I see the same piece of trash three days in a row, it’s clear the maintenance schedule needs revision.

Clean newer location, sauna, hydro bed, etc. Truckers: You can’t bring your full unit here. Showers at the truck stop are always better imho but, showers here were still clean. You can’t wear shoes into the sauna so bring socks for the sauna or wipe off your slides and use those. Bobtail is easy. There’s also a Family Dollar, Sally’s and two food places in the same shopping center. Nice ppl. Chill area. Zero issues.

My wife and son signed up for Crunch Fitness’s “free trial,” expecting a simple, risk-free way to check out the gym. What they got instead was a nightmare of hidden fees and impossible cancellation policies. Trying to cancel? Forget it. The fine print they conveniently bury will sneak up on you fast, turning what should have been a free trial into an expensive commitment.

Yes, it’s our fault for trusting a business to act in good faith. But let this be a warning: Crunch Fitness has perfected a ruthless money-making model built on misleading customers and locking them in without clear exit options.

If you value your time and money, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this trap.

Reached out to the gym and was told my membership has been cancelled and that the last payment I made was part of their policy. They are still drafting payments from an account I’m no longer authorized to use and management hasn’t called back like I was told or have responded to me via email as I requested. I was told it would be hassle free to cancel anytime which is not the case. I hate leaving negative reviews but why isn’t this issue being resolved????

Absolutely not worth it if you're looking for fitness classes.
*Owners email from their response doesn't work. Email bounced back saying Failed Address.

If you're hoping to use this gym for group fitness classes, make sure to call and verify the classes you are wanting to take are 1. Available at that location and 2. Part of the membership level you're wanting to get.
The Crunch website is vague on what classes are available per each membership level when you "join now". You have to go into the specific franchise locations to see which classes are available to you. I joined to for the yoga and Pilates classes since the page I was reviewing mentioned group fitness classes as part of the Peak Membership. However once I joined and tried to sign up for a class and was not able to I found out that my location offers only Hot yoga classes which are only available in the Peak Results level which is not clear unless you go to the Quail Springs specific franchise location page.

*You can only book a fitness class 22hrs in advance, if you aren't able it book right then the class will fill up.

Overall disappointed in the classes available to me at my membership level, considering group yoga classes are available at other crunch locations and part of Peak Membership but not available at Quail Springs.

Since moving here, I have tried out a few gyms but none of them even come close to this one. From the very first phone call, Kris was awesome. Super friendly, professional, and really knew what he was talking about. He explained everything clearly, pricing, amenities, what to expect, and made me feel completely comfortable before I even stepped foot inside.

When I came in to sign up, Jason took care of everything. You can tell right away how much he cares about the gym and the people coming in. He was extremely welcoming, enthusiastic, and made the whole process simple and easy. His energy and passion for the gym really stood out. It is not something you see at every location.

Both Kris and Jason clearly go above and beyond to make sure members have the best experience possible. They are both super knowledgeable, friendly, and honestly made joining this gym a no-brainer for me. You can tell they take a lot of pride in the gym and the community they have built here. Honestly, I would not be surprised if both of them end up running their own locations someday. They have the kind of leadership and customer service skills that every gym needs.

On top of all that, the gym itself is huge, spotless, and loaded with equipment for a really reasonable price. The equipment is well maintained, everything is super clean, and even the members do a great job keeping the place organized. It is easily the best gym I have been to in a long time.

If anyone asks me where to join, this is the first place I recommend.

Nice gym pretty good equipment especially for the price. A little too busy during peak hours. A lot of idiots sitting on machines on their phones. I wish they laid out the dumbbells differently so if you needed a 55 pound dumbbell, you don’t have to walk from one end all the way to the other, they should split the different weightsfrom the middle to the left and then the middle to the right. Constantly no collars for barbells when squatting around the squat racks you can’t find them, which is dangerous. Overall though a four star.

We tried Crunch on a promo to compare them to our gym. Crunch is an amazing facility. The equipment is top notch and plentiful. My issue was the competition for space and culture. While there, we had two of our machines sniped by other members while we were using them! Were not used to that type of culture. Mega gyms are like mega anything else. It's either for you or not. We're from a small town gym. Compared to other gyms, Crunch is a nice facility with very nice staff. With the list of amenities, the possibilities are endless for ypur fitness journey. It's just not our gym so we went ahead and canceled our membership. We do appreciate the chance to compare.

UPDATE 4/9/2025:

It is a good gym with lots of equipment, except for the patrons that are extremely inconsiderate when there is a lack thereof. I really want to reccomend and give 5 stars. I absolutely cannot.
The communication with the training manager is terrible. I had a 6mth training contract & the trainer was awesome.
I highly reccomend him. He was great!
However, when it came time for me to cancel, the process is assinine.
- There is ONE person who does cancelations.
I initially called Jan 27th and had to leave a message because she was in a meeting. She never called me back.
I called again and spoke to Jason who got with her and she FINALLY texted me to confirm she would back date my cancelation notification on Jan 27.
When I was able to make it into the gym, she was on a trip, then she had thr flu. Even at my last appointment she never made a point to communicate with me.
I can appreciate that things happens.
However, there was NO COMMUNICATION from her to me directly about my cancelation and the process.
I had a makeup session on Mar 1.
I am still being charged for training.
Again, I called the gym on March 11 and told by Kristen I would need to leave a message and she would call me back by the end of the day. I have heard nothing.

EDIT to add : I absolutely WILL NOT be emailing the managers. I left a message 2 days ago with Kristen- a manager for another manager. I will just contact my bank.

I want to give this place five stars, but can’t simply because the customer service is really that bad. The current Quail Springs Group Fitness Coordinator deleted me from the community page for providing constructive feedback and suggestions regarding the amount of pressure put on instructors to meet class quotas and the importance of meeting Zumba licensing criteria in order for a class to be marketed as a Zumba class. She gave a dodging response then proceeded to delete me from the page. I guess the employees aren’t trained on how to appropriately respond to feedback from the members.

If there was any other gym worth a crap in my area I would cancel this membership immediately. My last two visits have been horrendous! Tonight I brought by the neighbors kid with me and my two girls and although her family also has a family menses they would not allow her into the play area unless I paid a one time fee of $10 (I guess the two family memberships we pay isn’t enough to cover it) which was fine except they don’t have tap to pay and I didn’t have my wallet on me. For context this was around 7:10 pm this evening and I was just wanting to let the girls stretch their legs out while I hit the sauna. Needless to say, we were denied and turned away.

The visit previous to this one as I walked into the men’s locker room the staff member in the bathroom said hello and told me to enjoy the sauna and as soon as I get in the sauna he turned it off without telling me!!! After about 15 minutes I realized it was losing heat so I stepped out to ask if there was something wrong with the sauna and the same staff member says “I turned it off to clean” but never mentioned that me instead just let me sit in there knowing it was turned off!?!

The customer service here is awfulllllllll….i so wish there was another option, I only joined for the sauna but seriously may go back to VASA or the YMCA. Kids run this place and have no common sense.

So upsetting !!!!

This facility is one of the best I've used in OKC.
The gym equipment is new and top notch.
The childcare always leaves my 5-year-old and my 9-year-old begging to return (which is extra motivation for me to go to the gym with them during the summertime)!
This is the first location where I've signed up for personal training, and Eric Valdez has been phenomenal as my trainer. He has done a good job educating me and motivating to meet my personal goals.
Several months after signing up, I'm still glad that I did.

I have really enjoyed my experience here so far. They always have plenty of weights even when it's busy (can't say the same for Vasa). I have really loved the spin and yoga classes, for that alone I feel it is worth the price. I love spending my Sundays with Jessica! The red light therapy is a really nice feature. If I could add anything I wanted I would add a cold plunge, but honestly for what you get I feel the price is very fair!

Cleanliness needs to be a thing here. I understand it's always busy but the locker rooms and showers are always dirty. The suana smell absolutely disgusting. There was a piece of poop stain that was there for a week, same with the tanning beds, its definitely not cleaned after every use, there's hair and dust on the floor. I've been patient but it seems like it's an everyday thing.

They say you can cancel anytime, but my daughter who had signed up when she had a job lost her job and when she tried to cancel, they wouldn’t allow her to cancel until she paid up all her fees. Every month they kept charging her more and not allowing her to cancel. I would discourage anyone from signing up without thoroughly reading the paperwork on detail. I had called and negotiated down her fee, but it took a couple weeks before I could take a day off to come in and meet with the manager as they told me too. When I came in, they charge me $30 on top of what we negotiated. If they can get you, they will get you. But they will not get my membership for sure.

This place is a great alternative to very similar overpriced other option. With all or more equipment. Having said that, so many people just chatting talking on phones, literally watching tv on phone holding up benches and machines. It’s absolutely mind blowing. I have hour half dedicated to working out and takes well over two hours here. If you don’t mind that I suppose it will work for some people.

Thank you for the reviews! I was looking for a gym and seen this place a lot but after reading about how shady they are, no thanks. That's pretty pathetic to do that to people just trying to improve themselves. Maybe one day when the management finds empathy on its people I'll lead people to this gym and go there myself but until then. Nope, I don't do business with people like that. Thanks again for the helpful reviews! More money being lost than gained by crunch over stupid stuff!!

Pros:
Affordable basic membership and open 24 hrs.

Plenty of squat racks and free weights, plus belt squat, at least two different variations of hack squats (3 in total), two smith machines. I would like to see a seated calf machine added. There are a good mix of cable machines and plenty of treadmills plus two Concept 2 rowers++. Two separate turf areas.
I have never waited to squat or deadlift. Occasionally wait for certain leg machines but I can always work around it.

Gym personnel have always been professional and positive **evening and night crew++
Gym is located in an area I feel safe in.

I have some critiques However, I think you’re getting a good deal for the price regardless of the negatives.

Cleanliness in the restroom/locker room varies, we could use a second trash can in the Women’s locker room to help persuade others to throw their trash away appropriately. Can you please add hooks to the walls in the shower area. There is a blood stain on the metal frame of the exit doors that has been there for almost two months.

It does feel a little muggy in there at times and it really brings out everyone’s body odor and heavy perfumes/colognes. **This is just a preference but the yellow toned lighting really bothers me sometimes, Vasa has better lighting…I know who would really notice or care but I guess I’m that person.

My other critiques are towards other gym members and it’s the usual plea of re-racking your weights and putting up cable attachments so others can easily find them.

If you load the leg press machine with weights please unload it after use. If you’re going to use the sauna, please be hygienic—bring a towel and some nice smelling oil because it’s not appealing to walk into a sauna covered in recent sweat stains and a lingering smell of musty private parts. Just be kinder to your fellow gym goer.

If you ever plan on canceling your membership do not sign up here. Despite being able to sign up on the website, you cannot cancel on the website or over the phone. I was told I needed to come in person to cancel, then when I did come in I was told the manager wasn’t in and I would need to come back when they were working to cancel. The month to month plan also contains a hidden annual fee. Abysmal predatory business practices to keep people stuck paying for memberships as long as possible. Do not support this business.

BEWARE!!!!! They like to charge your account after you cancel. I received 2 different charges after cancelation with the managers' hands being tied to refund. I asked to escalate, and they offered an email address that would ultimately go back to the management whose hands were tied.
If you cancel, they will still charge you. (the app doesnt let you cancel) i had to go up in person and sence I didn't do it 2 days prior I was charged an extra month.
I even called them back after being charged which they nicely said they would refund then not only was it not refunded it was recharged after i was told there were no more charges.

Fast forward to today when management not only refused to refund offered to show me where there lies were permissable.

So either the agents that signed me up lied to me
OR
The agents that cancled my membership lied to me
OR
management just lied to me

It doesn't matter who lied just that this organization feels it is ok to try to dupe customers

I’ve been a member of almost every major gym organization from 24hr, LA Fitness and Fitness Nation to name a few. This gym is one of the best of them all.

Pros: Overall a great gym for the money. For $40 a month you get the premium package - can’t remember the name of it. It includes a bunch of perks and you get to bring a guest for free as often as you want. If you workout with your wife or partner this is a great value.

Plenty of equipment and if you’re into free weights they have a tone of squat racks and free weights. Even at peak hours you’ll find enough to satisfy your workout.

The cons: Very very busy. If you have a problem with a lot of people working out at the same time you do then maybe this isn’t for you. Also parking at this location during prime time is ridiculous.

Overall I’d recommend.

Save your money. For one no towels? That’s ridiculous and if that’s not worse they run out of paper towels every 30min on the workout floor. It’s the staff that they hired, a bunch of teenagers who won’t do any type of maintenance for the price you’re paying. You never see them cleaning just standing at the front desk. I went today and no one even asks to check in it’s like well I shouldn’t even be paying this could be free. Also, they were out of soap in the men’s restroom in multiple showers. That is unacceptable. I had to come out of the shower to go to another stall and that was empty too.

I really enjoyed the gym at first. It was a great place to work out while I was in town for just a few months. Lots of resources at my disposal for a great price. Or so I thought. Of course after specifically asking about hidden fees upon signing up, I was told that it would just be the monthly charge. Then, I received a 60 dollar bill 2 months later. Ever since, I’ve been trying to cancel. I tried online, but it instructs you to go in person. I tried in store, but the manger was not present on multiple occasions. Eventually, I was told that my membership would be cancelled if I just signed on the dotted line within the store. Yet, here I am again in another state being charged a monthly payment. Very disappointing management.

Why did Crunch Fitness charged me for something I did not receive ($1200 of training). Under the current trainer program that I have, both, me and the trainer have to key in a private code number in order to account for the class received. This required action was never done with the previous trainer, Dinafor Kori, furthermore he admitted that he didn’t know why the classes (never received) were charged and that he would talk to management, apparently didn’t happen or management didn’t care nor did anything to correct the issue (this points towards fraudulent pushing client information). There have been many inconsistencies since we joined Crunch Fitness (me and my husband), trainers leaving (some for unprofessional practices, like Sam Salazar cloning my husband’s account), misguided information on members rights (like the right to cancelling contract within the law permitted timeframe and lying about it), management personnel continuously changing and seems like with every management change they just “pass the buck” to the next one in charge.
I don’t agree with Crunch Fitness charging me for training I did NOT receive and not wanting to refund the charges, instead Crunch Fitness is trying to force me to pay in advance for classes I have not received by freezing current training?. Crunch Fitness has no right to make use of my money they way Crunch Fitness thinks is best for the club.
From what I have seen Crunch Fitness is a fast-growing Fitness institution and I do NOT understand why they do NOT want to correct their mistake/wrongdoing and make it right for me, the client, which I have the intention of being a long-term client.
I would really appreciate a prompt attention on correcting this misdoing from Crunch Fitness part to me.

First and last time there. No greeting when I walked in. Hydro bed was nice but asked where they were. As I stood in line to tan. The girl was talking to a young man about red light. I had to move a few times so he would not step on me. She looked at me 3 times. Another lady comes up behind me and I said it will be a minute because there are talking, when she laughed, the guy moved. I told her I wanted a lay down bed 8 mins. She said their beds are 9 and I said ok. Walk back and it's standing. The same lady laughed and said they weren't listening to you. I said ya think? I walked back and said I wanted a lay down and she said we don't have those. I said that is what I asked for. Mind you I am in a walking cast. The desk person is a blonde with her hair in a bun. The gym itself is decent I guess. It’s your typical gym nothing fancy, ALWAYS full with “gym head” guys tossing weights around and doing the most. But that’s just a personal pet peeve. The app will not accurately tell you how busy it is which is highly frustrating as someone who likes to be alone. Currently says “light” but there are wait times on ALL machines because they’re full! I wasted a whole trip thinking I could come peacefully workout. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this gym if you’re starting your weight loss journey. There’s tooo much going on all the time for my liking. No privacy or peaceful workout has been had in the like 4 months I’ve come here.
I wish the restrooms were more kept and more dressing rooms given how much I pay a month, but there are different type machines in good shape so I deal with it. Who doesn’t like shiney new equipment?!
However, despite all that I put up with it so I can work out super late or super early as I have weird work hours.
BUT the #1 thing that will get me to cancel my membership is the $30 fee to downgrade to basic from premium. That was my last straw. I don’t use the amenities as much as I thought I would but still would like to come workout. But $30 to downgrade?! Now that is absolutely ridiculous. It’s more than the damn premium membership! It’s literally cheaper to cancel and sign up with a new gym. I never considered canceling my membership until your rep told me that. So at this point I’ll just put in my 30 day cancel notice and go back to peaceful planet fitness because I’ve NEVER had issues with their gym or app the same way Crunch does. I just wish they had extended hours. I had high high hopes for this gym but I’m constantly disappointed at every turn. Between the app, random fees, poor kept bathrooms, your trainers not being reliable and now this downgrade fee? Phew I’m done. Convenience really isn’t worth this headache anymore.
P.s - don’t give me an automated response to come speak with your reps. I did and was told there is nothing you guys will do. If you could’ve done something to save the membership, you should’ve done it then - not to save face on a google review.

Long story short. The management here does NOT care.
I have called several times to try and get a refund for my sons account that was wrongfully charged.
Called: Cant help on a weekend, will issue refund Monday
Called Wednesday when saw no refund. Managers were in a meeting. Leave a number to have them call you back. They didn't.
Called again on Friday. They will call you back... didn't.
Called Saturday, they gave me the GM James' email. So emailed him that day (7/27). Still no reply to my email. Or call back. I called again today and essentially were told they are in meetings all the time and my best bet is to come in Thursdays in person between 9 and 11 since afternoons are busy, Monday-Wednesday they have manager meetings and Fridays they have staff meetings.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Crunch Fitness, which has caused me significant anxiety and stress. In my opinion, if you want to avoid mental stress and dishonest practices, I advise you to stay away from this gym. Beware, guys, about cancellation at this gym. From my experience, they seem to prioritize their own interests over customer satisfaction and transparency.

When I attempted to cancel my contract within the three-day period, as stipulated, I felt misled and ultimately scammed. Despite clearly stating my intent to cancel, I was told to fill out an inquiry form instead of processing the cancellation directly.

On the day I went to cancel, the guy at the front desk even asked the manager for instructions. The manager then told him to have me fill out an inquiry form for cancellation, which I believed was the cancellation form. This deliberate misdirection prevented me from canceling my contract within the allowed timeframe, leading to unnecessary charges and a great deal of frustration. They only processed my cancellation after the three-day period had passed.

The manager was no help either, as he kept referring to the fact that I didn't sign the cancellation form within the three-day period instead of addressing the misdirection I experienced. If I had been told to sign the correct form, I would have done so immediately. Why would I need to come to the gym two more times to cancel it?

Be aware and make sure to get a copy of some sort of documentation that you have canceled. In my experience, they will make you fill out an inquiry form for cancellation and delay processing your cancellation, waiting for the time to go by so they can charge you an additional month. Ensure you sign and get the copy on the same day you intend to cancel.

I strongly advise potential members to be cautious and aware of such practices before signing up. This experience has left a bitter taste, and I will not be recommending Crunch Fitness to anyone.

I recently signed up for Crunch, since I signed up there has been issues with scanning in. The person who signed me up was only worried about the sign up and blew off the scan in issue for others. Yet still no one figured it out instead they just kept using their own number for me to use the hydro beds. Today, 7/13/2024, when I came in for some reason my membership was cancelled for an unknown reason. Elliot was the manager on duty and when I say he did the quickest fix on my account and I no longer had issues! Elliot is new to me and I appreciated seeing him due to the fact that the regular manager does very little and always has an attitude. All I want is my membership to work if I’m paying it.

THANKS AGAIN TO ELLIOT FOR BEING VERY REACTIVE TO A SITUATION THAT WAS CREATED BY OTHERS AND NEEDED TO BE FIXED! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK…WE SEE YOU AND APPRECIATE YOU! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🧡

The gym itself is awesome..the front desk staff on the other hand, not so great…long wait times to be helped, looking visibly annoyed when requesting amenities like massage or red light, often times only one person at the front with several people waiting for different things

When you go in person and cancel they don’t actually do and when you call them back when your card keeps getting charged they tell you can’t prove it! This place is terrible and it’s happened to a lot of people.

Cancelled my membership due to all the negative experiences I heard about. I had to go in in person to cancel it. They still charged me twice after I canceled and when I called them to see why I’m still being charged for a cancel membership, they said that I never cancelled!!!

Turn on A/C please. When there’s 300-500+ people inside while it’s 100 degrees out, it feels disgusting in there

Great gym and location. Every piece of equipment you could ever need. I have yet to see anything unkept, broken, or unreasonably unclean or unsafe. In the evenings, they do run a group class in the open area of the gym, which is fine, with the exception of how loud some of the trainers play the music and have their mic. Between that, the overhead music, the noise of the club population it makes for a super hectic environment. They do have plenty of closed off group exercise space and the open class seems fine, just think the gym members need to be considered. Also most of these class attendants are novice, and loud music and screaming instructions into a mic wont help them learn, more so deter them. But some of the trainers have it down and controlled; others are overboard. I am very happy they opened in this area, we definitely needed something new and fresh and all for a great price!

Their "no contracts" sign out front is very mislabeling!
I signed up for a month to month membership cause I wasn't sure how much I'd use it or not. Within 2 months I'd gone once and decided to cancel.
So you can sign the contact online, but you sure as hell can't be trusted to cancel it online!!! You have to go in person. So I drove 25 minutes there and there had to be a manager on duty to cancel a membership, so an hour wasted and I'm kinda mad now. I fo in 2 days later (25 minutes one way) and you have to give 30 days notice to cancel a month to month membership... so long story short, I'm paying for 2 more months worth of a membership because I'd gone in a day later and it renewed again etc... what's the point of a month to month membership if you can't cancel it before the next month renews!
I was disappointed and am still pissed off cause the manger was kinda rude about me wanting to cancel.
Nonetheless, the gym is massive and very cool and I wish I could go more, but I'm disappointed with them and their no contract sign is pretty stupid when they do in fact trap you into a contract!
Wish I had a better experience. Their customer service is lacking for sure!

Update: So they fired the employee which is good. They said my wife and I could use the exit freely which is better. I still think it's kinda weird to not have signs on an exit people aren't supposed to use and feel that there is no reason people shouldn't be allowed to use the exit, but whatever I guess.

The only reason I am dropping one star is because the sauna door is the worst sana door I have personally ever seen. It is about a half inch gap all the way around so there is a 0% seal and cold air is constantly blowing in. On top of that there are two metal prongs that stick out and make the door very hard to close all the way so many people end up not even closing the door... I doubt it will ever be fixed, but I would list five stars if so.

Old review below:

Today a blonde female employee named Presley gr0.ped another female's bu.t.t who was laying down on a machine and yelled at my wife and I as we left the gym at the end of our workout through a door labeled "EXIT". The door only says "EXIT" and doesn't say employees only, fire exit or anything like that.

As my wife and I were leaving we saw Presley put her hand inside the crack of the b.u.t.t (outside the yoga pants) of another girl who was laying down on an ab machine like it was some kind of joke right before she aggressively yelled "How about not?" from about 15 feet away as my wife and I left through the back exit. Is this good customer service?

To be clear this was not just a playful pat on the b.u.t.t. The girl was laying down excersising on the machine and didn't see Presley come up behind her. Presley then slid her hand up the girl's thigh into her crack.

If you are management reading this please review the gym security video around the back exit on 5/17/2024 around 11:35-11:50 PM and you will see Presley gr0.ping this other girl in public on video.

Presley then had the nerve to go to a manger who, instead of yelling at us from far away like Presley, walked up to us and spoke to us like an actual person and was much more polite. He tried to explain that it was an employee exit and apologized that it wasn't labeled and said they will get a sign and label the exit. I told him about Presley's harassment of the girl and described her and he said "Oh I think that's another worker". So this is how Crunch does things? He did say that it wasn't appropriate and he would file a complaint, but it's just ridiculous that this happened at all.

Regardless I find it insane that she gr0.ped a girl in front of me while she was on the clock and then yelled at my wife and I, so easy one star. There is no reason to bother someone covered in sweat after they finished a max hypertrophy workout who is going home to try to get protein asap about leaving through a door labeled "EXIT".

I will be filing a formal complaint with corporate.

Please get this corrected. Happy to talk about this anytime too. Thanks

If you are looking for a trainer I would definitely recommend Eric V. I was uncomfortable and unfamiliar with the gym. He made it super easy getting in and helping me build a habit. He’s always there to answer questions even outside of our sessions! 10/10

Not as clean as Yukon location. Has Skierg… but cheaped out on Rowerg and instead has Stairmaster rowers. Otherwise, comparable amenities, and more parking.

I’m giving a 4 star rating because, overall, I love this gym and very thankful that there’s one in North OKC, but please keep the gym clean. The equipment is filthy already.

Love this gym, first real gym I’ve been able to go to consistently because I actually enjoy going. There is a lot of class options as well for group fitness lovers.

The gym is freaking amazing, huge area for free weights, hit, cardio machines, its amazing. However in my opinion they messed up the mens locker section. Its absolutely small, crowded, and not enough room to change. Only 4 toilets and 4 showers for a facility that huge. Also, its been brought up several times, the sauna door doesn't close correctly, and they still haven't fixed it. In my opinion Total bad design , for such a huge facility.

Love the new facility. I have never paid for personal training before and was unsure about it but my trainer, Dinafor, has motivated me a lot, he is definitely helping me to reach my fitness goals

Needs a bigger sauna. 6 people crowded at 11:30 at night. They don't keep the body wash and hand sanitizer full, shower area littered and crudy. This already after just opening. Lots of machines and 4 employees behind the counter. I would keep the locker room clean and sanitize it throughout the day and night.

Dinafor is a great trainer. Works you at your level and pace, but encourages you to do a little more each time. He’s been working with me since opening day. It’s been great!
