I love everything about this gym! Plenty of different machines/stations/equipment to target all muscle workouts. The daycare is very nice, always clean, and the girl that works in there is the sweetest! Yenny helped me get started and from that day til today, she’s always been super sweet and helpful! I see her everyday making sure the facility is clean and presentable, what seems like every hour. Definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Great small gym that gets your basic needs done. This location does not have classes, just equipment. There is a person at the location until 8 if you need assistance. They also have a sauna and tanning bed at this location.

We really enjoy working out at this gym. We started about three years ago stopped for about a year and looked into other gyms but came back to four star. Yenni, the front desk attendant is very polite and professional and one difference we did notice was that; unlike the former attendants, Yenni prides herself in keeping the gym very clean!

I didn’t even get to attend this gym due to having to move out of state abruptly for medical reasons. The one star is because I was assured by Yessenia the cancellation process was as simple as providing a change of address (which I have done before with other gyms no problem). The process was a lot more complicated than that. You need to obtain and fill out a cancellation form that must be sent out of state through certified mail, as well as your change of address document. This all must be postmarked 30 days before your next billing date or else you will be charged multiple times before they actually cancel your membership.

That was a headache in its own not to mention the unprofessional, condescending emails I got back from Yessenia herself regarding this issue. I’m super disappointed by this gym and how they run their business and treat their clients.

This place is an absolute GEM! The cleanest gym I’ve ever been to. Several platforms and squat racks, turf area for plyometric stuff, every dumbbell weight you could ever need and a ton of accessory machines. This is the best gym there is. Only gym in Oklahoma with 24/7/365 access to MULTIPLE locations. No yearly or hidden fees of any kind. Membership agreement is as transparent as can be, there’s no small letters or hidden terms that members don’t know about, if anybody ever has a question about their membership terms we happily explain them all 🤗
Cancelation process is fairly easy, the people who complain and leave bad reviews about it do it simply because they just don’t want to follow the process and want things done right at the moment which is not how things are done anywhere in this planet, but the people who understand and follow the process has no issues whatsoever 👏
The gyms stay as clean as can be, we’re staffed 12 hrs a day during the week and Saturdays 9-3pm during those hours the staff is constantly cleaning, we have hundreds of people visit our locations in a 24hr period which makes it hard to keep up but we do everything we can to have our gyms in the best conditions possible for our members to have a great workout experience 💪

Two stars because it’s open 24h and people are nice. But this place is constantly dirty, the dust bunnies are everywhere, and equipment poorly maintained, torn, broken. How expensive are yoga mats that they keep ones that have huge tears?
Once I asked an employee (or maybe they’re volunteers. That would explain a lot) to clean an area and his answer was the vacuum had broken that “morning”. Though he was kind, I guess the vacuum had to be broken for a year to justify the state of the place. Sad, because the location is so convenient for me.

One of the most ridiculous places I have worked and I suppose all gyms are set up on this business model. I moved and went through entire process of sending a certified letter of my move information (ridiculous really) and they still won't stop charging me. This gym is decent, but it is poorly laid out. Also, music here is really loud. I get its a gym, but the music here can truly be excessive sometimes. Would rate this 4 stars if they would attempt to work with us that don't enjoy loud music in the gym. But called today and was told "they don't have access to the music" which may be true but I'd like to at least be guided towards the person who does have access so maybe we can come to some understanding. But again it may just be me. All in all it is a good gym just keep these things in mind before you go

Love the equipment. They have the best leg equipment in okc. Its just too crowded. Have to constantly wait forever to get on equipment even on sunday unless its in the evening. I just came in at 2pm on Sunday thinking it would be easy to get a quick leg day in; it was a zoo in there. Will try again this evening. A one hour workout takes 2 hours due to this. I hope they continue to expand and move into larger facilities. This will help mitigate the overcrowding thats going on at the edmond location.

Was a member for almost a year. No issues. Contacted at the end of October they can’t process my debit card. I go into resolve it. In person they still can’t. This is Oct 30th. They have me call the processor. Like that’s my job as the customer. Processor can’t process it either. Told to contact my bank or use another form of payment. I drive back to the gym on Oct 31 and tell them to just cancel it. He says he can’t until I pay past due balance for payment they couldn’t process on Oct 29th. I pay them. Apparently they can process it for one time payments but not auto pay? Then he tells me I have to give a 30 day notice so I’ll have another payment due at the end of November. ?? I said I’m giving you a 30 day notice right now. He says since it’s less than 30 days to the next payment due (by 1 or 2 days) that I owe them an another month on top of the month I just paid. I said that’s almost a 60 day notice. I told him the credit card processor your business chose is failing you and I have to pay ? He said I only work here I don’t make the rules. So because they can’t process my credit card I have to pay two more months of dues. Great customer service.

If I could give zero, I would. I moved back to NYC and needed to cancel. You have to fill out a paper form and mail it as certified. Sounds simpler than what it is. Fill out paperwork, printed proof, take it to USPS and pay to have it mailed certified to a PO Box. The owner said he does this on purpose so people forget or don't want to do it and he makes more money off of them. The lady at the post office said they have to do this all of the time. Gym is too small anyway. I'd recommend Life Time. A million times better and many trainers have left Four Star to go to Life Time.

Daycare facility is the size of a large closet. So if you have young children and need daycare, I would not go here.

The membership comes with their tanning bed, but the tanning bed was usually not working when I tried to use it.

BEWARE OF THIS GYM!
If I could give this gym negative stars I would. The only reason we chose this gym was because it was 24 hours, and it was a short drive for us. We signed up for a one-year contract, after the one-year contract had ended we were still being charged. OUR CONTRACT ENDED SO SHOULD OUR CHARGES. We never consented to continue being charged after the contract ended and it was never explained to us that that would occur. After countless calls back and forth we were told we OWED them money and that if we did not pay it would be sent to collections. Yet my card was being charged every month, and I showed them statements to prove that, so how do I money? Another phone call again we were told we could cancel but it would be a 30-day notice of cancellation and we would still be charged until the cancellation was finalized. I have never had so much difficulty cancelling a membership with a gym and communicating with a gym before. ESPECIALLY with active-duty military, and how quick our turn arounds can be. This is not a way to handle a business and there can be a better more respectful and easier way to conduct business. SAVE YOUR MONEY. This hassle is not worth is for the customer service and the equitment you get, there are plenty of gyms with better prices, service, and equitment. I will be making a complaint to the BBB.

The only reason I got a one year membership fir this gym is because its 24hours and the year membership was cheaper (or so I thought). I was quite disappointed in the equipment and how cramped it was. Its definitely not worth the money. When the year was up we were still charged. The effort we had to put in to cancel was completely ridiculous considering its a contract that ENDED, so should our charges! Having to MAIL in our reason to cancel was absolutely unnecessary and it took forever so of course we were charged AGAIN. I have never had such difficulty in communication and customer service at a gym before. There should be an easier and more respectable way of handling these matters. I was a member of this gym for almost a year. Then I moved out of state and let them know within a 30-day time frame. They still tried to charge me for being a member even though I wasn't even in that state anymore. It's been 3 months now and I'm still fighting with them still receiving text messages and emails. No help at all at solving my issue, I do not recommend this gym at all.

I just went for the first time and it was amazing. The size was perfect. Not packed and overwhelming with so many people. Everyone is super cool. I had the opportunity to train with Yessenia and definitely got some good tips. My legs totally hurt the next day. You should change your name to five star fitness(get it bc I gave you guys five stars) but really. cool gym.

I have been a member of Four Star Fitness since 2012 and going to the Edmond location since July of 2017. The gym is always kept neat and clean. Having a child care room that's supervised is/was great when my child was smaller. The staff is knowledgeable of their equipment, supplements and training. I highly recommend this gym!

This is a great gym! The gym doesn’t do the workout for you but it helps when your gym is a community. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The child care is convenient and flexible. The equipment is nice and well taken care of. It’s a great local gym with 24/7 access. Love it here!

I’ve been working out at this gym for over 3 years now and I have 0 complaints. The staff is very friendly there always willing to help out. The equipment is always clean and ready to be used. This gym is a little smaller then the other 4 Star fitnesses but it has everything you could need for any sort of training that you are doing.

This gym is one if not the best in the area! Great environment, the members are friendly, the gym being open 24/7, and the variety of equipment is on point! The cleanliness of the gym in the mornings is impeccable! Yesenia does such an amazing job with upkeep of the gym! She's very friendly and knowledgeable! I definitely recommend going to this gym if you're in between looking for a new gym and or even just thinking about starting to go to a gym.

I like working out here. The place is a bit smaller but it has the essentials. People are nice and the fact it's 24/7 is a big win for me. It can feel a bit cramped at time but I get everything I need in. Plus it's a local place so it's nice to be able to support them.

They let me train like a maniac, never complain, and are always friendly at Four Star. I recommend it to everyone. Open 24 hours all through covid, they have done a good job. 5 stars for Four Star

I signed up under my step dad so I was able to use the tanning beds. After just a few times of using it, I realized that my skin was having a terrible reaction, so I went to cancel my membership. I was not made aware that they had me sign a one year contract, and I wasn’t able to cancel even with my skin condition. I continuously tried to call and complain, and was finally told I could pay 50 dollars, get a doctors note, and mail it all in. 30 days after that’s all done, then it could be cancelled.

No one is able to do anything about the contract I was not made aware of when I signed. I know it’s my own fault for not reading the entire thing, but it should absolutely be made known to the customer that they’re unable to cancel for a year.
The facility is great and most of the staff is lovely. However, this poor communication and lack of caring to fix it is why I’m giving them 1 star, and why I won’t be returning again. I’ve wasted so much money.

Love this gym!! If you love a HUGE gym with all that fancy stuff, then this probably isn't the gym for you. This little hidden gym..lol has tanning and child care but is relatively small which I love. Its open 24 hours and your membership covers all locations.

Workers are super friendly, gym is very clean and equipment is easy to use. Lots of friendly people here too. Glad to be part of the four star fitness family now. The only complaint I have is the cardio equipment is a little lacking. Other than that, great for daily workouts!
