I recently renewed my membership here at 4 star. The location is perfect for me, within walking distance. The size of the facility is perfect and it has personality unlike the big box gyms that are cold and have 0 character. There are plenty of weights, variety of stations/machines to hit every muscle group. A perfect selection of cardio machines. Lastly, the staff is on point with professionalism and esprit de corps. Four Star has the best gyms in Oklahoma. Clean facilities, excellent equipment, and a great staff. Locally owned and operated too! I was a member years ago and have recently come back, and it’s only gotten better. Downtown is the smallest, but it’s my personal favorite. Deaken up front has always been super helpful and when he’s not helping someone, he’s keeping the gym spotless by cleaning up. And when I’m on the other side of town, I still have access to all the other Four Star locations. Best bang for your buck by far!

Amazing Gym! I’ve been attending crunch fitness for over a year, however after visiting four star with the day pass... I am reconsidering transferring over!! The environment is very friendly, extremely tidy and I feel so motivated to workout! I was welcomed by a gentleman named deeken. This gym is phenomenal. Dunkin at the front desk showed me the gym and completely amazed me with his dedication and commitment to the Four Star gym company. The gym was spotless. Hey guys, my name’s Wyatt! I’ll just start this off by saying I’m not a current member, but I did have the privilege of stopping in this location. I enjoyed a wide variety of machines and free weight options. After my initial workout, I went to do my typical 40 minute cycle on the lazy boy bike they have. After I finished with that, I ended it all in the sauna for a nice burnout. To top it all off, the guy attending to the facility, Deacon I believe his name was, stopped at nothing to make sure my visit wasn’t anything less than ideal. If you’re looking for a great new gym to call home, this seems to be a great option. A clean, friendly, and wide-ranged facility is exactly what you will find.

I have had the pleasure of training at almost every four star location and can say having the option of going to any location is extremely beneficial. I consistently see each location getting upgrades or changes in some way. Here at the downtown location, they just changed the flooring out and it looks much better. I have had a gym membership to four star for a while ( 2+ years) and I have been to many of the locations such as Yukon, Mustang, Moore, and Guthrie. All of these locations are great, and the staff are all welcoming. However, when I was in downtown Oklahoma City I decided I wanted to try the downtown location out. When I walked in the front desk person I believe his name was degon was unbelievably welcoming. He showed me around the gym and he was super passionate about the equipment and atmosphere that the downtown location provides.

I then went to work out and I was able to see how clean, friendly, and well put everything was. There were no weights left out, all the floors were squeaky clean, and everyone was super friendly. Thanks to degon I was able to have one of the best lifts in my lifting career. I would recommend this gym to everyone and try to make sure that you get a chance to let degon show you around he is phenomenal.

Extremely difficult to cancel even if you follow the directions they have on the contract. I mailed in the cancellation form and yet I’m still being billed. I just get the run around from staff. The gym doesn’t have a large variety of equipment. The bathroom is always dirty. I’ve seen front desk staff quit left and right because they aren’t treated well (their words). So it makes it difficult to get any consistency when problems come up because “they don’t work here anymore”. There are far better options and I would not sign up again. Any gym that has to try to force you into a contract is doing so because they know you’re going to want to quit later and refuse to put the effort in to keep customers.

Managment bold face lies, no sanitation supplies upstairs, missing ceiling tiles. This place is a breading ground for bacteria & all the germs. The only thing I like is that me & my workout partner pretty much have the gym to ourselves when we workout. I do not recommend this place & hate I ever joined. I’m not going through the hassle of trying to cancel so I’ll just along with paying $35 a month, bring my own personal sanitation supplies & complete my training. Because I was out right lied to & the lack of sanitary considerations, this place gets 1star. That lie trumps everything because now 4star collectively has no credibility with me. That lie has me stuck in a contract without my sister I was told could join on my account.

The gym is meh, pretty small and has limited equipment. Any time I have tried to call the number the line is either busy or no one answers. The worst part about this gym is trying to cancel your membership. Not only do you have to go to the gym, get a piece of paper to then mail it out somewhere but on top of that the membership won't be cancelled until 30 days AFTER they have received it, if they have received it at all.

Meaning you could possibly charged for 2 ADDITIONAL, if not more, months if your timing is off and even if this process goes "perfectly". Its 2020, as a member that has been paying for years I should be able to go to the gym, tell them I'm leaving and then beep boop, it's done.

This is a scam to try and squeeze more money out of their members and its gross.

Great gym if you're not into big gyms like LA fitness and want to focus on bodybuilding at a smaller, local location. Also has all the machines and weight you'll need, without all the extra treadmills.

This place is ridiculous!!! For almost 2 months I've been trying to use my key fob on the door to workout at 4am. The key gob NEVER works. I have repeatedly told the front desk about my problem and it has not been fixed. I signed up to this gym because of the 24 hr access. This place is not 24 hr access!!! I left a message for someone to call me back. I really hope the owner cares enough to fix this issue otherwise I want out of my year contract without penalties because this place is a joke. I do not recommend this place!!!

Update: they took a few days to contact me but my problem was solved. I will be giving this place another try because we all fall short of being perfect. Thank you four star.

Great gym and location. Equipment is pretty good, gets the job done. I have two complaints: 1) The "locker" room doesn't seem to get any AC/cooling just a fan blowing hot air around... After you shower you get hot and sweaty again. 2) One of the owners took my gym bag out of the "locker" room since I didn't put it in a locker outside of the "locker" room but didn't tell me so I panicked when I went to change clothes and my bag was missing. Not cool.

Great location and equipment. The, showers and bathrooms are rough! No AC in the men's bathroom which is terrible after a workout. Other than that the place is great!

I signed up the other day and had wonderful service from Josh at the front desk. He walked me through the gym, he explained some of the machines and equipment and was very thorough on explaining my contract and everything that came with my membership. The gym is perfect for what I've been looking for. I'm looking forward to sticking around with them for a long time.

Absolutely love this gym. I started out on the May location and came to the downtown location when it opened due to it being closer to where I live. The staff is alway helpful, the facility spotless, and the management is constantly upgrading to make the place even better. I've been coming here for 3 years and if not for me moving out of state I would be staying at this gym. Going to miss my Four Star family.

This place is not "open" 24 hours... It's members can use the gym at any time but the front desk strangely is not staffed outside of certain hours... Someone let me in, and when I asked the "staff" member (who I think was a coach), I was told I couldn't sign a waiver or pay or do anything, and to come back at another time.
No thanks.

So this gym isn't terrible but I don't think it's worth the price tag. I was told when I signed up that during the evenings after work (my usual work out time) that there would be anywhere from 10-15 people using the facilities. This couldn't be further from the truth. There are easily 30+ people packed into this very small sized gym every day after work. The gym doesn't have towels, which I learned the hard way after trying to shower after a workout on my lunch break. The equipment is decent, but I would expect that out of any gym. The only difference here is that the equipment is slammed together since there is a limited amount of space. However, there is a nice blend of age groups. In conclusion, I am not a fan of waiting for equipment or the size of the facility, so I would advise to keep looking unless you live relatively close.

I mainly visit this studio as a student at the yoga studio upstairs. It looks like the equipment is nice and the staff has always been friendly to me. There is also a room upstairs where I hear them holding spin classes, etc. I do want to mention the set-up of the girls bathroom. There are only two showers and they do not seem to get cleaned as often as I would like. There is often hair collected on the bottom of the shower (and I'm there in the early morning). In addition, there is only one plug available to be used for hair dryers, etc.

So overall, I believe the facility is great for working out, but if you are planning on getting ready for work you may just be a little prepared to have to wait your turn in the bathroom.
